Week 1 has started off great so far seeing some beautiful green coming. Misting every other day! No nutes yet! Everything is going great so far.

Pistils changing color no idea how longs left now but would assume Atleast 2 weeks

Added the first screen into the tent. Decided to kick Big Mumma out because she just wasn't growing any taller and the other plants were really over growing her. For the new setup I used kitty litter trays and mesh to sit the plants on - each plant gets its own tray so I can track runoff EC individually and I cut little flaps in the mesh so I can wet vac the runoff. With this setup I shouldn't need to move the plants out of the tent until harvest. For the scrog I just tied some builders rope around the poles of the tent and tied the trellis netting off with training wire. I've been manipulating the growth just to try and fill out the whole screen, I also gave them a good haircut because I plan on flipping them soon, don't want them to outgrow the tent.

🌿 Lava Cake – Week 5 (First Week Flower) | Pre-Bloom & Heat Talk 🌿 The Lava Cakes have officially stepped into their flowering tent… though, to be fair, they’re still enjoying a little extra veg time before showing pistils. Both phenos are healthy, lush, and stretching beautifully, clearly ready for the show ahead. ⸻ 📸 Photo Studio Glam We took them out for another studio shoot, bright lights, clean background, and every angle showing off their deep greens and perfect branching. Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. But for flowering, we want to keep daytime temps closer to 24–28°C for optimal quality. ⸻ 💧 Watering Strategy We water when the soil dries to about 25% moisture remaining, this encourages: • Stronger root growth searching for water • Better oxygenation of the root zone • Less risk of root rot in warm temps Right now: They’re drinking daily due to the heat, so we’re feeding daily as well. ⸻ Current Feeding (per L of water) • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml With the increased drinking rate, nutrient uptake has increased — meaning no signs of deficiency, just steady lush green. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead • AC installation will stabilize temps, allowing tighter VPD control • First signs of pistils should appear within the next 7–10 days • We’ll begin adjusting feed ratios for early bloom once flowers set • Light intensity will climb further as stretch continues ⸻ 💚 Closing Note: This week is all about momentum, heat or no heat, the Lava Cakes are pushing upward, prepping themselves for a heavy flower load. Keeping my lady happy is a full-time job full of surprises, sometimes heavily exhausting long hours. I'm giving all my love to them. Geht langsam in Richtung Ernte, so 2 Wochen dann verpasse ich der Pflanze Flash Clean und Final Part von Terra Aquatica. Das ist dann auch nochmal 1 gute Woche. Die Trichome müssen für mich jetzt nicht Amber sein, bin mega ungeduldig.. Bin mal gespannt wieviel die Madame Orange Bud auf die Waage bringt.. Bye

END OF WEEK 4 FLOWER Seems to be going well, nice to be able to sit back and watch these girls grow :D Had some bleaching on a few of the nugs, so I dimmed the light slightly and managed to raise it an extra 5cm. I also bent a few of the taller stems out from directly underneath. Big Mumma is killing it, some real nice and dense little nugs on her.

Hey Cannafam, Horray the suns been out this week and my gals been soaking up some rays most of the week, apart from today and yesterday wheres its been raining. Shes now started flowering and smell has noticibly increased, i may have to move her again soon as when it increases more she may be noticed as i know this one is strong on odour! Ive managed to get another feed in her this week and although shes still not a great colour shes recovering nicely 😊 I have however had to pluck a few leaves due to leaf miners so hopefully they dont spread! Apart from that shes had good growth and really happy that this gal is bouncing back for me. Thats all for now, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️

Going little bit slower but will see,(UPDATE D51)i put an CFL 200W lamp at day 48 until harvest,the older lamp was a waste of time and waste of money,hope the plant will get a lot bigger with this light

Hey Cannafam, Its been another mixed week for my gal. Starting with the weather most days have been raining if not cloudy, again with high humidity in the 80s -90s. Unfortunately i spotted a bit more rot startin a few days ago in her main cola near the top, again its been caught early and was removed early but its not ideal and shes being watched very closely atm. On a positive note todays been lovely and sunny and the humidity has now started to come down a bit which is welcome, the weather for the next week although not hot will be mainly dry on the local reports! Feed wise shes had one feed this week to which ive added a weak boost of PK13/14 to aid flower development. Shes filled out a bit more this week both in her central cola and the lower branches. Trichomes are mostly half clear/half cloudy with a few ambers, so this gals got a little way to go yet in her development for that optimum heavy Indica stone. The pics were done with a jewellers loupe held under my phone so apologies on the clarity as its not a 100% Thats all from me for now, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️
