🌸 Week 7 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week has passed and flowering is now in full swing across all 6 phenos 👀🔥 The differences between the plants continue to grow, and it’s becoming easier to see which phenos have the potential to become real standouts by harvest time. 📈 Current observations: Pheno #1 and #6 have finally started to catch up and are now slowly building buds as well 🌸 Pheno #5 continues to dominate the tent and has stretched to an impressive 130 cm The flower development on Pheno #5 is especially promising, with some bud sites already suggesting the potential for 25 cm+ colas if everything continues as planned 🔥 Pheno #2 and #6 are being overshadowed by the larger phenos and are clearly falling behind in overall size and vigor The structural differences between the phenos are now more obvious than ever, with some focusing on height while others remain more compact and bushy 💡 Environment & setup: The grow has now reached its current limits in terms of space and lighting: Light fixture raised to its maximum height Light intensity increased to 80% Summer temperatures pushing the tent up to around 32°C ☀️ Relative humidity averaging around 67% Despite the higher temperatures, the plants are still pushing forward and stacking flowers nicely. The next few weeks will be all about bud development, density, and resin production. 🏆 At the moment, Pheno #5 is definitely demanding attention, but there is still plenty of time for surprises. Sometimes the biggest plant doesn't end up being the best one, and that's exactly what makes a pheno hunt so exciting. 💬 Which pheno do you think will come out on top when harvest day arrives?

Total tent entry time this entire week was 15 minutes. Today was focused on recording data mainly. I'm giving them a weekend off before full schwazze, top dress, & flip next week. Tucked any fan leaves blocking growth sites. Worked 1/4 cup Kiss My Frass, mealworm derived insect Frass, into straw mulch top layer of each container. Hand watered each plant with 1/2 gallon 6.5 ph 13 ppm reservoir water mixed with 1/2 tsp each of coconut water powder, Azos, & quillaja powder. Raised DLI to 35. I fully expect it to naturally raise to 40 as the plants expand vertically. Raised average VPD to 1.0 -Expression #1- Previous Week Height-5" Width-6"x9" Current Week Height-10" Width-18"x20" -Expression #2- Previous Week Height-4.5" Width-8"x7" Current Week Height-8.5" Width-15"x14"

Bit of nute burn appeared on just one of these phenos overnight. I think this is as this plant flowers longer than my nute charts so did a bit of experimenting. Wil dial it back a bit at this stage next grow to avoid this and have dialled back a bit now, moving forwards. It's not too bad and still seems localised to certain parts of just one plant so not gonna stress about it.

🌱 Folder 10B | Guava Auto Week 2 – The Elegant Sister Begins to Stretch Welcome back to another week of the 8×8 Adventure, where every phenotype receives its own individual diary, allowing us to appreciate the subtle differences that make each plant unique. Meet Frosted Guava Auto 10B. Although she shares exactly the same genetics, growing medium, feeding schedule and environmental conditions as her sister, she has already chosen her own path. Where Plant A remained exceptionally compact, Plant B immediately showed a little more ambition toward vertical growth. Not excessive. Not uncontrolled. Simply a slightly more open architecture that gives her a graceful appearance while still maintaining excellent structural balance. This is exactly why pheno hunting is so rewarding. Even sisters have their own personalities. ⸻ 🌿 Growing Conditions Every plant in this project grows under identical controlled conditions, allowing the genetics—not environmental differences—to shape each phenotype. Healthy roots today become heavy flowers tomorrow. ⸻ 🌱 Plant Development Watching these two sisters side by side has been one of the highlights of this week. From the first few days after transplant it became obvious that Plant B was expressing a different growth pattern. Her internodal spacing is just a little wider. The central stem continues extending steadily while producing beautifully symmetrical branches from every node. She still remains compact compared with many autoflowers, but there is a noticeable elegance to her overall structure. Rather than forming one dense cluster of leaves, she naturally creates a slightly more open canopy that allows light to penetrate deeper into the plant. The result is a structure that feels balanced, relaxed and incredibly healthy. Every photograph taken this week reflects that quiet confidence. ⸻ 🌿 Training Progress As with her sister, this week focused on gentle canopy management rather than aggressive manipulation. Leaf tucking became part of the daily routine, exposing developing secondary branches and improving airflow throughout the centre of the plant. A small amount of low-stress training encouraged the side branches to begin catching up with the main stem while preserving the plant’s naturally elegant architecture. One thing quickly became apparent. This phenotype almost seems to cooperate with the training. She opens naturally. She responds quickly. She seems eager to build multiple flowering sites without needing much encouragement. Sometimes a plant simply tells you how she wants to grow. The best growers know when to listen. ⸻ 📸 Behind This Week’s Photos The photographs beautifully capture the difference between the two Guava sisters. Early in the week, the camera highlights a strong central leader with perfectly healthy new growth and vibrant colour. As the days pass, the overhead images reveal a wonderfully symmetrical arrangement of fan leaves, creating an almost star-shaped canopy. The close-up macro shots show vigorous new shoots emerging confidently from each node, while the side profile demonstrates her slightly taller, more graceful posture compared with Plant A. She isn’t trying to become oversized. She’s simply expressing a little more vertical elegance while maintaining excellent balance. The camera tells that story perfectly. ⸻ 🌱 Looking Ahead Next week should become particularly interesting. With every new node, Plant B is creating more opportunities for lateral branching while continuing her gentle upward growth. As low-stress training progresses, I expect those side branches to begin forming a beautifully even canopy capable of supporting numerous flowering sites. Her slightly longer internodes may ultimately provide excellent light penetration during flower, reducing congestion while still maintaining impressive bud density. She may not look identical to her sister. But that’s exactly what makes her special. Two sisters. Two personalities. FINAL HARVEST REPORT: Permanent Bluez (IZI Seeds) ​🌼 SUMMARY OF THE JOURNEY The cycle is complete. From a tiny seed to these resin-drenched, purple boulders, the Permanent Bluez has been a pleasure to grow. Despite a minor LST injury in the early stages, she bounced back with incredible vigor. She handled high VPD levels and a full BioBizz feeding schedule like a champion, staying vital and deep green until the final day. ​❄️ THE HARVEST Harvested at Day 70 of bloom. The buds are incredibly dense and heavy. The trichome coverage is top-tier – literally every millimeter is covered in "frost". The visual contrast between the anthracite-purple calyxes and the bright white resin is world-class. ​👃 FINAL AROMA PROFILE The scent is exactly what I hoped for: A dominant base of Sweet Berries with a sharp, Sour finish. The "Permanent Marker" funk is still lurking in the background, making it a very complex and exotic smelling harvest. ​📊 TECHNICAL STATS ​Total Time: 14 Weeks ​Bloom Time: 10 Weeks ​VPD at Finish: 1.69 kPa ​Trichomes: 90% Cloudy / 10% Amber ​💭 CLOSING THOUGHTS A huge thanks to IZI Seeds for these amazing genetics. Esta semana he bebido 2909ml de agua de riego, un 11% menos que la semana anterior. Una semana de paz, mis flores continúan creciendo, mi masa foliar se mantiene casi intacta y saludable, me alimento principalmente de los nutrientes y minerales del sustrato, que mis amigos los microorganismos solubilizan y mineralizan... mientras siga creciendo mi cultivador no me cortará... no quiero hacerme mayor 🤸‍♀️🌾👸 01/05/21 Hace cuatro días que me hicieron el último riego, he tardado un día más de lo normal en consumirlo, porque ha hecho un poco de frío. Hoy he tomado una mezcla suave de riego para que a mis flores no les falten nutrientes (PK): Hidrolizado potásico de leonardita (Humato) con fósforo (Húmicos, fúlvicos, PK) al 1%, aderezado con Microorganismos de Montaña Activados con minerales y nutrientes (MMA Plus) al 1,5% y endulzado con melaza. PH: 6.54, EC: 1.0. 1700ml. 05/05/21 Hoy mi cultivador ha decidido regarme, por ahora, con menos cantidad de agua, para poder regarme cada 3 días en vez de cada 4, de esta manera, el sustrato tendrá más cantidad de oxígeno y los microorganismos harán su trabajo en mejores condiciones aeróbicas. Mis hojas se mantienen muy saludables, muy lentamente están amarilleando, mis flores mantienen pistilos blancos y no hay síntomas adversos, yo me encuentro muy bien y cuando necesito comer se lo pido a los Microorganismos que siempre tienen nutrientes y minerales a mi disposición. Riego con inoculación de MM para acelerar el proceso de disolución y mineralización de nutrientes del sustrato: Agua de montaña con Microorganismos de Montaña Activados (MMA Basic) al 3% con Ormus al 0,5% y melaza. PH: 6.46, EC: 0.88. 1300ml. ..How the hell did I get here so soon I don't wanna grow up... Hasta la próxima semana amigos... Week 6 of growth was another bumpy ride. Temperatures climbed up to 27–30 °C (Celsius), which is definitely on the hot side, and humidity sometimes dropped as low as 40–45%. That combo put some serious stress on the plant. To fix it, I made a simple but effective move: I turned off the exhaust fan. Right away, humidity went up to about 70%, and the plant clearly started looking more comfortable. She seems to be handling these new conditions much better. I did make a mistake this week, though. Wanting to push growth a little too fast, I cranked up the light intensity too quickly, jumping from 300 to nearly 600 PPFD. With humidity already so low, that sudden boost dried the plant out. She definitely felt it, but I caught it in time, adjusted back, and now she’s recovering well. A bit of lost time, but nothing dramatic. The real highlight of the week has to be the Athena nutrients. The pH stayed locked at 6.1 from start to finish, without moving at all. I really appreciate that kind of stability, and I’m excited to see how it will impact the plant’s health and growth over the next few weeks.
