very nice strain with 2 great ancestors, solid taste and scent, got some great buds with great taste and awesome looking plants with incredible colors

Week 12 (4/04/22 - 4/10/22)

Pineapple Express kept stretching this week to just under 4 feet tall. She smells amazingly like freshly cut pineapples. She was stretching past the light and I decided to super crop her and net her down. So far she seems to have dealt well to the damage. I’m hoping it won’t effect my yield too much but I know it will a bit. Bud development seems to be going strong and the top buds don’t appear smaller than the lower ones even after splitting the stem on a few branches. Suspected berry white plant is still extremely indica in type, short, bushy and wide leaves as well. Flowers are beginning to appear and she is finally stretching up a bit. Leaves don’t appear more sativa even in flower. Berry white was the only true indica seed I had in the mix. I still strongly suspect this plant was from berry white (blueberry x white widow) bud I had gotten from a dispensary. Male plant was removed entirely from the grow area. I waited until he had nice pod development and then moved him into a different room. The cold in the unseated room triggered pods to open recently, I was able to cross him with my females by dusting pollen onto a qtip. I’m hoping the entire tent isn’t covered in pollen, I sprayed the tent down with water right after pollinating the marked branches. Pollinated branches are marked with a green plant tie. Hoping to see some seed development in the next week. If the girls are pollinated properly, the male will be chopped and if I need to I will pollinate the girls again.

🌱 Animal Mints — Week 6 From Seed (≈ Week 2 Flower / Pre-Flower Phase) Quick Recap for New Readers This run includes multiple Animal Mints plants, all treated similarly, but we’re mainly cataloging two reference plants to clearly show how timing affects structure and development: • Plant A → 12/12 from seed • Plant B → ~15 days under 16/8 veg, then flipped to flower Same genetics, same room, same feeding — different timelines. That’s the whole experiment. ⸻ Plant A vs Plant B — Why Two Plants? • Plant A (12/12 from seed) • More compact • Slower early structure • Responds very well to gentle leaf bending and light training • Still stretching and stacking nicely • Plant B (short veg period) • Bigger frame • More developed branching • Further along in flower at the same “seed age” • Took light cleanup / lollipopping better This small veg window made a huge difference in structure and flower progression, and that’s exactly why we’re documenting both. ⸻ ✂️ Canopy Work (No Heavy Defoliation) This week we did selective leaf removal, not a true defoliation: • Opened airflow and light paths • Removed shaded or blocking leaves • Light lollipopping on Plant B only • Plant A kept mostly intact, just leaf bending and spacing Goal wasn’t stress — it was space, airflow, and efficiency. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day Temp: ~28°C (successfully raised) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (depending on height & position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm (now stabilizing around 909 ppm) As outside temps stayed cooler, the room naturally became its own heat source: • Increased plant mass • Higher light intensity • Under-canopy lighting added No forced heaters. No extremes. Just letting the system balance itself. 🌬️ Airflow • Vortex extraction • Multiple cross-flow fans • Constant gentle movement No leaf chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear transition phase. • EC: ~2.4 • pH: 6.5 (transitioning down — all feeds now 6.0+) Why Higher pH Right Now? As plants move into flower, nutrient demand shifts: • Better Ca / Mg uptake • Stronger phosphorus & potassium availability • Root activity increases Slightly higher pH at this stage supports structural growth and flower formation, especially under higher light and CO₂. También he recortado las hojas enormes para que la luz pueda penetrar en el interior de la planta. He agregado más fósforo al fertilizante para estimular la floración. Starting week 3, this strain grows like crazy!! The conditions are looking good, i am now giving her full nutes since she took more than well the last half-dozed nutes. Very nice lush green with no signs of deficiencies! One the root found its way to the tank wich surprised me be how fast she broke through the bottom hole

Left them alone this week except for a watering. First strong one I gave them. Found a mushroom in my soil a couple days later. Think I might have disturbed him because he died on me.

I found this seed in bud that I harvested from my Barney's Liberty Haze plant. It was grown in my grow room and you can see my GrowDiary log of that plant. I am not sure exactly how I ended up with seeds... maybe there was light or temperature stress which resulted in a herm. In any case, I decided to grow this seed as a fun experiment. I didn't even know if the seed would germinate... but it grew just FINE. I didn't top it, or give it any special treatment. I guess you could say she grew 'native' or 'au natural.' I have never grown outside before, but I had space in the garden, and the seedling looked healthy, so I hardened her off and popped her into the dirt. She ended up going into a huge monster of a plant. Standing over 9 feet tall I had to laugh out loud each time I climbed the ladder to inspect her top cola LOL. I had so much fun growing this plant. I called her Majestic Haze (we live on Majestic Drive) because I'm not sure if Barney's would want me calling her Liberty Haze. I can't verify the genetics for sure :) I wonder how plant breeders handle those kinds of things??... This bud is fun for parties and conversation. It starts out with an energetic vibe and then settles into a relaxed chill stoned feeling. We vaped our dried bud, and then we tried some of our hand rolled hash... then we settled in for the night. Woke up a sit high still LOL but it's Saturday and we don't need to go anywhere so it's all good LOL... This one is the bud of choice for house parties and silly Netflix watching. PS if you haven't see The Good Place... you need to get stoned and watch it. The total dried weight of bud from this plant was just under one pound @ 310g and we also ended up with around 120 g of frosty trim. We also rolled up about a gram of hash which has some serious kick :)

Its a bit rainy today so she is in the safehouse.. dont worry, its nice and cosy..with a lil breeze😎👍 its their favourite spot to come together and catch up .. so they dont mind 👊 So as u can see, my darlin clementine is finally growing up and becoming an Orange! she is showing some pistils too think/hope she is gonna be a sweet Citrus-Cannabis- Bonsai!😎👌 happy growing for all✊

Well, marking the first week of flower. Lots of pistils, flower has begun. Just wildly hot weather, 33c days, full sun every day, we've had 6mm of rain in 2 months, average rainfall for June / July should be 60mm. As much as I love the weather, climate change / water scarcity worries me. Luckily we have a good clean glacier fed reservoir with strict water restrictions in summer. Made a compost tea in 5g bucket, compost, molasses, kelp, Epsom, some coir, and aerate for 24hrs. Removed some inner nodes not catching up to the cannopy, and some lst clips for the tallest nodes. Cannopy is looking really great and FLAT! Drones the only way I can get up there to see, must be pushing 7ft easy by now. Stalk is insane, biggest i've ever grown, going to need a chainsaw to remove it! Fingers crossed for a dry August / September. Hoping weekly spray of LCPT will keep Botrytis away, last fall we had 98% humidity, not much hope with that!

Week 7 Veg Report 🌿✨ Hey Grow Fam! 🌱 Week 7 of veg is here, and let me tell you, the grow room is buzzing with life! Each of the girls is showing off her unique personality, and I’m especially stoked about the Papaya Zoap—she’s really coming into her own! The scrog net is nearly filled out just how I wanted it, and I can feel we’re so close to flipping to flower. The anticipation is real! 😁 But before we get to flowering, let’s take a dive into something that makes this grow so smooth—ThinkGrow LED drivers and cables. ThinkGrow LED Drivers – Plugging Into Success 💡🔗 This week, I had a chance to work deeper with the ThinkGrow LED system, and honestly, it’s like a dream come true for efficiency. I’ve been using the TLD-4 Four Spectrum Control Channels Model One LED Driver, and let me break down how it works. The drivers attach directly to the bars—super sleek and no extra bulk. And, the connections? It’s a matter of matching the male and female connectors on the TDC-2 Daisy Chain Cord. It’s like a simple puzzle that snaps together perfectly. The TDC-4 cord takes it to the next level, connecting the top bars to the ICL-300 Inner-Canopy LED Bar, giving complete control and balance across every layer of my canopy. Why is this important? Harvest time for Divine storm. Not much to say about this strain, except this is my last time growing it. July 11 update, 84 grams dry weight. Same taste and smell as before, a wine taste with a bit of fruit.

This week I decided to remove the LST and let her strech out as much as she wants. I lollipopped her on day 49 and cutted down all the branches that will never grow to the light. She has to strech as much as possible because there are some way taller plants under the same light. I hope she gonna produce some nice flower and will continue to strach abit. Dirty Aquarium Water: 6.43 pH 381 PPM 73.4⁰F They've gotten both bushier & taller, I needed to create more room in the tent for the clones that I will make seeds from, so I moved the extra clones I'm uncertain of what I'm going to do with it into a makeshift grow area. I'm waiting for temperatures to stay consistently warm outside so I can get these soon to be forced female outdoors to start making feminized seeds.

beginning of week 2. they are all doing well, up potted once and they immediately took over the new fabric pots. i think I may go up to 1 gallons before I put them in their final airpot 3 gallons, depending on my work schedule. did upload a timelapse but the file got a bit corrupted. good enough anyway everything seems to be going well except I really can't decide how I'm going to grow these plants (structure-wise) and it's getting to the time where I need to decide. I've had awesome results with LST, quad line, just topping and some light training, SCROG. Really can't decide what to do here but I'm sure it will come to me. Temp and humidity have been super consistent which is awesome. I have a bunch of new stuff coming in the mail from AC Infinity, a new controller that will allow me to program day/night, right now I manually adjust it on my phone before I go to bed with the Elitech controllers. Also a new exhaust fan because the bearings in mine are shot and it's super loud, two 6" oscillating circulation fans, and a new commercial humidifier.
