Week 14 is here! The girls are almost done, i see alot of amber trichomes and some cloudy, so i will begin the flush in the next couple of days and then harvest in a week or two. The buds are rock hard and extremely frosty, really sticky stuff! The smell is so strong and very sweet on the nose. I see some deficiencies in both of them but they are so close to done/flush that i'm not going to go ham with nutrients to fix them. Good growing everyone!

Hello. This is the end of week 10 and the beginning of week 11 of veg. Things are going good in here. The plant is doing good. Saw some thrips damage on one leaf near the door. I'm trying diluted peppermint essential oil this year as an insecticide. Getting some hot days ahead with strong sun... Got the fans going on full most days now. OK. Be Great. Chuck.

Week 14 Day 101 Flower Day 51, she's just about there. Going to apply Terra Powers finisher later during the week. She still has a lot of mycelium left on top and throughout her, I really dialed in the enzymes on this grow. My charts aren't updated properly I'll finish it this week, and will be showing root shots and hopefully we will be seeing a covered pot in roots and not just compacted soil. There's been a lot of fungi and mycelium, that is partly down to Terry Power mixing well with organic soil, it works well as a great soil conditioner. But it takes a while, I constantly fed this girl enzymes. And man O man, look at them buds. The colas are huge in length, and that's down to poor mainline practices and uneven energy distribution. As for left and right been similar, well, put it this way, you'd struggle to actually make something that's more uneven energy wise than this, there's nodes growing over nodes, nothing is even, really terrible mainline it the way it's meant to be done, the purpose was totally ditched here and it was very lazy. And to be honest, unknowingly is an understatement. And the fact I had such failures on my 2nd round with germination, I got to focusing the last few weeks, and pult it all back together and I've hit l got 2 pretty darn good looking phenos, (with no clones taken, another rookie mistake, if you find a pheno you should always have a clone tent and a few weeks into flowering if it's no good or hermies than ditch them, but if you get one like my SLH dwc with very low leaf to calyx ratio if you just have 1-2 clones, you are golden. So currently I have 5 different photos running and I'm pheno hunting. Anyways back to this grow. So, she's nice and fat, but nothing you'd really want to clone, there's nothing special about it. Medium-calyx ratio and good frosty bud. I'm happy with it. Thankfully I'm running a few of the New Green House Unreleased Strains for testing also for barneys so I think photos have stolen my attention. Keeping the RH between 40-45 temp is more stable atm at 28c not really getting low temperature as we are in the height of summer. But I don't care, I have the winter coming to do terpness. I've got 1 SLH left, I just hope she's a good pheno. The buds on this are monsters, and really happy with them. Lots of mycelium left so there's food left and then later in the week I'll apply the finsher. Just a low dose. D103 Sadly my mycelium got hit with some mold. Only 2 small spots, 90% most of the mycelium went through the norm, it degraded as organic matter and made for some heavy buds, she is struggling to hold herself up altogether now, am going to have to brace her to get the best out of the last 10days. She is done, but because of ALL the heavy minerals, that aren't organic, it has HAS to be flushed. Now I was on the ropes the last few weeks about flushing but I've been flushing both my SLH for the last 4 days and when you walk into my tent now, wow, the bang of 🍋 is so strong. I'm so glad I flushed these, As I was like, this is a multiple award winner, so I was like, its not from the smell of the bud as it stands but wow, its like she's at to been doing a 10k run and is sweating, the smell is so beautiful. Wow, wow, wow. I haven't been this excited to try some weed, ever. About the mold, its never a good thing. But as it started on actually fungus I'm not too worried about it. Now, if it had of just been there, I'd be like shit wtf, so I dug through some soil and scraped away the 2 bits of mold, DISCARDED, and mixed up the remaining mycelium into the soil with the spoon I use to mix my soil on top to help dry a little if over watered. Nach 3 Wochen cure kommt dir beim Öffnen ein ausgewogener Geruch von Apfel und Afghani entgegen. Der Apfelgeruch überwiegt.

Looking really good. Not super stocked on the structure of the buds themselves but can’t complain about anything else. Seeing lots of foxtailing in the GD and GG but not at all in the other two - which is interesting. My guess is that if I had thinned the plants much more aggressively I would be seeing more of the photogenic large colas that I was after. Next time!

Constructive interference is the phenomenon where two waves combine to form a new wave with a larger amplitude. This occurs when the peaks of one wave align with the peaks of another, and troughs align with troughs, causing their amplitudes to add together. For example, if two identical waves meet, their amplitudes will combine to produce a resultant wave with double the original amplitude. Constructive interference is a fundamental phenomenon based on the universal laws of nature, specifically the principle of superposition. 👋Top is a clean cut, no confusion for the plant, road ahead is clear, by completely removing the main growth tip, the auxin source is eliminated. The plant permanently halts vertical growth from that main stem and immediately sends its energy and hormones to the two new, evenly spaced branches just below the cut. Fimming slightly different because a small tuft of the top growth is left behind, the auxin disruption is temporary and less severe. The plant recovers more quickly and sends its energy to multiple surrounding growth points, often creating four or more new shoots from the same spot. It will eventually regain some vertical dominance after a few weeks if left to its own devices, but with a little more LST, bending the apex to the same height as the rest of the internodes, this shatters dominance, hopefully creating around 8-9 main shoots growing at equal height once recovered and grown out. The amount of photosynthesis (water splitting) directly determines the availability of H+ ions (protons) in a plant. 90% of water is for cooling of photosynthetic apparatus the other 10% is split for its H+ among others things. Carbon sugars, like glucose, do oxidize in soil through a process primarily driven by microorganisms, which break down these sugars for energy. This oxidation converts the sugars into carbon dioxide (CO2) through cellular respiration, a key part of the soil carbon cycle, though some carbon may also be incorporated into soil organic matter. The rate and extent of sugar oxidation depend on factors like oxygen availability, the presence of Fe oxides, and soil redox conditions, which can all influence the process. My understanding of why we flush. Just plain water, what does it do? Strips the medium of salts and nutrients making it empty. What does that do? Triggers nutrient recycling within the plant. What's nutrient recycling? It is a natural part of plant senescence, which can be triggered once you know the switches. A 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen ratio will also trigger. Why won't it trigger autophagy for me? Nitrogen needs to be gone, gone, gone almost. Ammoniacal (organic) nitrogen takes 4-5 times more water to separate it from soil particles than nitrates so what happens is most people jist flush the nitrates, leave all the ammoniacal in there and this prevents autophagy initiating. Nitrogen decays differently depending on its form during the dry. Ammoniacal nitrogen will oxidize in the air, leaving no trace. But nitrates do no decay and turn volatile and smelly and remain trapped until smoked, no matter how long you cure it does not oxidize. This is why you need to trigger it and begin the denitrification process prior to harvest to get rid of all the nitrates. Otherwise, you will smoke it. Flush till autophagy begins, just make sure you add no nitrogen afterwards. Micronutrients for trichomes. Don't leave the medium empty for 2 weeks, that does nothing but reduce yield 10%ish. Trichomes are another thing. Trichomes themselves are not directly affected by flushing; rather, flushing affects the plant's nutrient uptake, which influences the development and final state of the trichomes. Trichomes are filled with antioxidants in the last weeks, which is what makes them cloudy. A lot of the processing of antioxidants requires energy and nutrients (mostly micronutrients ), so you don't want that soil empty for 2 weeks, you just want the carbon nitrogen ratio 24:1and no higher. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work. Oxygen is the alchemist's "fire"

Its finally harvest day.

I switched nutes preemptively but we are back to veg(terp tea grow 711) for atleast one more week, maybe 2 to account for her stretching. 5/3/24 She’s stacking bud sites. She’s so much more squat than I thought. She’s like stiff and wants to just grow upright. I wanna grow this plant without training, I bet she would be beautiful.

Week 10 - 1/3 -1/10 1/4 - update - not sure what to do next. my feeding schedule only has 10 weeks of feed so i might flush with water for last 2 weeks until it is ready to go? **i think the deficiencies are either Maganese or something im not sure .... i think i should add some cal mag to my feed but i didnt want to go "rambo" mode just yet with this being my first grow i wanted to stick to the gameplan. going forward i might cowboy up a little more because i didnt realize that the food chart was more of a guide and then depending on what the plant tells you - you adjust appropriately... but whatever live and learn . PPMS havent really gone over 500 during the whole grow either so i think i got some room to work with.... people said they use 3ML of CalMag the entire flower stage. flower ppm should be 1000 and veg between 600 and 800 .... ill try that moving forward

Fed once this week with a weak feed including top max. I use kombucha vinegar as pH down. Water from my tap is ph6.8-7.0 and 38-42ppm so I might start using calmag supliment as the ppm at my old house used to come out of the tap at ph7. 2 and 200-220ppm. I had 2 plants that didn't like the light at 30000 lux and started bleaching so I took them out. I've defoliated today day 35 as humidity was getting over 80% and also to let light to the lower bud sights. Pre flower pistils showed on some plants around day 33 (some still have none) so I'll consider this the end of veg start of flower. The kalimist indica pheno is still not showing pre flower pistils but is always hard to force flowering when it's not mature for some reason. It's always 7-14 days behind everything else 🤔
