Not a lot to report. Growth is slow as they must be in veg for another 7 weeks till they can go into the flower room. Defoliating as I see leaves blocking tops. Closely monitoring. PPMs are around 500-700. Rinsed the root base of both plants. Have been flushing the past 2 weeks hence the yellow and purple leaves. Chopping her down right after this photo shoot. Probably get 14-20 grams dry, but not bad for a solo cup auto with pretty quality buds. Stem has been green the whole time— so she’s healthy. The smell is an earthy pine cone. Easy peezy with dynomyco! ✌️💚🌿💨

Last week plants were looking super healthy and responded very well to the second topping so I decided to flip the light schedule few days later. They already started stretching and the smell is noticeably enhanced.

Decided to give this one another go. Changes in setup: fresh compost, ph balanced with balanced water before I even placed the seed. Propagation dome to keep the humidity up. So today I did a thing Juan will no longer be an outdoor plant as such i have made a hidden garden check out the video Planning on topping at node 5, then LST up until last 2 weeks of flower with minimum defoliation as we go We have life new pictures from days 3/4 Now lives in the grow room

Very good week for the Jelly Rancher plant. The JR plant went from 3 inches to 6-1/2 inches. So 3.5 inches of growth this week...not too bad. No issues so far 😬. I pruned the plant just a little this week, took of the first, second and third set of leaves off. Not any branches just the leaves. The second and third set of leaves just get in the way...get covered in soil as they grow and not really all that useful so I just get them out of the way. Onto week 4 😁.

Gave both these girls approx 46 hours darkness before the chop but wish I hadn't. All it did was cause all the sugar leaves to dry out and make the trim so much more work haha!

Day 37 - Hitting the ladies with a little LST. My cloner project took a bit of a backseat to life, so I'm a little late in the game to top these babies.... So I decided I'm going to do something I have never done before.... Let these plants grow naturally. Yeah, you read that right, I've never let a plant just grow out without some sort of fun training technique. Even my very first grow was riddled with aggressive plant shaping. This time will be different! This time I will be just doing some very basic LST to open up their branches to more light. I went in and stripped some of the inner growth sites that would have produced nothing but popcorn buds being so hidden from light. I then created anchor points around the grow bags by pushing toothpicks through the holes in the mesh. I like this because it gives me the ability to easily move around anchor points by simply sliding out the toothpicks and moving them where I please. I got the idea from seeing someone else use pushpins once, but I didn't have any on hand. And so, the toothpick hypothesis was born, and so far its working very well! Both ladies look much happier now that they're getting more light to their branches. The leaves on these Blazin' Skywalker plants are just so effing fat that they've been doing a solid job at blocking light to the branches. I tried doing some leaf tucking early on, but the branches just weren't quite long enough for me to properly tuck the leaves behind them and would constantly come un-tucked. Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by. The start of this journal is a little overdue, but real life gets in the way sometimes and I kept having to delay. I initially had planned to run the Samsquanch OG strain from Mephisto and had even started a journal, but I had some issues starting off and the seeds just didnt take well for whatever reason. I tried to germinate my last 4 of those seeds after the originals failed, but only 1 came up. Still cant figure out what went wrong, but instead of waiting and ordering new seeds I decided to pop these freebies that they game me and the girls had absolutely zero issues and are off to a great start! I transplanted into the net pots on 10/20 (Day 4) after some nice long roots came out. I top fed for a few days until my roots were reaching down through the net pots. Everything is running pretty optimal thus far! Light is set about 40inches away 40% power right now. Daytime Temp is 78f and night is around 72-73f. RH is 62-65% EC 0.5

Quick update just to upload some photos, but unfortunately I don't have many relevant news to report. Leaves are yellowing, but I can't understand if it's senescence or lack of nutrients. Since she's not gonna finish within the next 2 weeks, next week I'll add some nutrients in low dosage, which shouldn't be a problem since the runoff is more or less 250 PPMs. This week there are some videos too! 🎥 Day 136: 9L of tap water (PH 6.5). Runoff: PH 6.8, 256 PPMs. Day 139: 9L of tap water (PH 6.5). Runoff: PH 6.7, 245 PPMs.

Starting week 7 in heat. What a weather ! 30°C ! But how are they pretty despite that hot temperature 💋 They are soldiers ! They will be the best of all time, they will beat that heat 💪💪💪 They will stay strong and elegant until Harvest. No one will defeat these Gorilla and Pineapple flowers. Light everywhere, excellent bio nutrients and CO2 against this dark weather. This will be the weapons of my plants. LET'S FIGHT !!!!🤝

My biggest mistake of this grow was using peat pots (pictured above) for the seedlings. They are advertised as though they are to be put right in the ground. Unfortunately, they don't decompose fast enough. This bound the roots and made for a very stunted grow. I finally tore them off and put the plants directly in the soil and things have improved dramatically. I used them last spring for my vegetable garden and had horrible results. I assumed it was a soil problem. Now, I know the pots were the issue. The big news this week is the soil. Two of my plants are in the Coast of Maine Stonington Blend. The third plant is in Fox Farm Ocean Forest. The two in the Coast of Maine Stonington Blend look so much better than the Fox Farm Ocean Forest Plant.
