What a fun experience! This was my first time trying a mixed grow style of synthetics and organic. I think I may have found my new go-to strategy. This definitely wasn't a perfect run by any means - as a matter of fact, I botched the feedings earlier in her life. However this grow definitely taught me a lot more about how to treat this strain properly. Now I'm running her clones in the 3x3x6. So the legacy will continue! FastBuds - Gelato Auto x 1 Dry Weight - 2 ounce and 20.73 gram I can definitely see an increase in weight and yield from doing the mainlining technique I would normally get around 1.7 oz of an auto If I hadn't done any training and not lollypopped and defoilated the plant. Highly recommend this method to avoid clutter , little popcorn nugs and messy plants. I thought I lost a plant to herm but I could have been wrong as I seen a diary on here that looked very similar to the one I Isolated and it turned out OK. Smoked that one already and didn't hear any popping or cracking of seeds so she could have gone longer but I didn't wanna risk other plants turning. Nugs are rock solid! Gassy lemony smell! Chance Of A Lifetime Greenhouse Seeds Wonder Pie Week 7 18th June 2020 Okay so I will start off with the good part of the week so as not to shock you too much..... Last week I mentioned how I needed to "feed" the Living soil I'm growing in and this week I got stuck into it I did a run of worm tea straight from my worm farm. I then filled the bucket with rainwater and added in some Blackstrap Molasses (Vid 1) Then in went some Greenhouse Feeding "Enhancer" and Seaweed solution Then once that was all mixed in I added some "Dr Greenthumbs High Tea" and threw in a few airstones and starting the bubbling process which will take aprox 48 hours. The Purpose of this Byodynamic "TEA" that I'm brewing is to provide essential microbial feeds to the living organisms within my soil in the form of natural sugars and starches etc. I also chopped up a fresh piece of Aloe vera and let it soak in a bit of water for a few days that I was planning on feeding to the Girls............ Now for the Part that is both upsetting to me and to be honest very bloody Disapointing!! 😠 Two of the three Wonder Pie Plants have Lots of Male Balls developing and are Fucking useless hermoprodites 💩 The 3rd Plant so far has no sign of Pollen sacks developing but if it Does then all of my hard work to date will be for Zip because I will be pulling it up just like I did to the other two 😢 So there you have it 7 weeks of Good growth not to mention Energy costs etc down the drain for those two plants and if the third one goes Hermie too I'll be out of the Running to win that trip to Amsterdam 😢 Because the other Female plant I have growing in the same tent (Dinafem Cheese) has not shown any signs of Hermie traits I'm putting this one down to VERY unstable and unreliable genetics so if you are growing this strain Wonder Pie keep a good eye on it once flowering has been initiated as I got lucky and saw them early but if left to grow unnoticed just one rogue pollen sack could seed your entire crop with unusable hermophroditic shit seeds . Just in case I get lucky and the final plant stays Fully Female , I went ahead and added in 30grams of the Bio Bloom Mix to her soil and watered it in . Well thats my story for the week Not the one I was wanting to tell but shit happens and it happens to me on a regular basis 😖 If I dont update again from here you will know that it went hermie and got destroyed . 31.12.24: I have been readjusting the LST pegs and wire daily. Sometimes, twice a day! (I know, too much time on my hands)! 😆 The plants have responded fantastically! I'm so glad I gave it a go. Some plants have been a bit too tall, and I snapped Do-sì-dos P3, pulling the stem down. Audibly snapped 😬I let it be, though. It seems to have healed mostly, in only 2 days. I have increased the lighting to 70%. They're getting watered a few times a week, with 1 litre of Dechlorinated water, containing the following nutrients and additives; 1ml of Biobizz Bio-Grow, 1ml Biobizz Top Max, 1ml of Biobizz Bloom, 2ml of cal-mag, 1g of Ecothrive Biosys. The plants are responding well to this concoction, so it's all good so far. The leaves are looking greener and are getting darker. Will be monitoring to continue readjusting the LST ties. Also, to monitor the increased lighting level, to make sure they can handle that yet. 1.1.25: Happy New Year! I have continued to readjust the LST wire and plant pegs. Several times a day. Coincidence would have it, I have a 6ft tropical aquarium which was time for cleaning! I always water my Acer tree in the front yard with this water, with beautiful results 😍 👌 🍁 I decided to try it out in my indoor garden. I'll post photos of before and after to see the difference, good or bad 😅 3.1.25: Plants are doing very well, except for PPP3 I'm quite disappointed in that one, as I feel like it's wasting a space. I guess I'll have to keep it, along with the Do-sì-dos that I snapped twice, which refuses to die 😅 I started to lightly defoliate, which is difficult because I always get carried away with it. I'm going to water again with the nutrients in description of this week. 4.1.25: Continuing to defoliate and adjust the LST pegs and wire. Watered today with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0. With the following nutrients;- 2ml Biobizz Bloom, 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow, 2ml Cal-Mag, 2ml Ecothrive Flourish, 0.2 g/ltr of Ecothrive Biosys. I've increased the Nitrogen by adding double the amount of Biobizz Bio-Grow. I'm trying to keep them growing for as long as possible! They are moving quickly these days! I’m using FF nutrients, then just water, then a mixture of molasses, recharge, and epsom salt, and then water again. Not sure if I’m overdoing it but they seem happy.
