Most of the week was spent setting up the hydro grow. Needed to build a DIY chiller since air temp in our grow room is hot, and water needs to be a good deal colder. Fridge from kijiji, garden hose, fittings, and submersible pump all in were under $100 but knowing what I know now I'd likely go with a thermoelectric chiller (DIY, with power supply and temp controller) next time around. Looking forward to tracking metrics and seeing how it goes :). Seems there's a lot of contradiction in terms of level of nutrients recommended, max water temperature, using H2O2 to boost water temp that can keep algae and rot at bay, etc. Got my hands on some Hydroguard via Amazon... despite local shops saying you can't get it in Canada... so I'm going to go with that instead of H2O2 to start, despite water temp getting up above 21 C (70 f) during the day. Fingers crossed. Update - keeping water reservoir tank under 20 C now by using reflective bubble wrap insulation on the reservoir itself and pipe insulation as well. It's a 10 C difference from the room temp, so I'm SUPER pleased with that.

Good week, soft transplanted just done. From 4.5 inch pots to 5 gallon pots. So far so good. I've had some great results with FastBuds genetics on previous grows, hopefully all goes well

6th week I did burn her a bit and she got some lives with small yellow points Need to cut the newtz dark green color is normal for this strain did flush with water ph The flowers are like ltte roses smell like spicy peppery Hard to describe I think she will be ok I will take the led away can’t handle the heat

The trichomes on the Runtz are all milky and I'm getting some amber on the sugar leaves, I think the end is near 😁 The G13 is looking great and smelling wonderful, the buds are getting heavier and same for the GDP

Good thing about this final stretch is that the bud sites are growing along with the stretch. Glad I stopped giving her grow nutes or else she could be stretching even more. Every 10 days or so I feed them with only water and enzymes to help out with the roots. Funky smell is starting to come out. Isn't that strong yet but it's nice. OG Kush type of smell. Everything has gone really well up till now , She is start too show the beginning of pre flower , I wasn't expecting that for a couple of weeks so not sure if this is normal ? But she is growing fast and strong , I picked of a few select large leaves that where coving the side branches , but very minimal , mabey one or two leaves of each plant , and also pulled down the branches too help with light getting down into the center of the girl ,

I can recommend White Widow from seedsman. This auto plants gets loads of stress from LST, HST, topping, lollipoping, scrog And what's the most important think they finish on time! Great plants, great yeld, great stuff couldn't be better 💪

Start of week 2 🌱🍁 Unfortunately some poor advice led to a nutrient overload. 350-400 ppm is far to much for a seedling so back to 150 for a other week until I start adding tarantula. Chopped on day 133 - trichomes look swollen and ready - leaves faded out. Cut this according to the biodynamic moon gardening calendar and the dates did seem to align with the plant aromatics being more noticeable. Very excited to do the smoke report on this one - focusing on 60% humidity @ 60 degrees for 21 days to retain terpenes and quality.

The plant has become a real monster. I expected it to be stretched for another 4 to 5 days. But it has stopped growing and is now producing flowers. I used the vegitative fertilizer again for the nutrient solution. In a few days she will receive a nutrient solution for the flowers and then I'm very excited. The treatment with BAC was very successful

12/4/23-moving to flower. I have been doing LST, just put a screen on it to scrog. 12/5/23 - started new flower recipe and 12 hour light schedule 12/10/23 - has been in flower for almost a week; I have been putting 160ml of nutrients in am & pm, along with adding 24ozs of new water, ph running slightly low at 5.64. A little burns on some tips but looks healthy over all. Still not a tall plant, but short and bushy for sure. When do I see buds forming ? She is looking good! Weather has been a huge factor in this grow! Literally in one week I have been experiencing high winds, temps that are swinging 30+ degrees, and humidity from rain at 100% to 50%. Tough plant! ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

She continues to thrive under the unpredictable UK skies — basking in sunlight one moment, then embracing gentle showers and cloud cover the next. There’s something magical about seeing her adapt so effortlessly to nature’s rhythm without any artificial boost or intervention. Today marks her 60th day, and she’s standing proud at around 80cm, now fully settled into her flowering phase. In celebration, I gently sprinkled three teaspoons of Plagron Bat Guano over the soil — a natural phosphorus-rich kick to support vigorous flower development and promote dense bud formation in the coming weeks. It’s a subtle but effective way to stimulate her floral energy without disrupting the soil’s microbial harmony. Visually, she’s starting to reveal her potential. Bud sites are forming nicely, with promising pistil clusters at every top. The deep green foliage, wide open to catch every ray of sunlight, signals balanced nutrition, strong roots, and a resilient phenotype. No signs of stress from fluctuating weather or wind exposure, which speaks volumes about the Fast Buds genetics powering this grow. This grow has been all about minimal input — just clean, pH-balanced tap water and a homemade super soil blend. No tents, no artificial lights, no pampering.
