The Afghan #1 has received her final defoliant. At the end of week six she is 78 cm tall. Has put on significant weight with the calyxes fully swollen now emerging into bud formation. Leaves fading yellowing. Stem growth slow paced. She will be fed water and molasses until harvest.

Absolutely ridiculous growth coming from Lois on the right. Megan struggled her whole life and I couldn't figure out the issue so I took her out of the hydroton and found she was massively tangled. I freed her and transplanted to soil in my room to give her another shot at life!

For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Was bummed out plant got red mites at the end but that’s fine, it didn’t not impact the grow (or at least I didn’t notice.) Harvested at the end of the 6th week of flower. Trichomes had already started turning amber due to heat degradation (couch lock party) what trichomes that were not dust ridden or amber was milky so I’d say it’s ready. Choosing the best time to harvest is still puzzling for me due to the fact that this is my 4th time harvesting cannabis. Thanks for reading... more info to come ...TBC

I think it's day 38 flower...getting cold out and they're getting frosty😊...the bagseed gg4 is really stacking, I'll have to get pics next time I water. One pheno of the gelato is lookin like a winner but the other 3 not so much lol. They don't look too stable, all 4 fem seeds are all different phenos lots of variation so black skull has some wrk to do. But for tha price it's ok I guess. Punch the cake and sticky dreams are all winners. Both punch the cake phenos smell like blueberry and grape muffins with vanilla cake and it's OVERPOWERING! I love it. My type of strain I can tell. The blue og is going crazy too. I'll have to get pics next water also. She is looking like the most productive, buds literally everywhere and she is in a 7gal pot so hopefully a half pound at least🙏🏾

As you'll read below one of these was tossed, the better looking one in fact so only 1 remains right now. Hopefully this one doesnt turn too. Aight so the other day I found another hermie in the very early stages. So I emptied the tent and sat in there in the pitch black for 15 minutes to let my eyes adjust looking for anywhere light could get in. Because I have 2 veg tents in the same room on 19 hr schedules it's impossible for me to have the room the tent is in be pitch black. There was no leaks in the fabric but the air vents at the bottom, even tho I only have 3 open a little bit, let in the slightest amount of light. I had to toss out a mandarin cookies R1V2, a bwiz x Rocberry and a gushers. I found a male flower on a Hawaiian snow x wc x g33 on a lower but instead of tossing it I removed all the lowers and am going to check daily to see if its aight or not. I ordered a ac infinity 4 inch fan, some light proof ducting and a intake carbon filter to be able to set up a intake and close the vents. Very little pollen may have dropped which could seed everything but I might have found it just in time we will see. I almost retired on the spot but I'll give the intake fan a shot as a last ditch effort. Otherwise I would have to remove the veg tents or have intake fans and no open vents for all tents. On day 1 week 2 flower the Gals are really stretching now, hope I have enough room 😂They seem to be taking the flower nutes well even without a transition phase 😀. On day 3 the gals have stretched so much they are within 6 in of my light hoping The stretch will slow down soon yikes 😱. I defoliated the lower and upper canopy to bring in more light and air flow. On day 6 the stretch seems to be slowing down. I increased my light intensity from 75% to 100% to see if I can halt anymore stretching. I also bent my highest colas down as they were touching the grow light 😂. On day 7 flower clusters are forming and the stretch has slowed. I will continue to bend over the tallest colas and do my best to manage the canopy without too much loss of yield. It looks like some of my colas might get light stressed/burnt. There is not much else I can do except learn from my mistakes...next time I would flip the plants earlier and give them stronger light intensity before flowering stretch. The top leaves are canoeing so I reduced light intensity back to 75% to see if they improve. I got my first clog in my blumat systems main line... I will be switching to liquid based fertilizers for the next run as I believe my fertilizer caused the clog. I released the clog by using a pipette filled with water. I took the pipette and squeezed liquid through the main line exiting my reservoir. Then the lines were running smooth 😂
