Things are going pretty well. Running out of headroom so I may have to rig my light a bit higher before long. The buds are starting to fatten up and in seeing more trichromes each week.

Girls got topped this week. I decided to only top once due to the herming last time. But they are growing well after the transplant last week. I'm happy with the growth and we'll look to flip in about three weeks. That'll put trim time around Christmas which I have off.

2nd net is up. Early bud formations are promising. holding up to the extremes pretty well, some leaves taking minor damage, but overall, she is holding up, gave her 1 night at 50F see how she would react, stressful. Not advised as it messes with her metabolism, but I want to see if it triggers any anthocyanin response. Love to see her purp up but no signs yet. Remember, For every molecule of glucose produced during photosynthesis, a plant needs to split six molecules of water. This process provides the hydrogen needed for synthesizing glucose and other organic compounds, while oxygen is released as a byproduct. Homework. If Rubisco activity is impaired and it cannot properly function or regenerate its substrate, the plant's leaves are likely to turn a pale green or lime green, a condition known as chlorosis. Essentially, Rubisco activity is highly regulated and susceptible to various environmental and metabolic factors that can cause it to become inhibited, leading to an apparent failure in RuBP regeneration due to a lack of consumption. Rubisco regeneration is intrinsically linked to nitrogen supply because Rubisco is a major sink for nitrogen in plants, typically accounting for 15% to over 25% of total leaf nitrogen. The regeneration phase itself consumes nitrogen through the synthesis of the Rubisco enzyme and associated proteins (like Rubisco activase), and overall nitrogen status heavily influences the efficiency of RuBP regeneration. RuBisCO is a very large enzyme that constitutes a significant proportion (up to 50%) of leaf soluble protein and requires large investments in nitrogen. Maintaining the optimal, slightly alkaline pH is crucial for the proper function and regeneration of Rubisco. Nitrogen Storage and Remobilization: Rubisco can act as a temporary nitrogen storage protein, which is degraded to remobilize nitrogen to other growing parts of the plant, especially under conditions of nitrogen deficiency or senescence. Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE): The allocation of nitrogen to Rubisco is a key determinant of a plant's photosynthetic nitrogen use efficiency (PNUE). In high-nitrogen conditions, plants may accumulate a surplus of Rubisco, which may not be fully activated, leading to a lower PNUE. Optimizing the amount and activity of Rubisco relative to nitrogen availability is a target for improving crop NUE. Photorespiration and Nitrogen Metabolism: Nitrogen metabolism is also linked to the photorespiration pathway (which competes with carboxylation at the Rubisco active site), particularly in the reassimilation of ammonia released during the process. To increase RuBisCO regeneration, which refers to the process of forming the CO2 acceptor molecule Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate (RuBP) during photosynthesis, the primary methods involve optimizing the levels and activity of Rubisco activase (Rca) and enhancing the performance of other Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzymes. While other divalent metal ions like Mn2+ can bind to Rubisco, they alter the enzyme's substrate specificity and lead to dramatically lower activity or a higher rate of the non-productive oxygenation reaction compared to Mg2+, making them biologically unfavorable in the context of efficient carbon fixation. The concentration of Mg2+ in the chloroplast stroma naturally increases in the light due to ion potential balancing during ATP synthesis, providing a physiological mechanism to ensure the enzyme is activated when photosynthesis is possible. At the center of the porphyrin ring, nestled within its nitrogen atoms, is a Magnesium ion (Mg2+). This magnesium ion is crucial for the function of chlorophyll, and without it, the pigment cannot effectively capture and transfer light energy. Mg acts as a cofactor: Mg2+ binds to Rubisco after an activator CO2 molecule, forming a catalytically competent complex (Enzyme-CO2-Mg2+). Mg deficiency becomes limiting: If Mg2+ is deficient under these conditions, the higher levels of Rubisco and Rubisco activase produced cannot be fully activated, leading to lower photosynthetic rates and potential photo-oxidative damage. Optimal range: Studies show that adequate Mg2+ application can enhance Rubisco activation and stabilize net photosynthetic rates under stress conditions, but the required concentration is specific to the experimental setup. Monitoring is key: The most effective approach in a controlled environment is to monitor the plant's physiological responses e.g., leaf Mg2+ concentration, photosynthetic rate, Rubisco activation state, and adjust the nutrient solution/fertilizer to maintain adequate levels, rather than supplementing a fixed "extra" amount. In practice, this means ensuring that Mg2+ is not a limiting factor in the plant's standard nutrient solution when pushing the limits with high light and CO2. Applying Mg2+ through foliar spray is beneficial to Rubisco regeneration, particularly in alleviating the negative effects of magnesium (Mg) deficiency and high-temperature stress (HTS). While Mg can be leached from soil, within the plant it is considered a mobile nutrient, particularly in the phloem. Foliar-applied Mg is quickly absorbed by the leaves and can be translocate to other plant parts, including new growth and sink organs. Foliar application of: NATURES VERY OWN MgSO4 @ 15.0g L-1 in a spray bottle. For those high-intensity workouts when 1 meal a day is just not enough! Foliar sprays are often recommended as a rapid rescue measure for existing deficiencies or as a supplement during critical growth stages, when demand for Mg is high. Application in the early morning or late evening can improve absorption and prevent leaf burn. The plant was getting a little limey yellow in the centre. Shortly thereafter, she was back in business, green mostly regenerated. The starting point [of creativity] is curiosity: pondering why the default exists in the first place. Hola a todos los visitantes del jardín, hoy las nenas cumplen 15 días , el plantón que está deforme desde el principio continúa sin cambios , he aplicado vía foliar SAFER MIX que es una combinación de hongos benéficos , con esto me voy preparando para la flora , veo las plantas un poco amarillas asi que también se aplicó vía foliar green explosion de top crop para aportar nitrógeno , espero valla muy bien el aporte para empezar con fuerza el crecimiento , gracias por sus aportes al jardín

Las niñas se recuperaron muy rápidamente del transplante a su nuevo macetero . se ven bastantes vigorosas y con formaciones de resina en hojas grandes , su olor (se siente bastante agradable ) ya se esta empezando a notar en el cuarto. el panel led encuentro que les gusta mucho a las plantas se notan bastantes exitadas con la penetracion de luz que emite el equipo. The girls recovered very quickly from the transplant to their new pot, they look quite vigorous and with resin formations in large leaves, their smell (feels quite pleasant) is already beginning to be noticed in the room. the led panel I find that plants really like it, they are quite excited with the penetration of light emitted by the equipment,

Light Power increased from 50% to 70,height from plants Is 45cm (had to raise up light about 5cm) . Applied azos (with water irrigation). External temps are getting down and that's perfect since light Power Is increased ...temps are the same. One of the three mimosa cake was topped,another One i did LST and the others i decided to not touch. I decided to put light Power to 50 again and distance to 60 because distance from internodes are too close.I don't wanna touch plants ,less defoliation as i can because i'm doing some tests.

Hello Guys, after 36 Hrs got a really good tap roots on Lemoncheollo Haze and Bubba Kush its long too, So just planted them directly to grow medium, Both uses Homemade Compost+Coco Coir +PottingSoil, after plant seeds then I covers them with clear solo cups (which is no need now I know) like after 1 Day I got lucky with LH and BK also showing some sign, Everything is OK yesterday. But in the next morning (Today) i got LH going down and looking Yellow color, quickly I did a another DIY dome with small LED that i got from cheap seedling dome.. Now its almost evening i got more green on the cotyledons, and i covers it with some dirt around. After checking answers from fellow growers, I Immediately took out the Domes and used my P1000 Light using my Phone LUX meter i used 4000 LUX, like less than 25% dimming and the LED is bit in up, Maybe i am wrong there! pls advise ,I also place a mini USB oscillating fan there too I hope i am not bothering you guys.)) Thanks

Flowering is going amazing, this candy cane is growing some very fast weight and caking up with Trichome’s. The sweet and slightly minty berry smell is growing in power day by day, and I’m very happy with how the size of the buds are developing since adding the increase of 2-8-4 and fish bone meal, just a little bit, not too much at all and she’s reacting great, knowing that the candy cane is a larger auto in size makes me a bit sad with the total size of this plant, but in its young age as my very first auto I believe I probably stunted it, but after all this and how she looks now Im more than happy with the growth, yield and quality of it, just speaking now as I do not obviously know how much I Will revive from it, I’m guessing about a ounce. No small bud sites other than maybe one on a lower branch that already has a main top cola on it. The main cola is massive and packing on a lot of size. I’ve switched the light to a hour less now as I am growing 2 photo indica L.A grape and with the season change I am having to fix my temp and humidity more for the photos, so changing to a 17-7 schedule has actually helped quite a lot and also has helped my other autos veg slightly better. But all in all I’m very exited!
