Everything seems to be going well. Growing a little slow but thats ok for now. I only have 1 tent and these are just chilling in my dj room for now. I accidently separated one of the new growth tips from the stem slightly but I have no fear that it won't heal.

I'm putting 3 plants into scrog net. Would it be best to keep these topped to produce 4 mains so I can spread them evenly sideways as opposed to the way I normally top for 8 mains? In a 4×4 tent.

4-6 tops per plant would fill that canopy nicely.

Soni broke a branch almost clean off. Seems to be healing up nicely. I taped it up and the little lady seems to be growing vigorously still. I opted to let this one heal a bit longer before topping and defoliating it.

These grew a little taller than I wanted them to be at this point so I have some serious training to do. I look at this as a blessing in disguise. Gives me a chance to really get them spreading out before adding them into the scrog net. I have 1 of the 3 plants growing with very little training as an experiment on yield.

One plant is lagging behind due to the beating I gave the stems after topping. Hoping they will be nice and strong at least.

Flipped the ladies this past Sunday. I left one in the veg room to grow a bit more before I flip it as it's lagging behind.

I noticed some droopy, curly ,twisty leaves and decided to do a pour thru soil test. The runoff was almost 4000ppm. Panicked and flushed until reading around 1000ppm. Will pickup feeding schedule next week when they dry out a bit. Hope I made the right choice

The one plant is still very droopy. It hasn't completely dried out from the flush last week. I have been giving them light feedings in order to try and get some nutes into em. I found a very bizarre leaf mutation where a leaf is growing out of another leaf. Weird dude..

Grow Questions

Urgent!! Help needed! My leaves on one plant are turning purple and not looking great. I can't seem to narrow it down. I was planning on a kelp foliar spray but read not to do it past 2 weeks of flower. Anybody know what to do? I'm at a loss and don't wanna throw nutes at her

Your nighttime temps are almost low enough to cause this coloration. My one plant on its older leaves had this as well but it was more dramatic as it was exposed to ever lower temps. If your night times temps never get below 16c then that's a different question n' story. But the rest of your plant is looking very healthy. Cold breaks down chlorophyll and allows anthocyanins to become dominant, this is why you see the purple ish hues. Don't sweet this. and if you truly don't like it, keep them a bit warmer at night. Happy Growing!

In regards to my previous question I also found some leaves like this towards the bottom... phosphorus maybe?

So I just finished reviewing your other question with this plant. Phosphorous deficiency does cause leaves to look like that, but it also slows the growth of the whole plant down and newer leaves will be very tiny. Looking at your diary the new growth is coming in strong and the plant does not look to be getting stunted. It appears in the one leaf that it was moving the nitrogen out of the leaf and it got blushed from the cold weather like in the other question. Its ok for plants to loose some of the leaves, in nature a lot of them would have been eaten by bugs or shit ripping them off like starlings, the crack head bird. I hate them, they eat so much of my garden in the spring, POS they are. As for feeding them, check out the feed charts provided by NPK industries. Just ensure they are getting what they need. https://www.npkraw.com/pages/feed-charts = Canada site https://npk-industries.com/pages/feed-charts = USA site Your doing good, Keep It Up and Happy Growing.

So the power went out due to city power failure 6 hrs into the light cycle for the day. That was fun. Buds have started to put on some size, so thats great! We were also in the longest deep freeze where I live in 50 years so the basement ( grow room) got really cold... especially during the power outage. Leaves are showing purple due to ( what I believe) cold temps. Maybe the outtage actually helped them because since then they really started packing it on. Very nervous about the possibility of herming because of what happened but i am keeping a close eys on things.

The buds have been bulking up massively over the last week. So far no signs of hermaphroditism due to stresses caused by power outages.. I'm looking forward to the future with this run.

The smell is unreal. They're are starting to get impressively chunky. The one plant I feel may not have a chance to live up to its full potential because the leaves were really hit hard by the cold snap a few weeks ago. They turned purple and it's now fading fast compared to the other 2. We shall see, won't we fellow growers?

Working on flushing the ladies with purified water. This go around I'm trying the ice flush method. Still unclear if it's doing anything to boost trichome head size as anticipated. Water absorption by the plants has definitely slowed. I'm gonna say it's likely from the microbes forgetting to bring a sweater, but I'm not a scientomologist

I'm certain I could have waited a few days but I was tired of waiting, and the tops were starting to foxtail. The nugs seem nice and dense and are emitting an incredible smell.
