Progress and Observations In week 6 of flowering, my plants are displaying significant development. The buds are swelling noticeably, and resin production is increasing, filling the grow area with a rich aroma. Weather Conditions and Plant Health Unfortunately, the weather in Germany has turned to consistent rain over the next five days, which is less than ideal for the final growth phase. To protect the plants, I've moved them into the greenhouse full-time. This controlled environment shields them from adverse weather conditions, ensuring stable conditions for continued growth. Pest Management I'm pleased to report minimal pest issues thus far. Nightly patrols continue to manage the snail population effectively, supported by lettuce leaf traps. There have been no signs of spider mites, aphids, or thrips, providing relief. With the ongoing rainy weather, I remain vigilant against potential snail problems. Low-Stress Training (LST) Update The plants I trained with LST have responded positively and continue to develop well. I did some more LST to maximize light to the colas. The canopy remains even, and the bud sites are receiving ample light, allowing for a slight upward stretch to maximize bud growth during these final weeks of flowering. I try not to cut off any fan leaves because I think they're here for a reason. I like to tug them behind the steam or the side branches. Only if the leaves show significant signs of illness or pest then I remove them. Looking Ahead As we move further into the flowering stage, my focus will be on maintaining optimal conditions to maximize bud development and resin production. I am also diligently monitoring the humidity levels in the greenhouse, as this is crucial for preventing mold growth. The plants are looking promising, and I’m excited to see how they progress in the coming weeks. Update 03.07 What is noticeable is that both untrained plants are entering the full flowering mode faster than the trained ones. Have you had similar experiences? Update 05.07 Today I checked the girls and found the Banana purple punch with the top leaves starting to curl down. After asking the community I found out that everything looks like a starting nitrogen toxicity. But only on that plant. Seems kind of strange that the others having no issues at all despite having the same amount of nutes. I decided to treat the symptoms a once so I flushed with 5l PH water. The first runoff was a little lower (5.5 / EC 1.09) but not really concerning. Afterwards I give the plant the half amount of the tripart flowering scheme (with added CalMag 2 ml/l PH 6.2). Hello! For this setup i´ll use Optic 1 XL in a 80cmx80cm tent, (indoor grow), with temperature, humidity and air flow controled... Have heard great things about Real Cookies and now it´s time to grow it! Have successfully germinated 2 seeds out of 2 using the easy start kit from RQS, 100 % rate! (made a DIY box and used the wireless router to keep it warm) Notice this seeds have sprouted in less than 48h it´s a personal record to me! I´m using Janeco light mix and prepared the soil with the the easy boost organic nutrition before reporting the seedlings... It´s time to turn on the lights and let the mother nature do the magic!

Brand new amnesia punch Zamnesia and ripper seeds collaboration have made a never to forget strain! There was only 500 so I got me one and germinated a seed to add to my photo tent so I could be one of the first to test and try it! Started in a glass of water for 48hrs then onto paper towel for 24hrs then potted! I am running them in 12L of soil, I have also put Co2 bags into the tent too

Meanwhile, the remaining ladies are marching toward their own finish lines. Gorilla Z #1 - HARVESTED! 🎉 She's down! After weeks of growth, recovery from overwatering, and pushing through to the end, this girl finally got the chop. Trichome Check: Mostly cloudy/milky (peak THC production ✓) A few amber trichomes starting to show Minimal clear trichomes Harvest Timing: Honestly? I was in a rush—ran out of flower to smoke! 😅 But the trichomes were in a good window, so it worked out. Sometimes necessity makes the decision for you. Could've waited for more amber for a heavier effect, but she was ready enough. What's Next: Drying phase begins now Aiming for slow dry (60°F, 60% humidity if possible) Then comes the cure—patience will be tested again! The Relief: Finally got some homegrown coming down the pipeline. The timing couldn't be better! Gorilla Z #2 - End of Month Finish She's still chugging along in mid-to-late flower. Based on her current progression, she should be ready by the end of the month. Beginning of week 7 in flower, only two more weeks left if they ripen like they did last time. Plants are beginning to smell, develop triches and fattening up. They're not going to get any taller but compared to my first grow they're double in size. It's getting really intense. I'm in there every day checking humidity (on the no defol side) and I'm starting to struggle keeping up with the feed. During lights off I've found the plants eat the most food. I topped up the res, added 25% more PK. I try to keep the plants at 700 ppm and in the space of four hours it dropped to 600 ppm (towards the end of lights off). I stopped directly loading with Calcium Nitrate and instead used a regular calmag. I'm about to go overboard with Calcium Nitrate again and bump the ppm up to 1k. Will see how far the ppm drops the next day. 17/02/20 Update: The plants are beginning to smell a lot more, it has that kind of fermenting pungent smell from a red paw paw but applied to a mango. Very sweet, it literally smells like I'm growing some kind of tropical fruit. Still struggling with the feed, I added close to 40g of calcium nitrate and the plants still dropped the ppm lower than when I boosted it. I find it really frustrating that Dual Fuel only sell as a pair. Part 2 is amazing for late flower. Potassium sulphate and Magnesium sulphate, it's the perfect PK boost and I don't know anyone other nutrient like it. The other PK boosters always have too much P. 18/02/20 Update: Still battling my plants and the efforts to keep up with them is still frustrating me. Ran out of potassium Sulphate and bought Bio Diesel Rhino K 0-0-15 as a substitute, talk about expensive but I was desperate. 19/02/20 Update: Uploaded how I pump calcium into my plants this late into flower. They eat more than what I showed daily. That's 100+ ppm of Ca everyday! I don't know how much pectin this plant has now but the Brix would have to be through the roof compared to my first grow. 20/02/20 Update: finally got the feed right for a twelve hour period. I'm using two times the amount of K any bloom booster recommends and I'm probably using ten times the amount of calcium easily. I'm also going to feed as minimal N from now on, I'd cut it out completely if I could but I rely on Micros for the macro nutrients. Spent $65 on that bottle of potash and I used a third of a bottle for one nutrient change, think I'll stick to using powered water soluble potassium sulfate. My main concern is that I won't be providing enough iron with the little Micro I'm giving it. Going to throw a couple of rustry nails into the res. I'm about to do a top up...dropping the Micro super low, putting minimal part 2 in. Along with all the fulvics, humics, kelp and other acids my ppm only sits at 244. Which gives me plenty of room to load up on calcium. Top up the mag cause what was in the part 2 wasn't enough then load K. 21/02/20 Update: The plants finally stalled and took a breather yesterday. Didn't upload any photos cause it looked the same as the day before. By the end of the evening it looked like the explosive growth started back up again and the photos from today will show it. The ppm was creeping up not down this time...finally over feeding them. Dropped the extra loading of calcium and potassium to regular bloom phase levels and bumped the chelators up instead. Update 22/02/20: plants aren't eating what they were. Ppm is remaining stable at 800. I won't dilute the res just yet. Still holding off to see if it goes up again. If it goes down I'll refeed the same formula as last time that has reduced calcium and potassium.
