Day 66 - Day 21 of flower - Master kush First indoor grow. Lights 12-12/ PAR 900/ Day temp 23-27/ Night temp 19-22/ RH45%/ Co2 500ppm/ water Ph 6.5/ water ppm 1400 with technaflora nutes/ organic soil/ 7 gal pots/ 4-5l per 3 days for watering. Week 3 is done. The power went out for a day due to a hurricane. Kept the light cycle going with flashlights lol. Defoliated one final time on day 18. There hasn't been any stretch in 4 days. Ok, lets think about this logically - why are the leaves turning brown? it looks like a Calcium/Phosphorus issue, A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE THIS , is it a deficiency??? Unlikely in Hydro as the solution is more effective as there are no contaminants, so this leads me to believe its a lockout, what can cause this ? 2 things = A) Too Much Nutrient Potassium or B) ph is too low - SO to rectify this, i have added more water to the reservoir and raised the ph to 6.3 As i am using more water in the reservoir its entirely possible that when the water goes down,even though the EC stays the same the proportional concentrations of each nutrient can change - for example EC pen says 2.0 when i first fill with 20 litres, the plant drinks 4 litres of water and consumes lots of bloom A+B so when i put my pen in two days later the 16 litres of solution still reads 2.0 but there is a higher proportion of PK. Of course it could always be option C) these plants eat phosphorus for breakfast and need more ..😜 I have checked roots they all ok Wednesday- changed solution , made it slightly weaker EC 1.7 ph 6.2-3 Thursday I had a little chat on Instagram with mammoth , i think they might need less than usual Saturday - noticed some yellowing on the little plant , it’s a confusing as th3 other plants are all using the same nutrients and they are loving life , it might be the buckets , I am much preferring the size of the 35 litre ones , and the root structure is perfect , because the 45 litre boxes are more rectangular than square the roots are sort of sideways . Still waiting for some purple on the tall one 🤔 ITS VERY IMPORTANT IN DWC - Do not automatically think you need to add nutrients , in DWC it’s so much more efficient that less is more , 99% of the time it’s overdone it , normally the tips go brown first , but it’s some circumstance s The concentration can increase without you knowing , FIRST change solution with a little bit less , I usually go to 1.6-1.7 EC TOTAL and 6.3 ph that is a universal solution that provides enough without overdoing it . As I said in my video, triple check your measurements. I almost killed my girls for outside with some 3in1 canola oil for spider mite IPM. No matter how many years you have been gardening you can STILL make a mistake. Oh well one thing I have learned is to laugh these things off. Otherwise it will get you very pissed off and that is not the right energy to convey to your plants.

Week 10 (1/12-18) Day 65 (1/12) She's getting closer and closer. When I scope her, she's mostly cloudy, with just a few ambers scattered in. I'll check her again later in the week. Her pot was still fairly heavy this morning, so she's set for the day. Day 66 (1/13) She was ready for a drink today. I watered her with some molasses and Mammoth P added in, pH'd to ~6.5. When she's ready again, I'll feed her one last time then it will be water only (maybe some molasses) until I chop her. Day 68 (1/15) Well I put the little clip on microscope on my phone and checked her trichomes. To my surprise, there seems to be a good amount of amber now. I think I'm going to call it. I'll cut her lights today and give her 48 hours in the dark, so will chop her down on Sunday (day 70). I'll give her a big drink of cold water and put some ice around her stem when I shut her down. I dry in paper bags and my last plant dried pretty quickly, as I didn't give her any water for awhile before chopping. I'd rather have a longer drying period, so I will water her up before she goes into the dark. Her last feeding was day 62 (1/9), so I'm hoping it has been long enough to work the nutes out by the time she's done.

Not much to report from this week. More pistils came out every day. They're long and smell great. She drank half the res over the week but the pH and ppm stayed stable so I just left it. July 25 I took the duct tape off one of the stems that broke when my fan fell. It healed with a huge knuckle and looks great. One of the other big stems looks like it also has a big knuckle and is growing strong. Some of the smaller ones look like they've regained their integrity but didn't get a knuckle. They are all able to stand up straight now and the plant looks much happier. I'm leaving one wire support in place because of one of the thinner stems. July 27 I just noticed the upper leaves are a bit brittle. I should take it down and observe it more often I turned the fan to point away from the plant and the leaves recovered.

100% Germination it is

- LST continues by stretching the plant outwards. - Both plants continue to stretch. Lamp distance is at 45 cm now. - Soft Defoliation continues. I am trying to remove fan leaves shadowing potential bud sides. But still leaving outskirt fan leaves. A big defoliation and lollipopping will be applied end of 3rd week. - Light intensity is at 100% since 12.06. The heat is still manageable as the outside weather is still around 21 C during day and around 10 C at night (Plants day). - VPD fluctuated this week between 1.0 and 1.6 kPa , averaging at 1,32 kPa. I still manage to gradually increase the VPD. - Tent temperature is much more stabilized at 22 at night and 26 Celsius at day time, averaging at 23.6. Temp is a little lower than last week even with increased light intensity due to the cold weather in Berlin. Still didn't increase the exhaust fan speed. New plan is to increase it on 16th Jun when the outside weather temperature starts to increase. - Humidity fluctuated between 50-65% this week, averaging at 54.6%. I managed to decrease the humidity gradually week on week but there are huge spikes on rainy days. BonAura AirOne dehumidifier continues to collect around 200 ml of water per day which does not seem to have an huge impact over the humidity. - This week, I increased the water Ph as the medium Ph is still under 6 cruising around 5,8. Mid week, I watered with an higher PH of 7,6, followed by a watering of 6.8 Ph. This even did not increase the medium Ph as expected. - Started to see some yellowing on the tips of the 2 or 3 leaves which seems like a Potassium or Calcium deficiency but I believe that it is related to the PH of the medium. Still observing before making any major nutrient increase. - Added an extra 20 grams of BioBloom (GreenHouse Feeding) per pot this week as the planned Flowering cycle is 9 weeks.

A few more days

This week the plant was bended, and accidentally i broke a branch ... But she recovered well, she selected the other branches to grow just like in 2 h nothing could be done, but as you can see she is concentrating the growth in the other colas, so the structure is bended against the pot and with 3 main branches at the moment... Another little problem appeared when, 2 days after using Green Explosion in a half dose, i raised the Top Veg to 2.5 ml/l but she reacted bad and some overfertilization spots are apperaing in the tips of the leaves, im uploading it when the next week is complete... But dont worry is not too much overdose, just a little, (Its like she said thats the limit at the moment ) so after this, next 2 irrigations are being done with plain water to flush the soil... Im not using Micro Vita, but i gotta get that magic microbes to avoid this messy things, they muffle all this changes in PH !!! So next week, transplanting to definitive text pot, bacterian life and until the end :) But everything is fine this plant is soo strong and nothing cant stop her at the moment :D Take care GD !!

Reviewing the plants i noted some small dots on the leaves which looked like typical bites from mites, so i sprayed some spidermite and we placed around 6 spical ulti-mite bags to prevent any further damage, lets hope it dont get worse but i think I've detected them just on time 😁 For the rest the plants are looking good, the buds are getting bigger and more thc is being produced 😁 we still have around 4 weeks to go 😅
