This grow turned out to be quite a journey. Originally, this run was meant to be a simple between-grow project, something to keep the season going outdoors, without too much effort. But plans changed, and the Orange Sherbet ended up in the tent, where it took a completely different direction than expected. She grew big and strong early on, but the LST was tricky. she didn’t respond very well at first, and shaping her the way I wanted took a lot of time and patience. It was interesting to see how she stretched and filled out later, but overall, the structure stayed somewhat awkward to manage. Throughout the grow I struggled with CalMag and potassium balance. I tried several adjustments, sometimes with high CalMag doses, but it never fully stabilized. It’s still unclear if that came from the strain itself or from the BioBizz line, but it made the mid-to-late phase more difficult than I had hoped. The flowering time was also much longer than advertised. the breeder mentions around 9 weeks, but in reality this one took closer to 14–15 weeks total. What was supposed to be a quick side project turned into a long, demanding run. On the bright side, she delivered a very solid yield. a bit over 160 g of trimmed buds plus another 50 g of popcorn, well above 1 g/W. The aroma is lovely after 10 days of curing: creamy, with vanilla and a subtle orange note returning. However, the buds are airy, not as dense as I hoped. The effect and flavor are great, but visually it’s more on the average side. Even so, this grow was one of the most instructive I’ve done. I learned a lot about deficiency management, humidity control, watering and how far genetics and environment interact. Going forward, I’ll take a break from autos and focus on photoperiod strains again. I just prefer the control and predictability they offer. All in all: not my prettiest grow, but a very valuable one. About drying in dry ferm/dry age and regular drying: the material in the bags took a few days longer to dry which is said to be good (regular dry was 7 days, bags was 9 or 10). initially I think the buds from bags look better but now in curing I can't really tell a difference, not visually and not in the nose. Let's see how everything evolves over time but honestly I am not expecting it to differ a lot from regular drying.

Top dressed Asman and Asal with a tablespoon of Dr. Earth Bloom and 3 tbs of worm castings. Added terpinator, microbials and molasses to calmag'd water. Benesh got fed last week with the same load/mix and is doing great. No defoliation or much training early this week. Did some heavier defoliation on Sunday to give more of the bigger and higher buds space. Will make a TCHA tincture off of the defoliated buds, which I will add to later. Lovely mint and chocolate aromas on my fingers after the defoliation.

Day 43 12/08/24 Monday Feed today, it was warm again so they drank the whole 300ml each so I have topped up another 150ml to see run off to prevent salt build up. Bud development first week.. added some beneficial CO2 into the atmosphere.. I have never measured with PPM meter I just go by vibe and 1 hour intervals tank running 15 on the tank meter

2 days into this week I started to notice that the temperature outside was getting warmer at night. So I decided to do a all nighter and see how many plants did thorough the night. First thing I found out was that I'm to old for that shit lol damn was it hard. Anyways a few hours into the night I noticed the tent was getting hot. 27.8c was were it was staying at. So I turned the cob lights off for a bit and let the temp come down. Also noticed some shit was going on with my brain cake tent so I decided to take the SF-2000 Spider-Farmer out of it and swap out the COB light for it. After that the temp stayed around 25.6c for the rest of the night. After doing the leaf strip everything grew back within a few days (as you can see). One of my Kmintz plants wasn't consuming the water in its pot as fast as the others so I let it dry out a bit (48 hours) before I gave it another feeding. The Tarantula Genetics Platinum OG Punch Breath is a impressive plant so far. Excited to see what she looks like in the end. Today is week nine 60 days flower. This is super exciting! I have been trying not to stress cause even tho the bottled nutrients give you the feeding schedules your plant reacts to said nutrients one ways or another. I am excitied beacuse I am learning about mychrozia, beneficial bactiera how they coenside with each other and can replace fertilizer etc but thats a whole worm whole haha I have been giving this plant, flawless finish, and bud candy these last few days. How ever now I am giving her just water. Ph irrated always! MUch love lets root her on too the finish! Few More weeks LETS GO GUAVA she is smelling so so so fruity berries melons and sweet lets go

Day 50 - Day 3 - 9/2 - Moved up to 3/4 strength of Plagron today, no extras, just about 5ml of cal mag. 850ppm @ 5.8ph. - 9" tall today still Day 51 - Day 4 - 9/3 - 9.5" tall! woohoo!! - Gave 4 liters today, wash her out a bit but kept ppm same. - Runoff coming out about 1000 ppm. Day 52 - Day 5 - 9/4 - 10" Tall - Gave another 4 liters today, but added in some power buds for some fun! Day 53 - Day 6 - 9/5 - 10" tall still - Accidently added my additives before my bloom today....I mean I'm just using one additive i guess, LOL the Power Buds. Well....I'm not remaking, she can yell at me if she doesn't like it LOL - Still giving 3/4 strength at about 850 ppm Day 54 - Day 7 - 9/6 - 10.5" - Went a little under today, gave only about 710 ppm at 6.1 ph. 4 liters. - Noticed a couple of tips today, will bring her back down, probably go back to 1/2 strength over the next few feedings. - Still on 5ml of cal mag. Day 55 - Day 8 - 9/7 - Lowered her today, Gave about 13ml of bloom, no additives. 15ml/gal is 3/4 strength btw LOL. 660ppm @ 5.8ph. - First runoff was in the 900s, so gave full 4 liters to lower a bit, but only made it to the 800s. - Went ahead and just made a small cal mag rinse of about 250ppm and a bit of SLF real quick to bring her ppm down some more. Gave her 2 liters. Got her to 720ppm @ 5.7ph runoff. - 10.5" - Will go to normal feed tomorrow at 1/2 strength (10ml/gal). Day 56 - Day 9 - 9/8 - IT'S MY 24TH ANIVERARY TODAY!!! 24 years, 2 beautiful boy that are all grown up now, and 12 wonderful cats. It's been an amazing journey! - Week 2 of Flower starts today! - 11" tall - Normal feed, but at 1/2 strength now, about 636 ppm @ 6.0 ph. Added some power buds too today. Gave 2 liters. - Runoff was 700ppm @ 6.1. Perfect! - Think I found her sweet spot, 1/2 strength at about 650 ppm for now....at least till next week LOL **Happy Anniversary, Babe! Well, she started to hold on to some salts after her flip into flower. She liked that small flush I gave. I will keep her low on the ppm side. She'll be dropping that cal mag soon too! Don't want to forget that, I forgot to drop it in Trillianz and got some orange leaves. I swear, I have to rely on Alexa to remind me of EVERYTHING! Maybe I smoke too much.... Slushie is gorgeous! Loving those bushy leaves and the cats are too! Nice pretty color too. She should start stretching more soon. Can't wait.

But is actually week4 flowering, also brewing tea give my plants a little love. 05/09/2018 The boy's have been shaken twice a day last two days,dispersing copious amounts of pollen i mean clouds! It's forming layers in my tent, wish I could capture on video but its not picking it up😕 hoping it relates to strong offspring. 05/12/2018 Fourth week of flowering males are in overdrive! Making clouds of pollen I am gonna harvest some for later use (it can last 6months or more of stored correctly. I try and get video. Wish me luck👍🙏 05/14/2018 Harvesting pollen from the the boys. Video not greatest but you get the idea., Picture of #1 pollen and flower,will keep harvesting for a couple days, then cut off flowers and back to veg tent for more test. 06/18/2018 Coming up on sixth weeks after pollination, found two seeds popping out of the buds LAST week and I r germinated today!

Second week went good. The only issue is humidity goes up quite a bit when lights are off. I'll just add more wind to prevent further issues. What do you guys think? Also, I noticed some top leaves clawing and growing thin, like tacoing upside down. Still long weeks ahead, we'll see how it goes ;) 😅 😄 Thank you and happy growing!

Video update on the Gushers, she looks amazing, super frosty already, I gave some compost tea for the last stretch and added a bit of bio bloom and bio flowering booster as she got a bit bigger than expected. All going well excited to shoot this one 📸

The girls have survived another week ❤️ I did a light defoliation and have been monitoring the RH closely. We have had a very damp week here, and the RH kept climbing and had my fan working hard. They are starting to plump up and fill in 😋. They have also started to slow their drinking habits, instead of watering every three days, it has moved to every 4 now. Just a couple of weeks left, I think I will be harvesting these over Christmas 🎄, and will have some great bud ready for the new year! 🎉🎊🍾
