🌿 Gelonade – Week 4 Veg Grower: Dogdoctor Strain: Gelonade (Zamnesia Seeds) Type: Feminized Environment: Indoor Tent | Dual Zone | Full Spectrum LED | Full Control Ecosystem ⸻ 🌱 The Plants: Branching, Glowing, Flourishing Our Gelonade girls are THRIVING. Four weeks into veg and both phenos are showing off, with no signs of transplant stress and a burst of branching energy that’s filling out beautifully. • Stems are strong, upright, and thickening nicely • Leaves are broad, vibrant, and reaching • Internodal spacing is tight — perfect for shaping later • Side branches are already declaring themselves We took both beauties out for a special photoshoot this week. The studio lighting captured their posture, color, and symmetry, and let’s just say… they’re already stars. 🌟 ⸻ 🔧 Gear Check – Ecosystem in Harmony This grow is powered by tech and intention, a custom environment designed for precision and balance. Let’s break it down. 💡 Lighting: We’re running dual light ecosystems in an expanded 8x8 grow area: • Future of Grow – Black Series 600 • Full-spectrum, ultra-efficient, deep canopy penetration • ThinkGrow Model One LED • High PPFD uniformity, smart dimming, daylight-mimicking balance Both are controlled via the TrolMaster system, allowing: • Timed schedules • Sunrise/sunset ramping • Real-time PPFD monitoring 🌞 Each light is tuned to deliver exactly what the plants need, no more, no less. ⸻ Sensors & Controllers The TrolMaster Tent-X Controller is the brain of the operation — feeding live data from sensors throughout the space: • CO₂ Sensor – Ensures levels stay in the ideal range for vigorous veg • Temp/Humidity Sensor – Live VPD adjustments and historical tracking • PPFD Sensor – Calibrates light levels and spreads evenly across canopy Everything is automated, or monitored manually as needed. This allows you to focus on plants, not guesswork. ⸻ 🌬️ Airflow & Filtration Keeping the air clean, fresh, and moving is a core part of this grow. Here’s how it flows: 🔁 Extraction: • Two 6-inch exhaust fans with carbon filters: • AeroFan 6” – Controlled by TrolMaster Tent-X • Spider Farmer 6” – Controlled by GGS Controller • Both extract stale, warm air through carbon filters, scrubbing it clean and odor-free before it leaves the tent. Intake: • 6-inch filtered intake fan constantly bringing in fresh, oxygen-rich air ❓ Why Carbon Filters? Even in veg, filters reduce: • Dust & spores • Unwanted scents • Airborne pathogens It’s not just about smell — it’s about clean air = healthy plants. 📹 A video walkthrough is now included in the diary to show this airflow system in motion, stay tuned for a narrated version soon. ⸻ 💧 Feeding This Week The girls are still on the Aptus Veg Foundation Mix, focused on: • Cellular strength • Root expansion • Balanced nutrient delivery Feed Mix (per liter): • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml: Cellular support, heat resistance, uptake enhancer • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml: Frame and photosynthesis building • Aptus All-In-One Liquid – 1 ml: Broad spectrum nutrition • Aptus Start Booster – 0.2 ml: Ongoing root + early leaf architecture support 💡 Why keep Start Booster? Even at Week 4, it helps support the rapid branching phase and assists in developing feeder roots that stretch out horizontally. ⸻ 🌼 Looking Ahead Next week, we’ll begin shifting the feed to support the pre-flower transition. It’s not flower time yet, but the plants will begin “asking” for more energy and structural support soon. No rush, just flow. Expect: • More branching • Thicker stems • Early pre-flower signs (depending on light cycle) We’ll be watching closely, letting the girls tell us when it’s time. ⸻ 🌞 It’s Summer – and So Is the Grow The seasonal energy is flowing right into the tent. Life is pulsing. Roots are diving. Leaves are dancing in the air current. From animals outside to chlorophyll inside, everything is alive right now, and the Gelonade girls are right in rhythm. This is the joy of veg: potential made visible. ⸻ 💬 Final Thoughts This grow isn’t just about growing cannabis, it’s about building systems, creating harmony, and telling the story of life through plants. The Gelonade run is a flagship grow: Precision gear, intentional care, vibrant phenos. And above all, love in every step. We’re not just growing plants. We’re growing a garden of learning, beauty, and experience. Fattening week !! Alternating water/nutes irrigations... Gave the plant Top Bud, 2 times this week, using 0.5ml/l each one, but switching BIG ONE AND TOP BUD so: / -WATER- / -BIG ONE- + -TOP BLOOM- + -TOP CANDY- / -WATER- / -TOP BUD- + -TOP BLOOM- + -TOP CANDY- / --------------- Seems like @growdiaries did not add Top Bud to the database..So i let you the description below.. Top Bud : is a fattening fertilizer for the flowering stage. It maximum concentration of phosphorus and potassium and its absence of nitrates make it an ideal fertilizer for fatterning, while respecting the good taste of the crop. It is also rich in amino acids that benefit the development of flowers. Dilute at the rate of: 0.5-1ml per 1L of water once a week. Apt to: Its use in hydroponic substrate and coconut fiber. --------------

Day 71 Update: Watered both plants with almost a gallon until runoff. Water was just plain pH balanced water. Plant #1 has 5 days left on flush and Plant #2 has 11 days left on flush. Although with my tent filling up, I will probably harvest Plant #1 tomorrow as I don't think 4 days of being in there will make a difference in the end product. Day 72 Update: Harvested Plant #1 today. Plant #2 has 10 days left on flush. Day 74 Update: Watered plant with 3/4gal of pH balanced water until runoff. Plant #2 has 8 days left on flush. Also, added another stake to help support a heavier branch. Day 76 Update: Placed buds from Plant #1 in jars to start curing...maybe a little bit too long drying, but if that's the case I'll toss a boveda pack in. Plant #1's yield was 57.2g or 2oz 1.2g. Plant #2 will be harvested sometime next week and I will update the harvest page as soon as buds are dried and weighed.

Beginning of week 9(Flower): Plant still isn’t doing much, but she does look damn good. I love this plant. The entire apartment seems to smell when walking in. I realized I may have had my carbon filter setup wrong. I was pulling air from the grow tent without the filter inside, it would push the air out of the fan and through another duct and then finally into the carbon filter. I feel a lot of the smelly air was escaping this way. Hopefully this makes a difference. I took a clipping of a sugar leaf today and put it under my 60x microscope. This is my first time really checking on the trichomes, so I could be completely off, but it seems that 10% of the trichomes turned amber. I should be waiting for 30% amber before I harvest this? 2 more weeks I think? I’ll continue to check each week. Maybe I’ll try to get a check mid-week sometime. It has been 1 week now since I’ve given her nutrients, still looking really healthy.

W7 - GRETA 🌱is growing well. I again defoliate some leaves from top brunches (compare with week 6) just to make the top canopy slightly less dense. That will allow more sunlight receive by lower brunches a specially when they in the flowering period. Still using garden wire to hold down two top branches. She looks like bonsai cannabis 🎉 😘 I am happily watching her grow 🙂

Dat 37 fixed temperature and humidity issue and i noticed inmediatly a good reaction to the plant that didn’t show anymore suference during night and it absorbe all The nutrients. Big flowering phase is starting, this week i notice some stretching and i think is really starting now. Let’s see what happen Day 38 low temperature was the problem, now the plants can produce all réaction she needs. Day 42 blue is going really healthy, si smaller than thé orange and nutrients schedule is going well. I ll just rénové top max next week caus i started big bud. So curious about next weeks. Let’s go!

8/4/17 Calling this Flower but still feeding late veg nutes until stretch is over. Feeding every other day is indeed a labor savor, just over 30 minutes to water and vacuum as long as everything is pre PHed and prepared. I bought a pressure sprayer to more evenly water, but it won't work as it took about 20 minutes to water 1 plant with 1.5 gallon.s Not efficient enough, sadly. Lights are moving up once or twice a day. The time lapse camera will have to be adjusted as the tent is becoming overgrown. We have pre flowers everywhere, and Kush is 1st to flower. A couple other flowers forming, but oddly not any on the auto speed buds. I bought a dehumidifier to deal with lights out and post watering humidity spikes, and it said it had a pump so I could pump the water into a bucket outside the tent, but it apparently is just gravity. Between all my gear and the newly expanding canopy, it is starting to get crowded in the tent. I may have to return it, but I really don't want to as the size has it fit right where I need it. I think I found out what was eating my plant leaves. It was me. I accidently hit a leaf on Reek'N today with the shop vac while I was cleaning the runoff and it tore the end off a leaf and looked identical to the damage seen last week. On 1 hand, this is good news as we are still pest free (knock on wood), but on the other hand, I was careless with my girls. Shame on me. I will be much more careful in the future. I( am noticing what might be nute burn on some leaf tips on a few plants. I have not increased the PPMs since going to an every other day feeding, and am getting consistently more runoff than I was getting, PPMs of runoff are mostly around under 200 more than I am putting in, so the frequency must be burning them. I may back off one day and see what that does and adjust the schedule as needed. I could use the break, too ;) As long as they are stretching, they get Veg nutes, then a feeding or 2 of transition, then start flower nutes. Getting nute burn prior to changing PPMs was probably a good thing to alert me to back off the frequency of the feeding a bit, since they liked this PPM before with no complaints when feedings were spaced further apart. 8/5/17 They did not feed today as I am still monitoring the minor nute burn. I am starting to think, since I did not raise my nutes, that this nute burn is the result of me slowly lowering humidity to reach flowering VPD, in which case, the lower RH is causing the plants to transpire more and take up more nutes, hence the very minor nute burn I am seeing. I didn't consider the humidity to be a variable until a few minutes ago, but that would likely explain the issue. If so, I am pleased I got so close to optimal nutes that a variation of 5-10% less RH would cause this and concerned with recalibrating feed to this. It's a learning experience, tho, fo sho. They are still happily growing tho, I have had to raise my lights twice in the last 24 hours and anticipate moving them up once more today, so I guess I am still mostly giving them what they want. The Kush is the tallest at just over 22 inches. The Mango Cream, the shortest at just over 14 inches. I may have to destroy time lapse continuity to better match heights with lights as in full flower, they move to around 12 inches (they have been at 18 inches through veg). I likely won't be too aggressive on light placement both for spread and to avoid light burn in flower. We shall see. 8/6/17 LMFAO I am starting to look for a home for 2 of the Auto Speed Buds. Nothing against them in particular, but I may need to make room and I have 3 of them and only 1 of every other strain. Things are going a bit bonkers in the tent and unless I want to see them fight to the death, I may have to make room. I will monitor things and decide. What I thought was burn might actually be a def. I have consulted on a forum and have been persuaded to up my ppm at the same ratios. It makes more sense than burn, tbh, so I am going to go for it, new measurements to come, first feeding with new ppm tomorrow. Going to go 50% stronger in late stage veg and see how they respond, and perhaps will pick up the every other day feeding again. 8/7/17 New feeding based on slight def, full strength GH base nutes, EC 1.6, PH with white vinegar to 5.7 FloraMicro 5 ML gal FloraGro 5 ML gal FloraBloom 2.5 ML gal CalMagic 2.5 ML Gal Armor SI 1 ML gal Roots Excelerator 0.5 ML Gal Drip Clean .5 ML Gal Photosynthesis Plus 3 ML gal SM-90 2.5 ML gal Ful-Potential 2.5 ML gal FloraBlend 2.5 ML gal Floralicious 1ML gal 1.79 EC after nutes and additives cross your fingers that it is not too hot Soon move to transition nutes, drop Roots Excelerator and add FloraNectar So the plants were drier than I anticipated and the PPMs coming out were LESS than going in! I think the bump in nutrients was a good idea. We will see how these five handle it. 8/8/17 Just fed the other 5 full nutes, no trace of burn on yesterday's group. Light still going up twice a day. I am finding it very difficult to water and handle the Auto Speed Bud #1 in the center. The canopy is QUITE thick. The Kush is now over 10 cm taller than the breeder estimated for an indoor at over 70 cm. I am going to continue to feed every other day until they force me to feed every day. I am also going to continue with Veg nutes next feeding. 8/9/17 still growing, keeping the new full dose feeding. Will likely start upping the GH additives too. Kush is now over 80 cm. 8/10/17 As we wrap up week 6, Kush is getting close to 90cm, 50% taller than expected. 2 of the SPeed Buds are still in preflower, oddly. Everyone is healthy and getting huge. Having issues watering the plants in the middle because of the thickness of the canopy. Last night my Raspberry Pi got into a boot loop. Since I run the time lapse with that, I have to do an emergency new setup to get the time lapse rolling again. I am putting together a tutorial to make one yourself and will have info when it is completed. There will be some disruption to the time lapse from thi missing time period, but honestly, I have been having to move the camera up so often because of the growth it will likely not matter much. The plants are so big, I may push the next feeding past GH recommendations. Most people advise not to go anywhere near that, but the plants are so big and thriving so well and already got a bit of a def, I want to see if I can push them a little more by late flower. I have given full strength nutes and GH additives today to 5 of them, so will monitor and likely increase base trio ppms if all goes well.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2206 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/29- Here we go into Week One of Flower! It's been a month since these pretty ladies popped out of the ground and they're both looking perfect and have pistils popping out everywhere! Their fabric pots were still heavy when lifted, and they looked happy, so I skipped watering today and will check them tomorrow morning after the lights come on. Since being topped roughly a week ago, they have two new shoots that are emerging and looking extremely healthy with excellent vigor and have a beautiful healthy green color! The #1 is now at 9" tall and the #2 a bit shorter at 7". 12/31- Today was a 'dry day and all I did was refill the humidifier and some canopy maintenance, tucking shade leaves and gently bending branches. It's been a little over four weeks since they were planted in their amended medium and it's time to give their microbes a good feed so they can continue to provide them with all the macro and micro nutrients they need so, yesterday they got a good watering with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with GreenGro's Veg, Flower, Green Aminos, Natures Brix and Granular Myco added to it @ 1.5 tsp/g and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 73℉. 01/02- Today I watered them from the bottom with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann cal-mag to prevent any Cal-Mag issues they may encounter before they arrive. I also have the HLG 650R set 36" above canopy and it's set at 60% power which is being controlled by a Trolmaster HydroX controller. The tent environment is on point with temp's running 70 when the light's off and 74℉ with the light on. I'm keeping the RH at 55-60% right now but will drop it as flowering progresses. Finally, I've been keeping the VPD in the tent running 0.85 - 1.05 which I'm happy with! 01/04- They have both been doing really well getting watered every other day and yesterday they received 0.5g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner which was then ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉. They're both doing fantastic but were really beginning to get choked up with growth so I went in and selectively removed a few shade leaves from both to get some light penetration down into their canopies to give that lower growth some much needed light. While I was doing that I also did a little more LST on both to also increase light penetration. Well, there goes another week in our journey and I'm looking forward to the coming weeks as flowering gets cranked up! 😍👍 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Please visit as often as you wish and I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I know I will! Grow Strong! 💪😎🤙
