Not much to say here. Everything looking strong after recovering from a brief black aphid attack (diatomaceous earth was applied). Vegetative growth is accelerating as the roots fill out the pot. They should really take off next week. 6/30 Seeing daily development now, and the plants are showing more and more vigor. Excited to watch these two develop for the next couple of weeks. Should be aggressive. ;)

Noticed the Purple was growing oddly compared to the Pineapple. Was having some heat issues which could have been the cause. By the end of the week feeding was once a day, about 2-4 drops in 100ml of water Ph between 6.0 - 6.1 all Remo veg nutrients. Found it hard to get the nutrients right with the fast growth of autos. Will get better each time and every run we learn something.

Weekly update on these big girls. I decided to take out some of the lower branches, giving more airflow at the top of the pot level. Overall they've exploded with growth this week. I'd say they're getting close to 4ft tall. I sprayed some BT spray for ipm this week since I don't want catapillers showing up unannounced. All in all Happy Growing.

Día 15. Las plantas ya alcanzaron un altura muy buena. Ya empiezan a aparecer los primeros pelos blancos. Por el momento me ha sorprendido la reacción de las plantas al bud blood. Si puedo voy a comprar bud candy para ayudar un poco a la mezcla. Por el momento decidí mantener el bud blood a media dosis durante una semana más con el big bud. Veremos que tal resulta. Día 17. El estirón siguió y las plantas alcanzaron 51 cm. Las pequeñas directamente quedaron tapadas. En este experimento se puede ver la diferencia entre tierra e hidroponia. La verdad que estoy sorprendido. Creo que los productos usados son los que han marcado la diferencia. Las plantas quintuplicaron la altura total que tenían al momento de pasarlas a floración. Y sospecho que van a seguir estirándose una semana más. Espero no tener problemas de altura porque no lo planeaba. Creo que voy a cortar algunas ramas bajas más, dado que se están generando muchas sombras nuevas. Seguiré actualizando. Día 19. El estiramiento continua, pero levemente. Ya alcanzaron 55cm. Estuve cortando algunas ramas y hasta supongo que podría cortar más. Pero a esta altura ya todo lo que hay recibe buena luz. La diferencia entre la madre que está en tierra y los esquejes en hidroponia, es cada vez más notoria. Si bien ya la he visto, tener una planta al lado de la otra bajo la misma luz, hace la parte alevosa de todo esto. De todos modos, he comprobado que el sabor obtenido en tierra, es más fiel al de la hidroponia. En hidroponia en principio, las plantas son mas fuertes en todo, pero el sabor de alguna forma, es demasiado afectado por los nutrientes. Incluso habiendo lavado dos o tres semanas, la planta sostiene un sabor constante en todas las variedades, que parece estar atado a la nutrición. Siendo que en tierra, cada variedad tiene su sabor distintivo, siendo una distinta de otra. La próxima actualización será en la nueva semana, ya que al quedar poca solución, la voy a cambiar antes y voy a poner 12 litros en lugar de los 10 que vengo usando. Las plantas vienen comiendo mucho.

D-70 : At this stage, I'm a bit.... surprised that the Desfrans are not taller thant they are. The smallest one is 35cm wich is really small for a 100% sativa strain. The tallest one is about 56cm, wich is also quiet small I think. If I compare with some other diaries, the tallest one could be in the target if we take into account that I trained them a lot during their first weeks. But the small one is almost the half she should be... There's no sign of deficency, none ! I have 420w @ 50 cm from the top, so it's not because of the light. The container is a 20L smartpot. I simply do not understand. Is it juste because of that phenotype ? Will she grow during the next 7-9 weeks untill she'll recover her late ? I Modified a bit the position of the light so the Lumatek 100w FullSpectrum on the side of the box is really pointed to the "slow" girls. We'll see if it change anything but I really doubt about it... The only lead I have is : Desfran loves HEAT and Light. The 2 smallest are on the coldest side of the box, even if it's not cold at all. But it is the side near the window...

It was an invaluable experience growing outdoors. In general, we can safely conclude that it is not recommended to plant photoperiod plants at my latitude, you need to look towards early stains. What's up Growmies🤟🏽. Week # 8 is in the books🙌🏾 Hello week #9💪🏾 I went a little overboard on pictures this week, they are so happy and healthy that I got carried away. I know we are supposed to post pictures with the lights off, however it's something about the contrast it gives with the lights on that makes it look sexy to me😁. I have had to tie the stalks of both White LSD plants due to heavy sagging. I'm noticing with this strain the stalks seem to topple over even though the buds are far from fully developed. A trellis net probably would be ideal however I hate them. They are easy to put on but very difficult to take off come harvest. I use garden wire and string them as if they are puppets being controlled by the puppet master🤪. I continue my feeding schedule with the recommended "bloom" concoction using general hydroponics Flora series trio. I give them 1 liter every 3 days. I have them on a 2 to 2 cycle (feed them twice with nutes and then twice with plan water) I keep the p.h. around 6.1 to 6.6. Temps and humidity are in the perfect range I'm enjoying it while it last because spring and summer in VA makes it difficult to keep the humidity in check. All in all everything is going well for me and my ladies. I hope the same for all of you. Het is week 10 Ik dacht dat ik haar te veel drinken had gegeven omdat de bladeren slap hingen en ze aan het vergelen waren, maar dit komt dus door de fungus gnat. Ik kwam steeds meer van die vervelende vliegjes tegen in de tent. Ik heb een laag zand over de bodem gestort zodat die fucking vliegjes er niet meer doorheen kunnen om eitjes te leggen. Dit had ik al weken eerder moeten doen. Dit is de tweede keer dat ik dit heb meegemaakt en beide keren was dit met de lightmix van biobizz, dus deze potgrond ga ik nooit meer gebruiken. Ik heb de vergeelde bladeren weggeknipt. Ik zal gedurende de week nog verse foto's updaten, hopelijk zal ze haar bloemen flink oppompen. 💪🏽

This week they have grown super, but unfortunately they are getting lighter. 3 days ago I added another 1 g per liter of GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Grow substrate, as they still remain a bit in the veggie. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to release the nutrients. Whatever the reason, that still not all trips are elemened 🤬. I've only seen some before, and treated directly with neem oil so that it finally has a rest ☺️. 22/04 Day 1 of flower. Did a bit of leaf tucking and took some off the plants. Also prunned them in the lower half of the plants. Upped EC to 1.45 aprox and today the lights for 12/12 Autopots are amazing, haven't done much this past few weeks other than check ph and the growth is super fast. Let's see how much they stretch in flower

Going good this week. Really packing on the buds now. Added some more nutrients that I now have kicking around for a hydro grow. Plant 6 was transplanted last week as I thought it may have been having some issues. I pulled off all the yellow leafs and it seems to be alright. Just glad it’s still kicking. Question: Should I be pulling leaves off my other plants? There’s a few covering up lower bud sites but I’m unsure how it’ll effect my auto flowers. Question: Wondering when to harvest these bad boys. Trichomes don’t appear amber yet. Website for the seeds say 70-90 days seed to harvest. I’m wondering if I can push it to 90 days (13 weeks(ish)) even if they appear ready at 70. Will that effect my harvest?
