Week Five and Flowering has begun Will fold in Bio-Bloom and replace Fix Mix with Bio-grow , may add some Phos via top dressing as well. Yellowing continues to recede just not fast enough for my comfort. Brandy has obviously stunted considerably and Maggie at least somewhat. Could not expect differently Moving to Flowering tent soon as its clear, couple of days at most 10/28 UPDATE Going to play on a couple of hunches at next watering. Need to get a TDS meter soon, got a feeling it would help. Ever since we went to BioBizz we have experienced a variety of oddness in the vein of this grow. Now long term since we are switching to coco and Flora nuet line that is solved but short term I am switching to Dr. Earth Flower Girl for remainder of grow. Every feeding/watering will be @6.5 PH to 20% run off and checking PH on that. Of course this will be modified based on results. Schedule is a single top dressing at 4 tbs (roughly 2 tsp per gal of soil) covering with 1/2 inch min of coco and 50% perlite as a mulch. Layla must go on her own feeding schedule as she is just so much bigger and drinking well. Will do the feed when moving to Flowering tent in a day or so as that will be about time to water. She looks good if a little darker green than I like. Were it only Layla I might not suspect anything... meh Here is where Grow Diaries saved the day , by going back and looking at past grows we came to suspect the nuet change although initially results were great problems always seemed to follow. In my reaction to that, not knowing, I may have made other mistakes, likely in fact. Its a solid organic and may head off some issues. Simplify As for Bandy and Maggie, still have that bottle of H2O2 on the shelf, need to see some serious improvement real soon. Getting to be now or never Later: Talked to the owner of a hydroponics store who is also a long time grower that knows these nuet lines cold. His take is that it is absolutely the Bio-Bizz nuets, seems they are hard to run alone as they have holes in their make up which will cause mystery deficiencies in some plants and soil mixes. That really pisses me off LoL , my fault though just glad I have partial explanation. Good thing is he was able to show me the CocoTek Grow and Bloom lines and that is going to be the choice, two part feed without complications. Simplify heheh 10/29 Confirmed the dye reading of pot PH on all three by another method. Took a handful sized soil sample from as deep as I could of each pot and placed into a cup, soaked with 7.0 water let stand 15 minutes to stabilize, tested pour off, all at 6.7 so that is NOT the problem. Damn it This is the reasoning: Water goes into the pot at 6.4-6.5 takes the entire system to that level temporarily, it then begins bringing it up to 6.7-6.8ish and that friends covers the entire range of nuet take-up in soil. Going to cheat a bit high and make it 6.5 solid as its good on acid content. Least thats how I see it, back to basics so may as well. Top dressing Layla today with Flower Girl, others follow when pots dry out a bit more. Moved to Flowering Tent , something came up and they still have not been feed will try and do it this afternoon. 10/30 Fed Recharge 0.5 tsp - Kangaroots 5ml - CalMag 5ml - PH 6.5 for one gallon over 4 tbs top dressing Dr. Earth Flower Girl and one inch of mulch (50% coco/perlite) 11/1 Defoliated Layla (about 3%) so the center of the plant gets good light, did a little training on Brandy to keep things dry, Maggie... man just letting it grow I am just flabbergasted at this yellow leaf thing Pics at watering tomorrow 11/2 No water today, they dont need it.

Number 2 pheno might herm on me so I have to watch but I have limited plants and I really want to keep these genetics so I need atleast one female. Number 3 the mutant stopped growing before I topped, or maybe not stopped but it threw out pistils at the apical meristem and not producing leaves so I topped to see if I could promote side growth but it hasn't worked; I'm going to keep her around just for the fun of it. 4 is my hope of producing female and a good clone.

No complaints this week. All 4 of the ladies are flowering well, pistils are all over the plants. Bruce banner will be a very frosty plant judging by how she was the 1st to start producing tricomes on her leaves. They went from drinking every 2 days to at least once a day. Im excited to see how well the buds produce and swell up over the next 2 weeks..ill make sure to continue to do everything on part to stay dialed in on the ladies. The girl grow pst the circumference of the 5 gallon pot. She is steadily growing on the top, fan leaves look thick and bright green. The stem is growing in girth. I fed her some stump tea along with a gallon of feed water at the end of this week. Let's see how she reacts to it. I have been super cautious in increasing her feed. Since she is growing in soil, I waited until she is a month old before loading her with nutrients. Concerns for this week: This plant is getting real bushy, the fan leaves are pretty big. Its gonna b casting plenty shade in a week ot two. Little bit concerned about light distribution to all parts of the plant. The fan leaves are so big, I am not sure how to begin LST on her. Need to read up more on it. Onward and upward!!

********Week 9 Vegetation- Sept 12 to 18, 2020******* This will be the last veg week. Flipped to flower cycle at the end of the week:) LST this week on these girls. Getting them ready to put in a SCROG I think. Pull them down for now to start pulling them wider and make it easier to fill in the canopy’s net. Actually, they were only tied down for this week. At the end of the week I removed the ties. These girls need to be allowed to grow tall. I achieved my goal of spreading out the branches and making her wider for the start of flower. Now I just have to let her go and hope she will get another 12” to 18” taller in the stretch. There were 4 feed days this week and Advanced Nutrients Bud Ignitor was introduced this week.......getting ready for flower👍 Switch to Bloom nutes next week. Going to finish these girls with Advance Nutrients line this run. I may have to use a supplemental from Green Planet to get through to harvest. This lines bottles are getting closer to a year and a half old now........use em uip👌😃 Not buying more Bud Factor X for example (still have a couple of syringes worth) but rather will add Terpinator and Rezin instead. Little more detail: Sept 12/20 - CalMag @ 2ml, VeloKelp, Vitrathrive @ 1.5ml, AN Sensi Grow A&B @ 1ml - 610ppm and 5.9pH - Each girl given 2L - Pulled out and cleaned up to get ready for netting - Canopy height fairly even today.....little more time to fill in though. Sept 14/20 - Giving them a hearty feeding today with lots of ml’s to rinse off the roots a little more - Sensi CalMag @ 2ml, B52, Microbial Mass @ 1.5ml, Sensi Grow @ 1ml - 880ppm and 5.4pH - Each girl given 4L and they had a nice amount of runoff - maybe 30% this time. - Canopy filling in nice but worried about these girls height compared to Gorilla Girl beside them. Uneven heights down the road?? Sept 15/20 - Add some sweetener to feed the microbes today,. - Sensi CalMag @ 2ml, Bud Candy, B52 @ 1.5ml - 625ppm and 5.2pH - 2L each for the girls - Leaf colour is a little light so getting the Magnesium up and Nitrogen......that’s why using the heigh nitrogen Advance Nutrients Cal Mag. - pH is a little low but I am cool with it and working on not letting the pH drift too much yet in their run. - They are ready.........they want to flower😃 Sept 17/20 - Bud Ignitor introduced today as we get ready for Flower phase next week. - Sensi CalMag, Sensi Grow A&B, Bud Ignitor, all @ 1ml/L - 485 ppm and 5.7pH - Each girl given 2L - Ready to flip now but I concerned that I need to have these girls at least 8” higher than they are beucase they are not going to stretch as much as the other girls in the tent. - these girls have some most fan leaves growing.......I want to pull them but I am resisting😉 - Swtich the light cycle tonight to 12/12 and get the party started👊👍 That takes us to the end of Veg for these two girls. They have some very thick main branches and lots of large fan leaves. I expect to see further side branching growth in the next couple of weeks. they both have 4 nice main tops forming so I expect they should have a few chunky buds by the end💪 The girl in the 3gal pot is doing very well and I would suggest looking better than the girl in the 5 gal pot right now. Not fully surprising to me though.......the bigger girl with the extra room for roots, will likely seem a little happier in about 5 weeks but time will tell. Cheers Growmies and have a great week🙏

Nov 20, 2019 The plants are doing well. Gave them and the soil in the entire 5 gallon pots a good drenching with a compost tea, kelp, alfalfa, fish hydrysolate, and molasses blend. I'm also realizing I could be watering these girls a bit more. Being a newby I'm over cautious of over watering. But I'm finding the light airy soil mix I made combined with fabric pots.... the soil dries rather quickly. No signs of under watering, but I think I can water them more. This week I'll start watering a couple of cups daily and once a week give the whole pot a good drenching to keep the rest of the soil (where the plants haven't grown into yet) damp.✌️ Nov. 22, 2019 Well I think the girls are starting to give off a little scent. Opened the doors to the room and noticed a slight aroma of woodsy dank. Put my nose right up to the plant.... and yup, they starting to smell. Nov. 23, 2019 Noticed the front row was growing faster and taller than back row. At the start of this week I swapped the rows, moved 2 Zkittlez and 1 Californian Snow to the back row, 2 Californian Snow and 1 Zkittlez to the front row. Today I started LST'ing the taller plants, 2 Californian Snow and 1 Zkittkez. I hope the other 3 catch up soon. I want to keep these all close together. Reason is I can focus on journaling the growing characteristics, experiences both good and bad regarding each strain independently. Started to LST the 3 tallest plants... earlier I posted the front row was growing faster than the back row. That was Saturday Nov. 23. I LST'd the other 3 the next day. I'll have more details in the individual diaries... links posted above. Started watering today 6 cups/ pot. This seems about right as I'm getting very little run off and the bottoms of all the fabric pots are wet. I found this Hydrofarm soil moisture/ph meter in a box that was with all this equipment I acquired. The electrodes were corroded, after a little sandpaper on them I think it's working pretty well. That's it for this week. ✌️👌

There have been no trips for 2 weeks, but prevention is better 😀. Because of the neem oil, the plants look very dark and shiny, which I really like when they shimmer like that 😝. I didn't do any training these days, that will be done again the next few days 👌. it was watered twice this week with around 0.6 l per plant. The Ph / Ec measuring device was also recalibrated. Einige Triebe wurden nun durch reiben und drücken umgeknickt(HST) weil sie aus dem Netz rausgewachsen ist und ich unbedingt das höhenwachstum eindämmen muss, da die Pflanze noch ihren Stretch machen wird und ich sonst keinen Abstand zur Lampe bekomme. In der ersten Woche deutliche Veränderung des Wachstumbildes, die ersten weißen Härchen sind erkennbar. Biobizz Bloom und TopMax werden ab jetzt auch hinzugefügt.

This means that whatever the temperature is, the air feels like it, not 10-15 degrees hotter. My AK-47XL is short under 3 feet and has good node spacing so there is space for air flow. The buds forming don’t have many hairs yet but the trichomes forming on the sugar leaves are visible. Looking at the bud structure, the leaves are tight throughout. This may be a concern for bud rot if the rain and humidity return. I’ll keep a close watch, but so far, she is easy to grow and resistant to fungus and pests. Almost done, leds are really forcing those red colors a lot more than HPS, this strain really look like a mini dragon after feasting and covered with blood splashes, she smells very nice of sweet lemony vanilla skunk. I find this strain very easy to grow and perfect for my environment because buds are small and leaves are few so no bud rot risks, perfect size and bulk for my grow room! Going to be easy to trim, and buds are very compact and a good amount of trichomes covering them. Love cookies!

We checked trichomes last week nearly all were still clear but the density is amazing.. these are still showing slight signs of nutrient burn with little change from a week of water so we'll give it another and then one last heavy feeding to finish the grow out with water..
