12/24/2021 So far only one male has been identified. Glad I just reviewed my video I didn't even notice how light green #3 is, guess I mix her nutes up separately and see if she just hungry? Or naturally lighter than others. All other plants are using coast of Maine mixed into soil (her too) so I'll give her a little mirimichi 901C this week and see what happens. 12/30/2021 Noticing that there is two distinct differences between these girls, color light green and dark green.#1,#3,#8 are light green and #2,#4,#5,#6,#7 Other than that there very much similar growth and node spacing, little differences but very happy with uniformity. Both light green and dark green maintained their magenta petiols, gonna make notes on stem rub notes next week and see how they will compare.

My Northern Lights number 10 plant is the biggest in the tent so far, and it's stacking like crazy. I love the short leaves – they're perfect for fitting a bunch of branches into a small space, even though they're really big. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. Plant Mol Biol 65: 107-12 Abstract Sound waves technology has been applied to different plants. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. This paper provides an overview of literature for the effects of sound waves on various growth parameters of plant at different growth stages. https://doi.org/10.1016/S2095-3119(13)60492-X

🌿 Skywalker OG — Week 4 Report 12/12 from seed 📌 Disclaimer / Timeline clarification Before we begin, a quick note for transparency: Last week, while compiling the reports, I unintentionally included some photos that actually belong to this week. That one’s on me. It’s fairly easy to notice which photos those are, and to avoid duplicating files, I’ll keep the correct visuals where they are while continuing to share this week’s genetics shots and videos as intended. Thank you for the understanding — clarity and honesty always come first here 🙏 ⸻ 🌱 Week 4 overview We are now in Week 4 of vegetative development under a 12/12 light schedule from seed. The Skywalker OG girls are looking outstanding: • Deep, lush green coloration • Strong, healthy leaf structure • Calm posture with no visible stress • Excellent overall vigor These plants are clearly happy and well-settled in their environment. ⸻ 🌿 Structure & training notes At this stage, the plants are reaching 7–8 nodes, with some approaching 9 nodes, and we’re beginning to see early branching. Training so far has been: • Gentle leaf tucking • Light leaf bending • No aggressive manipulation • No intentional stress The goal right now is simply guidance, not force — helping light reach lower sites while allowing the plant to stay relaxed and balanced. Branching is happening slowly and naturally, which is exactly what we expect under 12/12 from seed. At this moment, the plants are still prioritizing root system expansion over top growth, and that foundation will pay off later. ⸻ 🌱 Why growth looks the way it does (12/12 from seed) A quick reminder for anyone new joining us: Under 12/12 from seed: • Vegetative growth is more compact • Plants focus heavily on roots early on • Structural decisions are made carefully by the plant • Flowering does not start immediately This is not a race — it’s a controlled, intentional build-up. ⸻ Nutrition & overall health The current nutrition plan is clearly doing its job. Across the diaries, we’re seeing: • Balanced green tones (no burn, no fade) • Clean leaf edges • Strong stems • Consistent vigor Every plant expresses herself a bit differently — autos, photoperiods, different genetics — but the overall health across the room is excellent, and that’s always the real metric. ⸻ 🔮 What to expect next Over the coming week(s), expect: • Continued node development • Stronger lateral branching • Gradual shift toward pre-flower behavior • Increased structural definition What not to expect just yet: • No heavy stretch • No real flower formation • No need for defoliation • No drastic changes Consistency remains the key. ⸻ 🙏 Final notes Huge thank you to everyone following along, observing, asking questions, and sharing this journey with us. It’s always a pleasure documenting these runs and learning together. And of course, a big shout-out to the genetics from Zamnesia — each plant is showing her own personality, and it’s beautiful to watch. The girls are doing great… …and they definitely say hi back to you all 💚🌱 Community Note Due to YouTube community guidelines, our educational channel was taken down. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Still hadn't really figured it out this week... I was making a lot of mistakes, but the deficiencies weren't showing yet so I had no idea.

9/8 D65 Seems our "good" weather is ending and if the forecast is correct for the next three days, only three of the last ten were sunny. That aint good folks not sure what can be done about it outside of artificial light and that would go on the ATF if any were available. Ah well learning is fun She looks good just needs some blasted sun Zombie is thriving, go figure Full feed yesterday 9/10 Sunless days continue, maybe two hours sun today then the rain moved in and the temp dropped... global warming my arse The forecasts were correct now I can only hope that continues as it is forecast for much better the next 2 days and then right back to this mess. 9/11 Yep today was a big improvement glad to have it 9/13 Day 70 New vids, top dressing seems to have triggered a new run of bud building on both Gloria and zombie Quasimodo (cant kill some of these Mex Air plants). The moster crop growth pattern is interesting as hell just letting it grow. Gloria looks to be building a basketball bud on top :) Weather degrading harvest in a couple weeks max trics say same

Honestly— grow diaries screwed up big time here. I have two weeks of this diary completely missing after their update. I delete the pics so I can’t re update the lost weeks they deleted. This is week 8 and I chopped up this tester. Came out beautifully! Love the color. The density is on point, and the terps are pine cleaner. Harvest update next week. Big yield here!!!

Today, day 23 was the last repotting. Girls went from 11.6L to a 20L pot. Now there in the right place, serious things can begin ! I planned to top the girls on wednesday or thursday. It will depends on hos they will recover. Actually, it's my first time with smartpots. If smartpots have a lot of advantages, repotting is not one of them ! I made a mistake : the plants were 60% dry, and abviously, it was not a good idea ! It should be clearly moist. Nextime I think I will water the girls 1 hour before repotting. I hope it will be ok and they will recover from this tough moment.... Will see in a few days 😰😨 Anyway, I have generously watered them right after repotting with no nutrient. Juste clear water with the right Ph. As they are in some brand new light-mix medium, I thought they have enough nutrient for a at least 2 or 3 days. D-25 : Everything is ok. Girls seems to have recover very well :) Anyway, I'll wait at least one more day before topping. D-26 : Topping the girls. Hope everything is going to ok... Also feeding the girls right after the top. During the topping process, the plants were reduced from 25cm to 12cm.

3 weeks down and into the fourth! This girl has started exploding in the last few days. I've now started to tuck the bigger leaves under the new growth as much as I can. The Gorilla Cookies definitely is the healthiest girl in the tent. As for environment, today I've turned the ventilation fan on 24hrs with no breaks. I started getting paranoid that hour on hour off is not doing them any favors and I'm just gonna have to suck it up and bare the brunt of the power bill. This will also drastically reduce the RH, which I'm not totally sure of the effects it will have on the girls. Low RH has got to be better than RH too high, right? 🤷‍♂️

Week 7 Flowering / Everything is looking great! The plants are well developed and covered in trichomes. Last week or close to it: about 50% milky trichomes on the Critical Widow and Amnesia Lemon, with some still clear and a few amber. I’m thinking about harvesting either in the next few days or in about a week while continuing feeding. Aroma-wise: Critical Widow of the lower buds has a really unique profile — like a sweet candy Amnesia Lemon slightly salty, with a subtle background of peanut and a hint of lemon. 24 February start flo ≈ 69-70 days in 12/12 , harvest ≈ 9-10 weeks ✅ Flush plan 69-70 days in 12/12 FINAL FLUSH + HARVEST (2x16L SCROG) ≈ Apr 21: Drain 20L → 10L FlashClean✅ Apr 22-27 DRY-BACK (do nothing)✅ Apr 28: CUT whole plant d → hang dry 7-10 day🔨

Hi growmies 💚 An exciting journey comes to an end and I would say the results are quite spectecular. ATAMI has proven to me that Bloombastic, Rokzbastic, Rootbastic and the basic Atami nutrients are highly effective. Unfortunately I lost two plants to mildew and had to throw them away😥 Peace and happy growing 💚 🍀 🌞 🖖🏼 ☮️
