Chem Brulee By Zamnesia Pheno A
🍮 8×8 Adventure – Week 13 🌸 Chem Brûlée – Pheno A 🔥 The Wild Girl Is Rushing Toward The Finish Hello everyone, and welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! 🌱💚 And here she is again... Our Chem Brûlée Pheno A. But honestly... I think we're going to have to stop calling her just "Chem Brûlée." Because this girl has become a little beast. 😂🔥🍮 She's wild. She's moving fast. She's developing quickly. She's changing visibly. And now... she's starting to look like a plant that's very seriously thinking about the final chapter. The flowers are getting bigger. The main cola is absolutely huge. The hairs are changing. The leaves are beginning to fade. And the entire plant is giving us that unmistakable feeling: "Okay... we're getting close now." 😂💚 This girl isn't hanging around. She's moving. Fast. And I absolutely love watching it. So this week, we're going to give this beast the spotlight she deserves. Let's make her shine. 🍮❄️🔥🌸 ──────────────────────── 🔥 The Beast Is Awake Let's start with the obvious. This girl is moving. And she's moving fast. Last week we were already talking about her entering the final chapter. This week? She's making that chapter much easier to see. The plant is changing. The flowers are becoming increasingly mature. The pistils are changing colour. The foliage is beginning to fade. And the overall structure is starting to look like she's preparing herself for the final stretch. She's not slowing down. She's not sitting there waiting for us. She's doing what she does. Growing. Building. Maturing. And apparently... trying to finish the story before some of her neighbours even get to the interesting part. 😂🍮🔥 Fair enough, girl. We're watching. ──────────────────────── 🌸 That Main Cola... WOW Okay. We have to talk about this. Because the main cola on this girl is HUGE. 😂🔥🌸 Seriously. It's one of those flowers where you look at the plant and immediately your eyes go straight toward it. It's massive. It's substantial. It's beautifully developed. And now that the plant is starting to mature around it, that main cola becomes even more impressive. The structure is there. The density is there. The flower is there. And she's still hanging in there beautifully. No drama. No complaints. Just one enormous Chem Brûlée flower sitting there saying: "Yeah... I built this." 😂🍮💚 And honestly? She has every right to be proud of it. ──────────────────────── 🌿 She's Starting To Fade Another big change this week is the foliage. She's starting to fade. And in the context of everything else we're seeing, that makes perfect sense. The plant is moving further into maturity. The flowers are developing. The pistils are changing. The overall appearance is shifting. And now we're beginning to see the leaves changing along with the rest of the plant. This is one of those moments where you really appreciate having weekly photographs. Because the transition isn't always dramatic from one day to the next. But compare the plant with where she was a few weeks ago... and suddenly you realize: "Oh damn. She's really moving." 😂💚 The beautiful green we were looking at earlier is now gradually giving way to the colours of a plant approaching the end of her journey. And I'm enjoying watching every part of it. ──────────────────────── ? The Hairs Are Changing And the pistils are joining the conversation. We're seeing more and more colour coming through those beautiful flowers. The fresh white hairs from earlier stages are gradually being replaced by more mature-looking tones. Cream. Yellow. Orange. Brown. And increasingly curled-in pistils. ?🌸 Again, we're not using pistil colour alone to decide anything. The plant is the complete picture. But when you combine those changing hairs with: 🌸 Bigger flowers ❄️ Increasing resin 🌿 Fading foliage 🔥 Mature-looking structures 🍮 Overall progression ...the message becomes pretty clear. She's moving toward the finish. And she's doing it quickly. ──────────────────────── ❄️ The Frost Is Still There Of course... we can't talk about Chem Brûlée without talking about the frost. 😂❄️ Because even while the plant is changing and beginning to fade, the flowers are still looking beautiful under the camera. That resin continues to give her that sparkling character. Move closer... and you see it. The sugar leaves. The flower surfaces. The little details. The texture. The resin. All those tiny details that disappear when you're standing across the room. And this is why I love taking her into the studio. The full plant tells us the story. The close-ups tell us the details. And together... they show us exactly how far this girl has come. ──────────────────────── 🍮 Same Girl — Completely Herself One thing I really appreciate about Chem Brûlée Pheno A is that she never needed to become the biggest or most spectacular plant in the room to be interesting. She has simply been herself. And now we're seeing exactly what that means. She's wild. She's fast. She's got a huge main cola. She's developing beautiful flowers. She's changing colour. She's fading. She's getting closer. And she's doing all of it in her own way. That's what phenotype hunting is about. We're not asking: "Can we make every plant look the same?" We're asking: "What does THIS plant do?" And Chem Brûlée Pheno A has answered that question very clearly. 😂🍮🔥 She does whatever the hell she wants. ──────────────────────── 🌱 The 8×8 Adventure — Same Room, Different Stories For anyone discovering this diary for the first time... welcome to the 8×8 Adventure. Twelve plants. Different genetics. Different phenotypes. One shared room. One general environmental strategy. One 12/12 lighting schedule. One irrigation philosophy. One nutritional program. One lighting ecosystem. One grower. And twelve completely different expressions. That's the magic. Because look at Chem Brûlée Pheno A. She's moving fast. She's fading. She's changing her pistils. She's carrying a huge main cola. And she's approaching the final stage. Meanwhile, somewhere else in the room, another phenotype may be doing something completely different. Same room. Same photons. Same ecosystem. Different genetics. Different personality. Different timeline. And that's exactly what we came here to discover. ──────────────────────── 💡 Still Under The Same Artificial Sun The lighting setup remains exactly the same across the room. Our Future of Grow Black Series LEDs continue providing the artificial sun. The two additional Black Series 600W fixtures remain part of the setup. And we're still controlling the output rather than simply running everything flat out. 🔌 Approximately 59% from the plug with around: ☀️ ~1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy The intensity naturally changes throughout the canopy depending on plant height and position. And Chem Brûlée Pheno A? She's making damn good use of those photons. 😂💡🔥 She's taking that light and turning it into flowers. A lot of flowers. And one hell of a main cola. ──────────────────────── ☀️ Same Photons — Different Interpretation This is still one of my favourite parts of the entire 8×8 Adventure. We give them the same opportunity. The plants decide what to do with it. Some stretch. Some stay compact. Some build huge branches. Some build dense flowers. Some take their time. Some move incredibly fast. And Chem Brûlée Pheno A? She's basically saying: "Thank you for the photons. I'll turn them into a monster cola." 😂🍮🔥 And honestly... I'm not complaining. A huge thank you once again to Future of Grow for supplying the two additional Black Series 600W fixtures for this experiment. Having more lighting capability while being able to control the actual output has been a fascinating part of watching these different phenotypes develop. ──────────────────────── 🌱 Same Feeding — But We May Be Near The End The nutritional program remains consistent with the rest of the room for now. Current recipe: 🌱 Plagron Pure Zym — 1 ml/L ⚗️ Plagron pH Plus — 0.03 ml/L 🍋 Plagron Lemon Kick — 0.03 ml/L 🌸 Plagron Terra Bloom — 2 ml/L 🌿 Plagron Power Buds — 1 ml/L 🍯 Plagron Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L Current solution strength: ⚡ EC ~2.05 mS/cm But... I think we're getting very close to making another decision. Because this girl is moving quickly. She's fading. She's changing. She's showing increasingly mature flowers. And we're approaching the point where we may stop the feeding program for her very soon. Not today. Not just because the calendar says so. But because we're watching the plant. And the plant is giving us information. She's telling us: "I'm getting close." 😂🍮🌸 So we're listening. ──────────────────────── 🧠 The Plant Gets The Final Vote This is something I've repeated throughout this entire adventure. And it becomes even more important now. The calendar says Week 13. The plant says: "Look at me." 😂 So we look. We look at the flowers. We look at the pistils. We look at the foliage. We look at the resin. We look at the overall structure. And then we decide what comes next. I'm not interested in forcing a plant into a schedule just because a number on the calendar says we should. She's alive. She's changing. She's communicating. And right now... she's communicating very loudly. 😂🔥🍮 "I'm getting close." Message received. ──────────────────────── 💧 Stable Room — Stable Plants And just like the rest of the reports this week... we're keeping the room stable. No unnecessary changes. No dramatic interventions. No sudden environmental swings. The ecosystem is working. The plants are responding. And Chem Brûlée is moving beautifully. So we continue. Observe. Maintain. Document. Enjoy. And adjust when the plant actually tells us it's time. At this stage, there's no reason to create work just for the sake of doing something. She's already doing enough work herself. 😂🌸 ──────────────────────── 🌡️ WEEK 13 — CURRENT ROOM CONDITIONS The room remains under the same general conditions for this week's reports: 🌸 Flowering — Week 13 💡 Light schedule — 12/12 💡 Future of Grow Black Series LEDs — upgraded setup 🔌 Approx. lighting output — ~59% from the plug ☀️ Upper-canopy PPFD — ~1,500 🌡️ Day temperature — ~27°C 🌙 Night temperature — ~26°C 💧 Relative humidity — ~61% ⚗️ pH — ~6.04 ⚡ EC — ~2.05 mS/cm 🌡️ Solution temperature — ~25°C 🌱 Substrate temperature — ~25°C 🌬️ CO₂ — ~693 ppm 🌱 Pot size — 15 L 💦 Irrigation — ~1.45 L per plant / 24h Same room. Same environment. Same ecosystem. Same lighting. Same feeding. Different phenotype. And this phenotype is moving fast. ──────────────────────── 🌸 Big Flowers — Bigger Personality There's something really satisfying about watching this girl now. Earlier in the cycle, we were watching her build. Now we're watching what she built mature. The flowers are substantial. The structure is established. The main cola is huge. The pistils are changing. The leaves are beginning to fade. And the resin is still shining. This is where the whole plant starts coming together. All those weeks of: 🌱 Growth 💡 Photons 💧 Irrigation 🌸 Flower development 🌿 Leaf production ❄️ Resin development ...are now becoming visible in the final structure. And Chem Brûlée Pheno A has built herself something pretty impressive. ──────────────────────── 🔥 The Wild Girl Is Entering The Final Stretch I think "wild girl" is probably the best way to describe her now. 😂🔥🍮 She's not slowing down. She's changing quickly. She's showing maturity. She's fading. She's carrying that huge main cola. And she's doing all of it with that same individuality we've been following since the beginning. I don't know exactly how much longer she has. And I'm not going to pretend I do. But I can say this: She's getting close enough that we're starting to think seriously about the final feeding decisions. And that's exciting. Because after all these weeks... we're getting close to seeing the final version of Chem Brûlée Pheno A. ──────────────────────── 📸 The Studio Treatment And honestly... this girl deserves photographs. 😂📸🍮 Because when a plant reaches this stage, you start noticing things that weren't visible earlier. The flower structure. The density. The changing pistils. The fading leaves. The resin. The size of that main cola. And the contrast between the remaining green foliage and the parts that are beginning to change colour. This is exactly why I love documenting the plants week after week. The photographs aren't just decoration. They're the timeline. They're the evidence. They're the memory of the journey. And Chem Brûlée has given us one hell of a timeline. ──────────────────────── 🔬 Same Room — Different Finish Lines We're getting deeper into one of the most fascinating parts of the experiment now. Because the girls are not finishing together. Some are further ahead. Some are behind. Some are moving quickly. Some are taking their time. And Chem Brûlée Pheno A? She's clearly one of the girls moving quickly toward the final stage. Same room. Same environment. Same lighting. Same nutritional philosophy. And yet... her own timeline. That's genetics. That's phenotype expression. And that's exactly why we documented twelve separate diaries. If we had only one plant, we'd have one story. With twelve? We get twelve. And this girl has a particularly wild one. 😂🍮🔥 ──────────────────────── 🌿 We're Not Going To Force The Finish Even though we're getting close, I'm still not interested in forcing anything. No artificial deadline. No: "Week 13 means we must do X." No. We're going to watch. We're going to observe. And if she continues telling us she's entering the final stage... we'll respond. The possible reduction or stopping of feeding is coming very soon. But for now? Everything remains stable. Let her keep doing her thing. She's clearly capable of telling us when she's ready. ──────────────────────── 🔭 Looking Ahead Now I'm genuinely excited about the next chapter. Because we're getting close. The leaves are fading. The hairs are changing. The flowers are becoming denser and more mature. The main cola is huge. And the plant is moving fast. So the next few updates could become very interesting. How much further will those flowers develop? How much more will the foliage change? How will the resin develop? When will we finally say: "Okay, girl. That's enough. You're ready." I don't know yet. And I don't want to guess. Let's let her tell us. Because she's been pretty loud lately. 😂🍮🔥 ──────────────────────── ❤️ FINAL THOUGHTS — LET THE BEAST SHINE Week 13. And Chem Brûlée Pheno A has officially entered beast mode. 😂🔥🍮 She's wild. She's beautiful. She's moving fast. She's changing. She's fading. She's maturing. And she's carrying one absolutely massive main cola. The hairs are changing. The flowers are becoming denser. The plant is clearly entering the final stage. And honestly? I'm loving every minute of it. She's not the biggest plant in the room. She's not trying to be. She doesn't need to be. Because what she's built is impressive enough. A medium-sized plant with some serious flowers. A huge main cola. Beautiful secondary flowers. Plenty of resin. Changing pistils. And now those beautiful signs of maturity beginning to appear throughout the plant. So... let's make her shine. Let's give this wild girl the spotlight. Let's appreciate everything she's built. Let's appreciate the colours. Let's appreciate the flowers. Let's appreciate that monster main cola. Let's appreciate the frost. And let's enjoy the fact that after thirteen weeks... we're finally getting close enough to see where this story is heading. 🍮❄️🌸🔥💚 For now... we keep the room stable. We keep watching. We keep documenting. And very soon, we may stop feeding her and allow the final chapter to unfold. But not yet. For now... she's still working. And she's doing one hell of a job. Keep shining, Chem Brûlée Pheno A. Keep doing your wild thing. We're watching. 🔥🍮🌸💚 ──────────────────────── 🙏 THANK YOU A huge thank you to Zamnesia for giving us the opportunity to explore these Chem Brûlée genetics and follow this individual phenotype throughout the 8×8 Adventure. 🌸🙏 Thank you to Plagron for supporting the nutritional side of the journey and providing the tools behind this flowering cycle. A massive thank you to Future of Grow for the Black Series lighting and especially for supplying the two additional Black Series 600W fixtures we're testing in this room. 💡🙏 Thank you to Lumiflora for adding another dimension of light deeper into the canopy. Thank you to TrolMaster for helping us monitor and manage the environment behind the scenes. And, of course... thank you to everyone following this crazy 8×8 Adventure here on GrowDiaries. Every week we discover something new. A different structure. A different rhythm. A different phenotype. A different finish. And now we're entering one of the most exciting parts of the entire experiment: Watching these girls approach the end in completely different ways. Chem Brûlée Pheno A? She's doing it like a beast. 😂🔥🍮 Fast. Wild. Frosty. Dense. And carrying one hell of a main cola. She's fading. She's changing her hairs. She's moving toward the final stage. And soon enough... we'll see exactly what all these weeks of photons, nutrition, environment, patience and genetics have created. Until then... we keep watching. We keep learning. We keep documenting. And we let the plant write the final pages. Keep shining, wild girl. You've earned the spotlight. Growers Love & Happy Growing! 🌱💚🍮❄️🔥

Frisian Dew / Outdoor 2025
Update – Frisian Dew Trim Hash I processed the trim from this outdoor run into bubble hash using the ice water method, inspired by Frenchy Cannoli. The material wasn’t great – quite a few larger leaves with little to no resin – but still yielded a decent amount. Most of it came from the 73 and 25 micron bags, while 120/160 had very little. Could’ve probably pushed it further with longer washes, but after a few hours I called it. I dried the material and pressed it into small “temple balls.”

**Encontrarás la traducción a español al final de la descripción** If you like this week, please hit a like, it costs you nothing! 👊. Thanks in advance 😉! From/Desde: 16/09/19 || To/Hasta: 22/09/19 From day/Desde día: 56 || To day/Hasta día: 62 -----IMAGES & VIDEOS----- V1 - Compiled all growing timelapses into a complete growing video, hope you like it mates!. V2 - My apologies about the quality of this video buddies, I didn't choose a very good place to record it, and also the GoPro released the manual configured blocked exposure, so there are many color differences among days, as every day upon lights on the GoPro make a new exposure and temp adjustment (The light is 3,000k i don't know why the GoPro read it different daily). V3 - I'm still learning to record some cool videos, as for example @MyrceneDream ones 👊, and many others.... I'm not doing it well at time. -----WEEK SUMMARY----- Hard work times drain my time for the plants and to make content, sorry about that. At last flowering started, as can be shown in the weekly video, the first 3 days after the full switch to 12, she stayed in a frozen state, no much growing or movement at all. Since the 4th day she started to grow at high speed, a bit more than a cm/day. She's really looking awesome, making some bold branches and defining every part of the plant very well. Some weeks ago I told that the smell went too strong at home, but it lowered to normal levels last week, now she's smelling more and more each day again ;). I can say about Alice.K, that I had 0 problems or weird things along the current 9 weeks, she suffered very high temperatures, some insects, and also i'm going hard with nutes, I'm cycling EC reaching 2 sometimes, and she didn't show any excess signs at time, I'm not telling that they're not going to exist on Alice, but not at time, if i see some, i will stop and re-adjust. Also she has responded very well to every prune or cut I've maded to her, and the distribution is perfect, I'm in love with the form she developed. while i was thinking on 4 external main colas with 12 secondary decent Satellites, she's developing 2 awesome central colas, with 4 secondary and very decent sub-colas, and then 10 excellent satellites, and many small ones that i will cut later on (Already cutted many below the SCROG net). -----WATERING CALENDAR----- 18/09/19 (Day 58) - 3,000 ml with Tarantula, Piranha, Rhino Skin, Big Bud, Bud Candy & Bud Ignitor @ (1.1 E.C. | PH 6 | 25.7ºC) 22/09/19 (Day 62) - 4,000 ml with Silica Power, Organic Bloom, PK Booster, Bloom Stimulator, Pro Active, Bud Ignitor, Bud Candy, Bud Factor X & Sensizym @ (2.1 E.C. | PH 6 | 25,7ºC) 22/09/19 (Día 62) - 4.000 ml con Silica Power, Organic Bloom, PK Booster, Bloom Stimulator, Pro Active, Bud Ignitor, Bud Candy, Bud Factor X & Sensizym @ (2,1 E.C. | PH 6,4 | 25,8ºC)

*=UPDATED=* Not to much to add this week, I plucked a lot of the lower leaves off to prevent them from getting to close to the growing medium and having some disease issues, plus increases some air flow. Also plucked a few of the top fan leaves that where blocking the lower buds from the light. Don't think this is proper defoliation so I did not check it off as a grow technique. The plants are really starting to smell more and get a lot of trichomes on them. When I'm in the case and smell each plant, they all have different terpene profiles. one is very lemon and pine with a hint of sweetness, one is quite sweet and berry like with lemon notes "my fav", another is just more so woodsy pine smell and the last one is mildly sweet smelling with something else I could not pinpoint. one setback is the case fan I was using died out, i think the heat inside the tent and operating for so long got to it, it was an older fan to start off with so not overly surprising. It started to have a hot electric smell to it, like wires or rubber getting to hot. I manage the case heat by propping its door open on a angle. still keeps temps at 25c (77f) Other then that I don't think they grew to big vs last week, one plant is starting to get some more purple in it, I like purple colour on buds. maybe the leaf plucking set it back a bit, can't imagine the plant would enjoy that happening to it. Trying to post little fly over videos every week of the case to give better idea of plants and what they are looking like. will try and get a macro lens closer to trichomes and see what they are doing in terms of clear cloudy and amber for next week, may give me a hint as if ill harvest week after that. *=UPDATE=* I didn't want to wait till next week to post trichomes so took some photos with a clip-on Macro lens for my phone, not the best but looks pretty cool. mostly all cloudy from what I can tell. one plant has a bit of amber on its sugar leaves but not its bud.

Filling out the trellis net. Looks like another 2-3 weeks until I flip the ladies. Using SST’s, LABS and natural inputs for this grow. I have made some mistakes in the past using Organics, but have figured out HOW to use them for an entire grow. The vegetative state, I have never had a problem with. The transition into the first 3 weeks is when I have had the most issues. After a little research and testing, I finally have a basic blue print of how to feed plants in flower for 10-12 weeks now or shorter. Mark Bowell from Perfect Gardens on YouTube and Mr Canucks Grow from Canada are my largest information inputs. Final Thank you to Mr McGooz for keeping me in the know. 10-11: yes, some of the stalks are turning purple. This is not due to phosphorus, magnesium, or any deficiency. It is due to the light being too intense for the plants. I am at the max distance and running the light at 30% ( it’s a 600 watt 🤣🤣). Soooo yeah, that purple is going to stay for a bit. Purple with other leaf discoloration or senescence IS a problem, purple stems with NO leaf issues isn’t serious issue. Cant it be fixed? We are going to find out….Photosynthesis Plus will be on hand in the next 5-6 days. This permits the plant to USE more of the photons ( yes, I have carbon in my media). This should minimize the purple and allow me to UP THE WATTS 🗣️🗣️ 10-14: spoke to my “guide” and we made the decision to go ahead and flower these ladies. We saw how much stretch there is to be had and realized we are currently filling the trellis by 75%. We are estimating the entire 4x4 area to be completely filled. I defoliated and pruned the smaller sites off the lower areas of the plant. Not quite lollipopping, just selectivity choosing sites to keep and bones that will get in the way. For transition I am using a ratio of 1:1:1 on NPK’s to ease the flip. The ppm’s will be between 750-800. Once we reach early flower, we switch the NPK’s to 1:3:2 ( flower girl by Dr Earth OR Fish bone meal and langbenite). I switch each feeding between the two for 5-6 weeks. At week 7 we switch to 0:3:3 ( seabird guano and Langbeinite) at 500 ppm’s. Week 8 the same feed. Week 9 kelpseaweed/water Only ( these are 10 week cultivars). Thank you for taking the time to read. 10-16 😍😍😍 Plants are starting to show deficiencies!!! Yes, normally one freaks out 😂😂😂 The slight deficiency is a sign that I can go ahead and start: The Flowering Cycle. When using Organics, you have to use your eyes because nothing is specific. Meaning: you have to see when the amendments are running out to A: Top Dress B. Make compost teas. We are going the compost tea route for flower. I made a video showing exactly what I use. The ratio is 5-5-5 ( yes earlier we were going to use 2-2-2, but we found out there is no calcium or magnesium in the all purpose mix by Dr Earth…another reason to learn to read your plants).

Zamnesia Trio
Strains: Zamnesia – Strawberry Cough | Kalini Asia | Permanent Marker Grow Type: Indoor Plants: 3 Pot Size: 16 Gallon & 13 Gallon Medium: Coco Coir & Perlite Nutrient Line: Athena Week 4 Flower Update We’re in week 4 now and things are starting to look real nice. Buds are filling out properly and you can see them starting to take shape across all three plants. Frost is beginning to come in as well, not heavy yet but definitely showing up and getting more noticeable. I did notice a slight nutrient burn on the tips of some leaves nothing crazy, just a little sign that they’re getting a bit more than they need. I’ll dial the nutrients back slightly and keep things in check. Nothing to stress about. Other than that, everything is running smooth. Plants look healthy, structure is holding up, and they’re right where they should be at this stage. Really looking forward to seeing how they swell up over the next couple weeks. Feeding Volume: 6L pH: 6.0 PPM: 900–950 ppm (slightly reduced) Frequency: As neede Indoor Climate Conditions (Flowering) 🌡️ Temperature: 26°C day / 18°C night 💧 Humidity: 45–50% 📈 VPD: 1.3–1.5 kPa Coming into that good part of flower now 🔥 let’s see them stack up 🌿
Super Skunk fem.

Huge week in the tent. Lollipopping. Defoliation. Redid the LST ties. Added height to the plants to level the canopy. Added the blumats self watering setup. The tent got a total makeover. They look healthy otherwise.
New Room
Great news they all have names! Please welcome Samantha, Ana, Nerea, Lucia and Ella to the group! So it has been a week of playing around with free-standing water, heating, and airflow and now it seems we have finally found the sweet spot with a humidifier up high. It seems like I don't even need the extraction fan at the moment as there is a reasonable amount of pull coming out of the hole at the top, so much so that the door is actually being sucked in. Just trying to find the right height for the light. After a bit of research, I have decided on 80cm which I will lower bit by bit each day heading towards 50cm. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. 🙏💪 Also in my search, I found that according to Jorge Cervantes 24 hour light is a waste of electricity for the extra growth you get so I have reduced the schedule to 18-6.
