End of the third week of the stretch and they certain out did stretch indeed😳. Had to crop over the tallest female - she just stretched wayyy too much and that’s gonna go against her in the rankings when we draw out our seed on each plant. The first male has dropped fully and the others are another 1-2 days out from harvest. We’ll collect all that pollen and store it for future use if it’s needed. The plants are all showing both similarities and differences - there’s an even distribution of sativa and indica leaning phenos which suggests that there is def. Some variability in terms of traits for this F1 generation. Exactly what we were looking for as we pare this down to the second filial generation. On the overall growth - absolutely no issues at all with nutritional deficiencies which is a welcome change of pace. The last while we’ve been growing some strains that have shown very odd reactions to nute changes and I suspect this is a result of certain strains simply being bred out too far. Hard to say but the radar is definitely up with the well known breeders right now. We have some real winner pheno clones that we’ve rooted and will be flowering out once we get this tent cleaned up and free of pollen. All told, the run is progressing much better than anticipated and with the rate of turnover through transition, I’m happy to say that there isn’t any one plant I won’t consider test running on the next cycle. We did have some og auto genetics in the tent for pollination as well but that plant is looking like a bit of a mutant. Not sure if we’ll even bother with testing it at this point but you never know. Expect a harvest update on the males as we move in to the flowering side of the grow and then it’s just waiting around for seed👍. Alls well for now. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. После тренировок принято решение поднять ппм до 750-800 и пш 5.9—выход ппм 700-670 , пш 5.6. Наблюдаем дальше , почтение очень красивое и пушистое . 02.08.23-Сделал сильную дефолиацию , растение очень компактное с небольшими листьями и выглядит как зеленей шар ) Все колы находятся на одном расстоянии . Честно говоря это мой любимый цветок 🌹 увеличил ппм до 900 и дал больше места для растяжки ! В планах дать еще 4 недели вегетации и сделать из нее монстра )

OMG! So happy i finally harvested! Shakira and Gertrudes are two fat girls! The whole growing process was smooth. Both plants had nutrient deficiencies late flowering but it was my fault because I wasn't feeding them :p the problem stopped when I started using calmag and the bloom/micro. They were string from the begining: i drowned them when they were seedlings, one of them had some mold in the root at that time. But, as soon as I changed pits and corrected my watering there was nothing to worry about. I struggled to observe the trichomes with my cellphone camera hahahahhaha, i still think they're 30% clear but when I noticed a couple of amber ones it was my cue to turn off the lights! I'm not a fan of couch lock effect, so let's see how it went. I'm sure the amber trichomes were not even 10%, so I guess I'm good. Also, i chopped my plants when they completed exactly 77 days from the moment they showed up above the ground. Humidity was a bitch and with a small tent I had no alternative but to use a small dehumidifier from Amazon. It did NOT help that much. I hope they can dry with humidity around 75%, I'm having one small fan blowing on too of them (i know I'm not supposed to but it's 100% outside). Reaching 55 seems like an intangible dream :( I enjoyed the while process of growing, it was easy but i got paranoid far too many times. On the other hand I DETESTED to trim it. Im exhausted, my shoulders hurt and I have NO IDEA if I did it too much or not enough. Hoping drying and curing to be smooth as well. Ginger nut cookies and Aussie Music Videos update 20th Feb 2020 On Monday just past, I started to leave this plant out at night thus reducing light hours to the same as a regular outdoors Plant. This should induce flowering as all my other Photoperiod dependent strains are now in Flowering mode. Thru the use of Topping and LST training I have managed to create lots of potential bud sites for this plant to develop into lovely sticky and stinky Buds. Later on today I will do some more LST & As soon as I see pistils developing I will begin to add P+K to the soil by using Guano , Mollasses , Liquid potash, comfrey teas ,Compost teas and Worm castings. The smell of the stems is increasing in strength and has a blend of Red diesel stink mixed with cookies dankness. 😛 Now for the Weekly Music Videos yes I say videos because there will be three 🙏 Last week I chose The Divinyls but this week I thought I would do something different and ask the People what they wanted to hear. Flowered during winter and i payed the price

This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.

06/04/23 Day 50 I'm quite happy despite the beginnings and doubts. For sure I did well to not cut the unexpected plant that germinated within the clay and get out close to the normal place with her sibling! 08/04/2023 I begin to lower the EC to 1.3, 75% light. I started with GHE Ripen.

Buds are flowering up super nice! Had a tiny issue where I thought it was much worse then it was (I got sum water on the leaves and it burnt circle shaped burns on them) I worried it was a fungal disease or something. I removed the leaves in a panic, and since haven't had any issues! Anyway the smell is amazing already I'm getting notes I really didn't expect to smell on a Superboof cross! Almost remiscent of Creature Feature or Acapulco Gold with a bit more gas! It is only week 4, so ideally the Terps should transform. I am loving it so far The bud structure is looking amazing, the top nugs are almost spear shaped which is really cool, some of the buttom bugs are almost spear shaped as well but more circle/fat. Standard nug look. It's beginning to stack some frost on as well! I have a good idea the nugs are going to have a nice lumpy - spear shaped buds. Almost looks as if the tops are foxtailing which would be really cool too! Amazing genetics. Every issue I've encountered has been so quickly corrected and bounced back. No herms, definently high grade genetics and I'm happy to be working with Homegrown Genetics to be able to post this seed to harvest and share with everyone!

Things are going great buds are getting more and more sugary everyday very soon they will be very strong in smell

Gave it some water yesterday with some herculean harvest, clean fruits, terpinator and grozyme and kinda flushed it out just to try and prevent build up. It's starting to fatten up a little bit now. All the purples are Putang crosses or mandarin cookies R1V2 #2.

Day 63 of flower. I started the flush. I'm very satisfied with the grow, the cookies Is fattening up day by day..She Is so frosty and smell so good. Huge top colas by the way..9 on 15 off as light schedule. Maybe i Will flower her till day 70 or 77.
