Wall of Green method cycle documentation
With the plants entering their final stages, inspections were increased significantly. The Wall of Green canopy had developed exactly as hoped. Dense flowers, large colas and a surprisingly uniform wall of bloom were visible across nearly the entire setup. While these characteristics were highly encouraging, they also increased the need for caution under tropical conditions. During these final inspections, a small number of suspicious spots were identified. Nothing dramatic, but enough to raise concerns about potential quality loss if flowering was extended further. At this stage, the Wall of Green concept had already demonstrated what it needed to demonstrate. The question was no longer how much additional weight could be added, but how much quality could be preserved. The decision was therefore made to harvest. The final wet harvest weight came in at approximately 5.4 kilograms. One thing that became immediately obvious during harvest... Production was distributed across virtually the entire wall. There were very few unproductive or empty areas within the canopy. Multiple productive stems emerged from nearly every planting pocket. Yield was not concentrated in a small number of exceptional plants but spread across the system. Large numbers of medium-to-large colas were visible throughout the wall. Flower production extended along much of the main stem length rather than being limited to the top cola. After defoliation, surprisingly little space appeared wasted on excessive side branching or non-productive growth. One of the biggest surprises was how much flower mass became visible after harvest preparation. The actual distribution of buds along the stems proved more impressive than many individual cola photographs had suggested during flowering. A second unexpected observation was simply how comfortable the harvest process turned out to be. The vertical layout placed most of the work at a convenient height. With relatively few side branches and most production occurring directly on the main stems, trimming and harvest preparation involved far less bending and awkward positioning than I am accustomed to. Acknowledgements This run also benefited from some products that deserve mention. Plagron Lightmix proved to be an excellent substrate throughout the grow. Given the limited root volume available to each clone, substrate performance was particularly important. The plants established quickly, maintained vigor and showed little sign of stress despite the unconventional setup. While many factors contributed to the outcome, Lightmix may well have been one of the key ingredients behind the success of this Wall of Green experiment. Bio Nova X-Cel was used during the early stages to support root development in the clones. It fit seamlessly into the feeding program and helped the young plants establish quickly, providing a solid foundation for the cycle that followed. Plagron Alga Bloom formed the backbone of the flowering nutrition program. Easy to use, reliable and consistent throughout bloom, it allowed the plants to perform without unnecessary complexity. Godfather OG itself also deserves some recognition. Throughout this project the focus was often on the Wall of Green methodology rather than the cultivar. Nevertheless, Godfather OG consistently displayed strong vigor, excellent cloning consistency, heavy resin production and a remarkably uniform growth pattern. Under tropical outdoor conditions, it proved itself to be a dependable and highly productive variety. Final Thoughts The harvest is complete, but the evaluation is not. The final conclusions regarding dry yield, canopy efficiency, root development, plant density and the overall performance of the Wall of Green system will be reserved for the Final Dry Weight Update. Only after drying, weighing and examining the root zone will it be possible to determine what this experiment truly achieved. For now, the scissors are down, the flowers are hanging, and the waiting begins. Final Dry Weight Update: Coming Soon. ------------------------------------------------ I'd like to thank everyone for following this grow and for all the great comments along the way. Your support, advice, and encouragement have been greatly appreciated. The harvest video is now live on YouTube. If you have a moment to watch it, I'd really appreciate a like and /or a comment on the video. You can find it through the YouTube channel link on my profile page. Thank you all for being part of this journey!
Green Gelato
Week 10 Flower After 4 whole weeks of flush this girl has finally met the scissors ✂️ It took her quite some time to fade out, but after cutting down the most faded half of the plant that was closest to the light on Day 65, and then the rest on Day 70 it was long enough. I'm very impressed with how fat and chunky this girl has become. I wasn't expecting quite this size from first look at her thinner stems and branchy structure earlier in flower, but her buds have swelled up nonetheless and she's stacked well. I always cut my girls down around half an hour (or a bit more) before the lights are due to turn on. This prevents her from starting any chlorophyll production in order to maintain the best flavour and burn. Only a few fans were taken off before being left to hang dry as she's absolutely covered in trichomes! Don't throw away your sugar trim (leaves with trichomes) as this can later be used for dry sift, which can then be pressed for some dank rosin. Harvest update coming soon! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

8/5 -Fed both plants with bloom nutrient solution. Lowered the concentration of nutrients by 1 mL/gal--14 mL/gal seemed to be too concentrated. -Cream Cookies is just exploding with growth. As she gets older she's getting much less sensitive to things like watering--super healthy looking. -Ca deficiency spots have not worsened or spread which is exactly what I was looking to see. Last week I raised the pH of the nutrient solution to 6.25 immediately after seeing those deficiency spots--nutrient solution pH was too low and consequently locked out calcium. Fixed the issue and the plants are doing amazing. -Cheese has seemed to stopped explosive vertical growth and instead focusing on flowering. Going to do some more defoliation this week to bring the light down under the canopy. -Cream Cookies canopy was beginning to become uneven with respects to even height-some heavy LST was done on all of the nodes (>10) to again even out the canopy height. Cream cookies is going to go through its second stretch very soon. 8/6 -Cream Cookies is going through a hardcore stretch. Going to do some LST once the super stretching subsides. -Cookies is filling out and I have a feeling is going to go through another stretch soon. -Plants still look extremely healthy--really amazing how hearty these plants are. -The time lapse videos I've been making have been hugely helpful in identifying patterns in the plants' growth. It helps me identify when any drooping is just part of the normal day/night cycle of the plant. Its also really cool to see how it grows over time. -Fed both plants with 500mL nutrient solution 8/7 -Both plants responded to the most recent watering extremely well. The droop was no where near as substantial as past feedings. Makes me feel confident in nutrient solution concentration. Im not going to increase concentration of nutrient solution past 13 mL/gal. -LST done on Cream Cookies--some nodes were stretching and creating an uneven canopy. LST done to even out the canopy. -Defoliation and LST done on Cheese. Defoliation was done to allow for some light to penetrate the canopy and get to the lower bud sites. 8/9 -Both plants continue to absolutely thrive. They are both doing amazing. Great color. No issues so far. They are loving the nutrients, as am i. -Cream cookies is really really wanting to stretch to the stars right now which is kind of annoying since it makes making a even canopy rather difficult. -LST done on Cream cookies to even out the canopy. Pretty extreme LST--branches bent almost 90 degrees. -Cheese is a slow but steady grower. Seems to be focusing a lot on undergrowth rather than stretching which is good. Im hoping the main cola branches will be evenly distributed. -Cream cookies looks to have around 10 main cola nodes now. FIMing created 4 and LST brought the undergrowth nodes to the canopy. So very extremely happy with the FIM method. I personally don't even consider it a "High-Stress" training. Sure you cut the main stalk of the plant but its not like you are damaging the roots. Just new growth. ITs like a scrape for the plant, it just slaps a bandaid on and focuses on other growth instead. Super efficient training method. -Ive been doing defoliation around once a week to keep some breaks in the canopy to get light down into those node sites under the top of the main cola branches. -Cream cookies is around 2 inches taller than Cheese is with the evened out canopy which might become a problem as I continue to raise the lamp. Cream cookies is really stretching. 8/10 -Plants look amazing as always -Cheese raised 3' and put on "stilts" -Lamp raised back to 18 inches. -Both plants watered with 500mL nutrient solution -Cream cookies canopy FINALLY evened out. -Cheese LST evened the canopy out very well. Very happy with results.

05/03 - (C) - All the babies are coming along amazingly - They are in week 2 of early pre-flower and white hairs are setting in accordingly - Since the addition of the drip lines and keeping their feeds consistent they are thriving and coming into flower without any issues. 05/03 - (M) - The mother is also coming along nicely - Dense nuggs with heavy trichome build up on all the colas - I have increased her feeds to twice a day at 1 minute feeds per cycle. 05/07 - Disclaimer - Please disregard the weeks on the grow calendar as I am now they are offsetted for Mother - Clone harvest. 05/07 - (M) - Cutting down the mother this weekend, She seems to be suffering a bit from being ran so long (Lessoned learned) - Her buds are dense and frosty af!!😎😎😎- Her dry run will be as much as 60-60 can be (Low and Slow). 05/07 - (C) - Clones are in early flower running accordingly - since hooking them up to the Vivosun Drip system their feeds have become more consistent allowing them to feed on schedule - the feeds are offsetting clean water and nutrient feeds - They will continue to run in the 3x3 until the mother is dried out and harvested then they will be moved into the 4x4 - I will also increase "Cane Molasse" dosage to increase trichome production and facilitate and more robust terpene profile for all of them. 😎😎😎😎.. Peace and Bud..

At this stage, I introduced the SCROG and trained the branches as much as possible to achieve an even canopy, with uniform bud development and maximum coverage of the grow tent.
New genetics to select
Hey everyone 👍. Unfortunately, a big mistake happened to me. I forgot to do the update weeks ago and have now lost the old pictures 😭, so unfortunately there will be harvest pictures of the leftovers on the whole grow 😥. I can report positives about the strain as far as growing is concerned, but unfortunately not my type of strain that I like. I will definitely try the variety again one day from another supplier :-).

Starting into Week 5 Flower, week 11 total Mandarin Cookies definitely has an extremely strong orange citrus smell! Trichomes are coming in very nicely! MC’s are still ahead of the SK’s... however the SK on the left is catching up, with the one on the right having some budlets starting to form. 3 - Madarin Cookies are two in back and one in center; 2 - Silver Kush are two up front; 2 gallons water/nutes per 5 plants, alternating with plain water (just calmag, malassis, Ph. 6.4) every other day. Ph.6.4 (1.5 C.F.) Fox Farm Ocean Forest, mixed with (1.5 C.F.) garden soil, fills (5) 5 galllon fabric pots perfectly. (50/50 mix.) The new version of Spider Farmer SF-4000 is an awesome light, for anyone wondering. Can’t say enough good things about this light! Way less heat that any HPS/MH I’ve used. My big curiosity is about the final weight per watts used at finish for the Spider Farmer... UPDATE Week 5, Day 6: I did notice some heat stress on only a few of the taller branches (they were about 6” from the light). I did move the light a little further up about 4” to get some distance, and added an extra fan. Hope this helps the leaf curling! Question: have you ever driven past a house and can instantly tell they just harvested?? Ha! I just did that on my way home, and thought I was smelling my house from a long distance away.
Barney’s farm. Blue dream. Orange mimosa punch. Pineapple Express
2 weeks since germination. Ppm 225 for dwc. One blue dream showing calmag deficiency. Slight stretching. Otherwise healthy. Roots just peaking out of the net pots. Harvested a sample of my jelly donutz early. Still drying

crazy week found drain gnats which explains the green hue of some of my plants the larve are attacking the roots raising the p.h. and the diffecencies are showing in the leaves being lighter and or brown dots on the leaves. using mosquito dunks and spraying neem oil washing the roots to help these ladies out. also im doing things different with the soil vs dwc, i havent done much if any defoliating with potted plants just letting them grow only mainlined once and since in flower very light if any defoliating. any questions comments information feel free to ask or inform im open to critque

Day 80, 2nd of December 2020: Wao one week she changed a lot. Buds are nice getting there to be read. The whole plant is great nice genetics but this time it seems that I will miss the red colour and she is a green pheno. Well, let's see it may turns to be red in the last 2 weeks of her flower cycle. However, I am super happy even if she remains green lol. All good the lamp is now on 11 hours and off 13 hours. Every week 15 minutes was taken off and after 4 weeks here we go. Strated 12/12 and now 13/11 wanted try to imitate the nature as the light days are getting shorter. Fertilization has changed no more epsom salt from this week and I will stop giving nitrogen as well from next week. Great job Sweet Seeds. Nice genetics :)

D85/FD57 - Should probably put this week down as a "Harvest Week" but hopefully some more to save, even though it will be smaller stuff - right now with the dead loss, everything counts! Really sad too as the plant was looking great!!! Some nice pink flowers in there, just a real pity about its mold resistance!!! :/ Would maybe consider this one more time for a grow when I get the new extraction in but yeah, disappointed is not the word! On the plus side, tent humidity has dropped a fair bit!!! With the work last night culling the Cookies, I was lazy tonight, just did an add back (Didnt clean the Wilma out like I do every week). Put in at normal ratio's but as the base water was EC0.7 (Rather than 0.2), the same recipe took me up to 1.5 (I should have adjusted but seeing as I dont know whats out, i'd rather give enough of whats needed and just dilute through the week (even if daily!!!). Expecting water consumption to drop now with the cookies halved in size and now just waiting on the rest ripening! Lets hope this is the last pain til I get this tent emptied out and cleaned down for a winter run!!! Anyway, happy growing all!!! 💪

Buds plumping up now the tallest of the 3 strains I’m running now but it’s also the least in diameter and canopy density but it’s good for the density it has I still have to defoliate but no where near as often as say the Alaskan purple witch I have to pull 5 to 8 leaves a day and no matter how many you pull the center of the plants like a jungle.
