02.07.25. Day 77 2 phenos have dense buds the other 2 I think just needs time to catch up. The smell is amazing, sweet with slight citrus. Buds are sticky. Fresh reservoir change out today. Trichomes are looking cloudy. I think now will be good time to harvest, however I want to push them some more. I will begin flushing after this week, or if trichomes say other wise. 5.08.25. Day 80 Today I added a sound of bees buzzing (10hr youtube video) in the tent. I saw documentary (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=E8SJlyrEDX0&t=8s) of plants where plants produced sweeter nectar when exposed to this low frequency noise compared to those that was not. It is said the plant does this in an effort to attract pollinator. I am not sure how much truth there is to it however it seems logical. In another section of the documentary the plant roots was also able to hear water. Anywhere the speaker was placed with same low frequency of water the roots grew in that direction. Amazing.

Everywhere I read it was 7 weeks to flower..Red Diesel still has like 3 to 4, I read around 9 weeks for that.. I’ll jus keep eye on tricomes.. But thank God everything is good ..

|»» LOG DISCLAIMER: Not intended as a grow guide. Grow log entries are usually posted 3-4 weeks later and are for my learning reference. ««| Introduction - Week 16 Summary - Ensign's log, stardate 17717.2, Another week in the garden.. In the main tent, nothing but general checkups for the most part. Chill Out OG seems to have stopped stretching by the end of the week and buds have already started to swell up. The rest of the phenos in the tent have been showing clear signs of flowering, but are also still stretching. Towards the end of the week, had to supper crop Heady OG. As for the veg tent, been keeping up with solo cup waterings. Also re-amended the 7-gallon pots and reduced them down to 3-gallons. Also took more mother clone cuttings which were planted into Coco Coins and are now rooting in the propagation tray. I usually try to keep everything in these logs strictly for growing, but I recently lost my Father... Peace and good memories Dad. The grow continues on in your memory and for your legacy. Time to mix up the top dress for the main tent! --- Considering the plants are just at the end of the stretch phase, going to top dress for bloom. - [17:16]: Took the 5-gallon bucket with the fresh veg trimmings and added: ------ 9 cups of BuildASoil Worm Castings ------ 2 cups of Craft Blend ------ 1 cup of Gnarly Barley [Freshly Milled From Whole] ------ 1/2 cup of: --------- Ocean Blend [& Trace Minerals] --------- Premium Insect Frass [Black Soldier Fly] --------- Kashi Blend --- Mixed the amendments and set the bucket aside for later. - [17:42]: Time to re-amend both 7-gallon pots and reduce them down to 3-gallon pots. --- Took a spare 20-gallon fabric pot along with a drip tray and set them on the floor. --- Then one at a time, took each 7-gallon pot and removed the straw mulch along with Ecowitt soil sensor. No need to spray the top growth. - [18:44]: Checked the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data: ------------------ [ 3x3 VEG TENT – GR3 ] ---------------- ------ 50% - [CH01 » M1 » VBL – Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 52% - [CH02 » M2 » VBR – Dry Soil] ------ 51% - [CH03 » M3 » VFL – Chill Out OG #3] ------ 50% - [CH04 » M4 » VFR – Chill Out OG #2] ----------------- [ 4x4 MAIN TENT – GR30 ] --------------- ------ 50% - [CH05 » P1 » FLT – Chill Out OG #2] ------ 61% - [CH06 » P1 » FLB – Chill Out OG #2] ------ 50% - [CH07 » P2 » BLT – TKO #2-2] ------ 60% - [CH08 » P2 » BLB – TKO #2-2] ------ 50% - [CH09 » P3 » FRT – Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 71% - [CH10 » P3 » FRB – Heady OG BX1 #1] --------- Veg: ~38%-45% | Flower: ~45%-55% --------- General: ~30% [Dry] «| ~45-60% [Moist] |» ~70% [Wet] --- Also updated the veg tent’s soil sensor names a bit. - [19:10]: Checked the 4x4 tent. --- Garden is looking good and growth is green. --- The under canopy is looking nice and clean as well. - [19:19]: Checked on the BluMat soil moisture sensors: ------ Chill Out OG #2 » 49mbars ------ Heady OG BX1 #1 » 37mbars ------ TKO #2 » 47mbars --------- Watering Range: [Too Wet] ~25mbars «| [Ideal Target] ~40-80mbars |» ~125mbars [Too Dry] --------- BluMat Max Values: [10mbars «||» 750mbars] - [19:57]: Checked on the mulch bucket, --- Hmm. --- The mixture felt warmer than room temps (which was around 80-85°F). --- Took the top dressing’s temperature using a digital thermometer. ------ Soil Temp: 124°F --- Woah that’s hot! Just beyond mesophilic compost and was almost turning thermophilic. --- While gloves, mixed the top dressing and could feel the warmth. Surprisingly the center was really warm in temperature. --- Did not expect the top dressing to start warming up, but it makes sense since the bucket contains greens and browns (trimmings and straw) along with a compost (worm castings). The dry amendments also helped to activate the biology in the mixture. --- Pretty cool! --- Well. Was planning on top dressing, but going to wait for the top dressing to cool down which could be several days. - [20:04]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. 18.04. F8 Flower Day 8 – Defoliation & Lollipopping Today a full cleanup and structural adjustment was carried out. Plants were defoliated and lollipopped to remove lower growth and improve airflow and light penetration. At the same time, branches were trained further to achieve a flat and even canopy. The full 1.2 × 1.2 area is now nearly filled, which should allow for optimal light usage going forward. Timing feels right, as the stretch is still ongoing but structure is now set for the flowering phase. From here on, the focus will be on maintaining the canopy and monitoring development as bud formation progresses. ——————— 22.04. F12 The plants are now transitioning from stretch into early bud development. First flower sites are clearly visible across the entire canopy. HST and training have resulted in a very even structure, with the 1.2 × 1.2 space fully utilized. The Autopot system is running consistently, supporting steady growth without fluctuations. The BioTabs setup continues to perform well, providing a stable organic environment. Plants are healthy, vigorous, and showing no signs of stress. The girls have grown so much and they already smell pretty good. I'm trying to decide if I should SCROG. I have a trellis net but it's just a net, not the boxy thing that I've seen others with. What do yall think, should I SCROG? GDP2 is in her 5th week. If she were the same age as GDP1 and BK, I'd flip them next week but I'll try waiting at least another couple of weeks to give her some time to grow a little more although she's catching up with the other 2 height. I'll be posting more throughout the week. 7/4/22: Defoliation... I know it's needed but they're my babies.... lololol 7/7/22: Look at my girls... they don't look like they've recently been defoliated. You can tell which ones are the Granddaddy Purples... they have a purple tint to them. The Bubba Kush is super green... 😍😘😍

So after consideration of the density of the buds and my night humidity levels— decided to chop a week early. Buds are super dense. Concern for mold. Very leafy lady- with massive fans She’s 10% amber but still some white pistols on the lowers. Very easy to grow. Stayed on the shorter side with minimal stretch—which is appreciated. I love how the Plagron Green Sensation is nitrogen free! I used it from weeks 3-6. Super helpful as the leaves were getting a little curl— even with minimal nutes. Will have harvest report soon. As terps can change after dry/cure. Happy with the results of the Runtz and Plagron! 🏻💚

9/6 Didn't do a video this morning. Went over again around noon and defoliated what needed it. I noticed what looked like stem mold on the special kush that those locusts have STRIPPED and saw what looked like mold but I left it and assumed it was just a bite out because it wad right at a node. I removed a major branch the other day. When I got back around noon the spot had tripled in size and was 100% mold. I cut that branch off too. It was a large main limb. The plant IS frosty but it's not ready. You cant see it but the calyx is pink. There are some branches that are completely stripped. They like the special kush for some reason and seem to target that. I should go over at night and see what I can see. Pink kush is flowering fairly aggressive. Not as much as the natural mk ultra though. I cant believe how fast those are exploding. As long as weather permits the pink kush will finish. I tried the special kush #1 which I'm almost done trimming and it wad amazing. Really eases anxiety and hits me square in the eyes. Very sedative happy strain. Tastes like pine, skunk and something I can't quite identify. Maybe the forest? I'm incredibly happy with the outcome. 9/7 Holy shit. It's STILL raining. Just for the ones that didn't hear it in the back, 'I' am so glad I harvested that plant when I did!" I got super lucky. I hate having to cut off limbs or come in the morning to find a branch eaten. Next year I'm 100% getting floating row covers. That will fix most problems. Buds are exploding in size. On everything. We've had some pretty high winds as well. The natural mk ultra continues to surprise me. It seems like the flowers get noticeable bigger day to day. Finally the pink kush has some small buds. This is an October strain though. I had already popped them or I would've been running more 10th planet or mk ultra. Hey maybe this strain will make it through the fall and give me some crazy quality nugs. It's an exciting time to be a cannabis grower. I processed and jarred that Special Kush #1. I trimmed almost everything. I have a jar of "smalls" buds that didn't come off a cola and another jar that is "trimmed" but needs to be "manicured" like the rest. I'll finish today and continue the curing process. It's always great to get an early phenome. Especially when it does what you want. Oh, I noticed a couple spots on leaves that COULD be septoria showing again. With all the rain I'm really not worried. I haven't been giving the preventative dose of Plant Doctor but I might do so when I need to water next. If I have a little while before harvest. That would help with budrot or any kind of fungal issue. I don't want to water when it's saturated. I'll wait until next water and even then I may not apply it. We shall see. EDIT: Stopped raining around 1 but it's been off and on. I shook everything off and found a pillar in one of the special kush plants. The one I had to cut to major limbs off. I got the moth larvae and removed all the debris inside. Did that with the other special kush and it was fine. I'm going over after dark to see what is munching on plants so fast. While I was removing the pillar a bird flew behind my head and grabbed something on the plant behind me. This morning a little feather was resting on a leaf. After the dive bomb I turned and found another. I can't help but smile. Nature can take her claim. It usually isn't much and I'm fine with that. The birds however are on my side. We've got a synergistic relationship. 9/8 Finally the rain ended. Didn't have time to take a video and everything was soaking wet. I'm noticing that things are getting a lot more frosty. I found my loupe so it will be easier to look at the trichs. The special kush that ive had to take two main limbs off (because they were totally stripped) is losing more. Long stalks with all the nodes eaten off with just the cola at the top. I'm not going to get much off this plant but I don't want to lose everything. The calyxes are pink and starting to retract. I'll take a look at it with my loupe when I get home. We are supposed to have a pretty good week. The natural mk ultra's buds are exploding in size! For the most part EVERYTHING is. It's going to be a good year. 9/9 Everything is exploding in growth. I'm doubting whether the pink kush will finish. I know I have the rest of September at least. Still losing a little bit on the 2 special kush. Not going to get much from them. I found my loupe and checked everything. One of them is done. As it shows in the video SOMETHING has been eating buds off right at the node. It happens much less after trichs start developing. That sk I had to cut two limbs off and IS done but I may not get over to grab it today. There's not much left. When i cut off the branches there was nothing on them. Hopfully the quality will make up for it. Both mk ultras are looking GREAT. Won't be long on the big mk ultra and the 10th planet. I'm planning on a staged harvest. The special kush I harvested is the bees knees but I'll wait for the smoke report to talj about it. 9/10 Had to shake the plants off. They were soaked and the fog was so thick I could barely see. I've got a two hour appt at 4pm and one at 930 this morning but I'm going to find a way to take that special kush that I had to cut those limbs off. It's done and I've reached diminishing returns with that plant. Buds are exploding but I've lost a lot. AR least what I get will be fire. The big mk ultra has tops that are done too. I'm thinkong I mat take some of those if I have time. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. The pink kush is flowering rapidly. It's in the low 40s at night so I think September will be the end of the season. I was hopingvfor more time bit we'll see. I'll keep things updated.

Aug 3: woohoo week two of flowering. Plant is definitely flowering and looks to be on its way to a strong finish. Very excited for this one and it looks very promising. Group pic is Cheese in front, Gelato, Gorilla Cookies, and Bruce Banner. Last two are 16 cola manifolds, and the front two are 8 colas. Aug 5: video shows use of 730 nm far red light as a bloom booster. A few seconds at dusk is all it takes. I use Civil Twilight as listed on timeanddate.com for my latitude each night. Currently getting 2 minutes earlier each night. The far red light at dusk, at the same point in the light cycle each night, causes the plant to go into dark mode about two hours faster. It’s like getting an extra two hours of darkness in a 26 h day. Works indoors and on autos too. Moves up flowering by about 3-4 weeks here. Don’t miss a night and keep it at the same relative time each night. This is sometimes called phyto-forcing. Easier than moving the plants into the garage each night. Aug 6: foliar spray of potassium silicate and Extreme Blend done in early evening. Plants drink a lot when it is hot and they’re this big and have been watering twice a day lately. Aug 7: did another round of compost tea this morning. Aug 9: defoliated the understory to improve airflow and remove shaded bits. Mostly fan leaves and popcorn bud sites with a few small branches that were growing in towards the centre.

👑 Godfather OG – Pheno A Week 6 | Wearing the Crown with Confidence Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! There are always a few plants in every grow that naturally draw your attention. Not because they're demanding it... But because they quietly command it. Godfather OG Pheno A continues to be one of those plants. Now standing at approximately 90 cm, she's become one of the tallest ladies in the room, carrying herself with a strong, elegant structure while moving confidently deeper into early flower. Every week she seems to add another layer to her personality. And this week, she revealed one of my favourite characteristics yet. 🌱 Growing Her Own Story For anyone joining this diary for the first time, welcome! This entire project is being grown using the 12/12 From Seed technique. Rather than providing a long vegetative period before flowering, every seedling receives twelve hours of light and twelve hours of darkness from the very beginning of life. Instead of deciding when flowering begins... ...I allow each phenotype to decide for herself. Some race into bloom. Others take their time building structure before committing their energy to reproduction. Watching those different strategies unfold inside the very same environment continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of this project. Nature always has her own plans. 👑 A Crown Begins to Form Flowering is now becoming impossible to miss. The main apex is beginning to stack fresh white pistils while the secondary branches are quickly following behind. Every growing tip is slowly transforming from vegetative growth into future flowers. Although these buds are still small, you can already start to imagine the shape they'll eventually become. This is one of my favourite stages of every grow. Each morning brings noticeable progress. Each day the plant looks just a little different than she did the day before. The excitement only continues to build. 🍃 Nine Fingers of Beauty One feature immediately caught my attention this week. Those incredible nine-fingered fan leaves. Large. Wide. Deep green. Absolutely beautiful. It's a question growers often ask: Do nine-fingered leaves mean indica or sativa? The honest answer is... Not necessarily. Leaf shape and leaflet count are influenced by both genetics and environmental conditions. While broad nine-fingered leaves are often associated with vigorous indica-leaning plants because of their wider leaflets, sativas and hybrids can produce nine, eleven, or even thirteen-fingered leaves as well when they're thriving. Rather than acting as a reliable indicator of lineage, high leaflet counts are often simply a sign that the plant is healthy, mature, and growing vigorously. In many ways, they're like a badge of confidence. When a plant has everything she needs—healthy roots, stable nutrition, proper lighting, and a balanced environment—she has the energy to produce these large solar panels that capture tremendous amounts of light. And that's exactly what these leaves are. Tiny power stations. Every one of them working around the clock to fuel the flowers that are only just beginning. 🌿 Strong Structure, Gentle Guidance Standing around 90 cm, Godfather OG Pheno A has continued stretching while maintaining excellent branch spacing throughout the canopy. The weeks of gentle Low Stress Training are paying off beautifully. Rather than forcing the plant into an unnatural shape, the goal has simply been to open the canopy and allow every future flower site its opportunity to receive direct light. Only small adjustments continue to be made. A little leaf tucking here. A gentle repositioning there. Sometimes the smallest interventions produce the biggest rewards later in flower. 🍽️ Feeding for the Next Chapter As flowering continues establishing itself, the nutrition program remains focused on supporting both the final stretch and the beginning of flower production. This week's feeding included: • Terra Bloom – 1.9 ml/L • Green Sensation – 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L • Power Buds – 1 ml/L • pH adjustments using Lemon Kick and pH Plus when required Everything continues to be delivered through the AutoPot system, allowing the AquaValve to provide nutrient solution only when the plant has actually consumed what was previously available. One of my favourite aspects of AutoPots is their simplicity. The plant decides when she drinks. I simply make sure the reservoir gives her everything she needs. 🌡️ Environmental Conditions Consistency continues to be one of the strongest foundations of this grow. This week's averages included: • Day temperature: 29°C • Night temperature: 25°C • Relative humidity: 60% • Nutrient solution: 22°C • Root zone: 21°C • CO₂ concentration: 639 ppm Humidity has now been reduced slightly compared to previous weeks as flowering becomes more established, helping prepare the environment for healthy flower development while maintaining vigorous growth during the final stretch. Healthy gardens aren't built through dramatic changes. They're built through hundreds of small, consistent decisions. 📸 This Week's Gallery This week's photographs tell the story perfectly. The close-up shots capture clusters of fresh white pistils appearing across the tops of nearly every branch. The side profile highlights her impressive vertical growth and elegant branch spacing. And perhaps my favourite photograph of the week... ...that enormous nine-fingered fan leaf. Sometimes one leaf says everything you need to know about a plant's health. It almost looks too perfect to be real. 🔮 Looking Ahead During the coming week I expect the vertical stretch to begin slowing as more energy shifts toward flower production. The small pistil clusters should begin merging into recognizable bud sites while resin production quietly prepares to make its first appearance. Training will remain minimal, allowing the plant's natural architecture to continue doing most of the work. Something tells me this lady is only just getting started. And if her early performance is any indication... She's planning to live up to her name. 💚 Thank You Thank you so much for following another chapter of this 8×8 Adventure. Every week these plants remind me that growing isn't about controlling nature. It's about creating the conditions that allow nature to express itself. Watching each phenotype reveal its own character has been one of the greatest joys of this entire project, and I'm incredibly grateful to everyone sharing the journey alongside me. A special thank you to: 💚 GrowDiaries for providing a platform where growers around the world can document their progress, learn from one another, and inspire the next generation of home growers. Zamnesia for the outstanding genetics making this phenotype hunt possible. 🌱 Plagron for supplying the nutrients supporting every stage of this grow. 💡 Future of Grow LED for delivering the light that powers every leaf, every branch, and every flower. 🌿 TrolMaster for helping maintain a stable environment twenty-four hours a day. And finally... Thank you to everyone who follows these diaries, leaves a comment, asks a question, shares advice, or simply stops by to see how the garden is evolving. Every update becomes a little more meaningful because it's shared with this amazing community. I'll see you all next week as Godfather OG Pheno A continues growing into the queen she's already beginning to look like. Until then... Growers Love and happy growing, everyone! 🌱👑💚
