Just transplanted to their final pots.
Some of the seedlings were getting quite leggy, so I planted them a little deeper during the transplant to keep them from getting too tall.
Nice symmetry on most of them, only 1 that looks a little questionable, with a twisted leaf
Gained a few new leafs
Started giving nutrients every other feed
I think I'll probably avoid any topping ect, and just let it grow more or less naturally
Had a nice growth spurt this week, more or less doubled I think. I'll do 1 or 2 weeks more veg and then flip
Bumping up the nutrients on the next feed. From 1ml/l to 4ml/l
I will be buying a VIPARSPECTRA XS1500 this week, with plans to buy another very soon.
Had to do some defoliation this week, as the fan leaves were blocking the light to the stems. But they bounced back very quickly. All the new growth perked up quickly.
I also bought 2x VIPARSPECTRA XS1500 which has made a noticeable difference from my old HPS bulb. Temps are so much easier to control now.
Will flip in a week, just letting them recover from the defoliation
Did some light LST, and a little more defoliation this week.
Looking great, but it is a challenge managing this many plants in a tight area. I wont do this many next time.
Switching to flower today 06/03
Left it alone since flipping. Nice amount of stretching. Almost covering the netting now.
Getting a little crowded, I should have done more defoliation
Getting to be a real jungle in there. I did some more defoliation to get better light penetration, but only on the fan leaves. They're growing so fast you'd think I hadn't defoliated atall within a couple of days.
Had some issues with extreme humidity, but I've managed to bring it all back down now with plenty of dehumidifiers lol. Was at 99% now I'm at around 60%.
I removed the netting as I had to take all the plants out the tent, as run off water was collecting at the bottom and contributing to the high humidity.
I haven't watered atall this week, as the high humidity has been keeping the soil moist on it own. Once it's dried out a little more I will water again.
The plants seem to be handling it fine, I think I caught it early enough.
Starting to see pistils forming now.
Finally able to water again this week. Got the humidity down to 55%. They responded very well to the feed, noticed a big change within 24hrs.
They're all looking very strong.
Did some defoliation again this week, probably do some more in a few days, trying not too do too much at once.
Noticed the odd amber pistil, definitely getting close now. Very excited to see the final product
Smell has really picked up this week.
I have began flushing, watered till there was a good amount of runoff, i will do the same again after a few days,
Started swelling alot, home strech now! I cant wait!
Trimmed off most of the fan leaves, and continued with flushing.
At around 60-70% cloudy trichomes at the moment, with the rest still being clear.
Probably chop them next week, but ill let the trichomes tell me when.
Started seeing the first amber trichomes on Thursday.
Given its last watering a couple of days ago, and has been flushed for the last 2 weeks.
Tomorrow i will turn the lights off and give it 48-72 hrs darkness before i chop them down.
Looking to chop them down on thursday 4/5/23. (60 days since flip)
I will leave the Sour Diesel for another couple of weeks, as thats a 10-11 week flower, rather than the Runtz' 8-9.
Harvested the Royal Runtz on 08/05. It's all drying now, I'll update the diary once it's finished.
Just finishing the Sour Diesel in a cupboard as the tent is being used for drying.
Getting some nice colours on the diesel, smells beautiful!
