Hello everyone,
Entering week 24, we are officially pushing forward with the MAC1 F1 hybrids. The big plant is now entering her ninth week of flowering, while her smaller sibling is heading into week 8.
Diet-wise, the heavy feeding days are definitely back on the menu. Both plants are no longer receiving any PK 13/14. Instead, I have switched entirely to reverse osmosis water, supplemented with some CalMag, and bumped up the Plagron Cocos A&B from 2.8 ml all the way to 3.5 ml per liter of water.
Looking at the calendar, I was originally planning to start flushing the big girl this week, but she is clearly not done yet. She definitely won't be ready by week 10, so I am now expecting her to push through to week 11 or maybe even week 12 of flowering. Because of that, I will keep pushing the nutrients and feeding her heavily for now.
As for the physical side of things, it is a complete circus in the tent right now. I added nine plant yoyos to support the branches, but it has turned into a chaotic game of botanical dominoes. Every single branch is falling over the next one, which then collapses onto another one—it is a never-ending cycle of leaning towers. If this tent gets any more crowded, I might need to start charging these branches rent for sleeping on each other!
On a much brighter note, I harvested the other Mac plant yesterday. Reflecting on this run, I can confidently say these F1 hybrids are an absolute keeper. The yield is much heavier than normal strains, and despite the current domino effect in the tent, the branches themselves are structurally much stronger overall.
This experience has completely sold me on them, and I will be focusing my efforts on growing more of these F1s in 2027.
Thank you for stopping by and have yourself a nice day.
