Hello. This is the end of week 5 and the beginning of week 6 of flowering. It's like walking into the mango store and smelling all the ripe mangos, Wonderful. Things are going good in here. I getting some lower yellowing leaves, now that the plants are putting everything into flowering. I'll mix in a bit more nitrogen in tomorrows changing of the nutrient solution to slow the yellowing down some. Each pot gets 2 gallons of rainwater when they are dry enough. One more strange thing happened this week, my unknown 40 year old daughter made contact with me last week. I guess she's had some awful relationships with men and doesn't like them. It came across. There's been stress here this week, but not with cannabis. 😒 I need the cannabis to de-stress. Wow. Never saw that coming. OK. Be great. Chuck.

Our number #17 grows really well, the leaves have only a few flaws and are tapered a little curled perhaps but I think that's the effect of the beginning, the stem is straight and does not bend and is very well proportioned. I am giving Plagron Pwer Roots rooting soon starting with Alga Grow. The plant grows well, the leaves are regular and very turned towards the light, it is very proportionate even I don't see stretching, bending and things that don't convince me. The girls have already been poured into 11 liter jars because the biodegradable jars have started to decompose prematurely, no problem let's go to the ground. May 24th : Went on a mini vacation and came back to my girls just growing strong!! wooo! can't wait to see these girls just explode as i'm flipping them to flower tonight! I'll be adjusting their nutrients soon and logging that as well! Tonight I just did a plain water / flush on the girls. Going to slowly lower the lights down to probably around 12 - 14 inches and try to keep it at around that height for the rest of the grow! It blows my mind how quickly these things have shot up.. Guess they don't call it weed for no reason!! P.S. The brackets i'm using to hold up my fans are actually an Ikea Wine bottle holder that my wife had, I cut it into three pieces cleaned it all up and zip tied it to the pole. Then hung the fans from the top of the tent with a quick adjust light rope. Now all I gotta do is push the fan up or down to where I want and tighten the light rope! works great!! May 25th : Got a new little Hanging bulb for in the tent that I can move around for pictures. I'm thinking i'm going to pick up another but it sure helped with the overexposed photo's! Can't believe how much they shot up over their first night at 12/12. This is going to be insane! May 26th : Opened the tent to pretty much all the girls praying! Sadly I must have miss watered the front right one. Oh well Soaked her good I'm sure she will be rocking again in no time.. Stretched them out a bit more after the photo's. I think maybe only a few more days of really finishing the LST with the scrogg net. May 27th : Welp even after lst and bending the hell out of these girls after last night's photo, they are showing no signs of slowing down! It's beautiful! Had to move my lights up about 5 inches as they shot up so close! May 28th : I am officially done with all lst and hst training and i'm gonna let them grow wild! Going to do another 1/3 str veg nute feeding tonight it will be their last veg feeding from this point on i'll be onto the flowering cycle of nutes. I plan on starting all Flower nutes at 1/2 strength and ramp up according to how the girls respond. Saw my first signs of Budding tonight Sorry for the overexposed pic on it but I realized it after the lights came on! I'll take more close ups tomorrow! (edit: changed my mind! decided to just go ahead and start all the flowering nutes also! will update log) May 29th : Not a whole lot to report, had to move my fans up as the girls were growing dangerously close. It's amazing to see this stretch, and to imagine it's hardly even started! May 30th : Opened my tent up to an explosion of growth. Humidity levels were way higher than what I wanted due to lack of air movement through and under the canopy. Decided it would be best to Get to the Lollipopping tonight. Put up some before and after pics of our crazy lollipopping adventure! Can't help but feel like I just mutilated the hell out of them.. Hope I didn't take to much!🙏 Guess we will find out! This is more of an equipment gathering project-first grow so I want to keep it simple and budget friendly, I ordered autos for my first grow but Oregon Elite Seeds sent a free gorilla Girl from Sweet Seeds. Super psyched for my first grow! Day1. Soaked seeds for 4 hours in bottled water, used paper towel method with 100% sprouts within 18 hours inside dark tent at 80 degrees (heater and air purifier) and 40% humidity. Hoping to plant directly into prepared soil (6.9 ph currently) in 24 hours. Day 2. Planted Critical OG Kush and Blackberry Autos 1/4 directly into 8 gallon cloth pots (these are the wrong pots-they are wax lined but the pandemic made getting the aeration pots unavailable-I may have to transfer later). Very lightly watered. i prepared my soil mix and had it acclamated to the grow room. I opened the air vents at each end of the grow room and set heat to 78, placed a bowl of water for humidity and started oscillating fan for airflow. Planted Gorilla Girl in a tupperware dish till i can get something more suitable. I really need another light but shipping just isn't working out. Day 4: 1 OG Critical was culled do to lack of progress. Gorilla Girl hs been repotted and looks fine. The Blackberry are much leggier than the others at this point. I'm watering just enough to get to the roots with bottled spring water. Day5 : the girls just woke up-posted pics. 1 light and 6 plants is not ideal. I'm not sure if I should put the strain that is naturally shorter under the light directly or focus on the tall ones getting enough light to not stretch. Comments appreciated. Day 6: Ligthts off after a 20 hour on cycle. I was concerned that my light insn't adequate spacially. I dropped it down to 15 inches above the seedling and got it tropical in the tent. I also used a 6500k 15 watt shop light for added light color and they enjoyed it, except for 1 had a bit of yellow. I will post photos when they wake up to see how they look after this light/heat/water boost for 20 hours. My Gorilla Girl is the only one that isn't above 2 inches. That one was planted deeper (1 inch instead of1/4th like the others. I did have some "seed helmets" so next time I will go a little over 1/4 inch deep. Qweeby's roots grew like a wad instead of down. I've had to readjust her placement twice because the roots act like they want to be on the surface. I'm excited to see them in 4 hours. I may cull one and start a different seed. The Blackberry Kush is stretchy which seems nice for a new grower like me. I am trying to limit the stretch so they match the Critical OG height but they are hearty toddlers. Day 7: Added a 3000w LED off ebay. I didn't account for the rise in heat but it only got up to 84. Raised it from 18" to 20" and got more air flowing through. One plant has a little yellowing from the inside of the main leaves (inside to out) but it's barely there so I'm going to check PH meter and easy watering since yesterday I did water more then I have thus far-so it could be a little root lock from too much water.

3/23: The pistils on all three of these plants suddenly withered, and upon inspection, I see that they're almost ripe.👍 I let them go totally dry this time and fed them with about 3/4 gallon each including terpinator, signal, sweet & sticky, cal-mag, armor si, cha ching, tiger bloom, big bloom, and humic acid. This was probably the last time they'll get any nutes, but I may water them once more with sweet & sticky and terpinator. 3/27: I mixed up water with sweeteners and terpene enhancers and cal-mag, then pulled everybody out of the closet...lo and behold, all 3 of these plants were ready to flush! I can't find my 20x macro lens for my phone, so I'm using my mini-microscope until I can get another mobile device lens kit from Amazon. All three had about 80% cloudy and 10% amber trichs. so I put about 12 gallons of filtered water with Sledgehammer through each one. Lovely buds, and many of them, but I sure hope they swell up some more!👈 3/29: I added a few more MicracleLED blue (450nm-470nm) bubs around the garden. topped raining for a day and my RH is back down to lower 40%'s. Shortie will go into a dark room tomorrow and her big sister will get fed.
