EM#1: I can hardly believe that she weighed less than WW#1..she towered over her and her buds were as big..just not as dense I guess. Her main cola was a little over a foot and weighed 110g wet. I guess she just had a higher leaf-to-calyx ratio and leaves weigh a lot less... She was a desirable EM pheno..dense, stocky, sturdy branches, very resinous...just a little too leafy. Her total dry weight was 77g. Update 9/2: 11 days of curing and it's starting to really wreak when I open the jar. Very pungent..hints of ammonia in the jar and has that sweet skunky smell when incinerated. I set fire to it today and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It's got that same earthy taste I remember from when it was first dry, but with "herbal" tones on the aftertaste. The buzz is a really intense head high for about 5 minutes, then levels out to a good body stone. I like it. A lot. EM#4: My tablet died and I was unable to get any photos of her being harvested. Her big bent main cola weighed 115g wet and was about a foot long if you straightened it out.. All the extra branching caused by the failed FIM and super-cropping really paid off. This plant smells AWESOME...very exotic/spicy. Smells great, tastes great, excellent buzz... she was just too tall and lanky and a pain to deal with.. Her total dry weight was 101g. Update: 8/28 - I'm determined not to smoke any more of her until next week and she's better cured....well...maybe just a little....no, not until next week...well, maybe tomorrow... Update 9/2: I smoked some more today and wasn't as thrilled with it as the first time..maybe because I had just smoked some EM#1 ;-) EM#2: She is dead and drying! Her main cola was a bit shorter than EM#1's, 11 inches, but was fatter and weighed 121g, wet. One of her other colas weighed 100g. She's very similar to EM#1 (kinda leafy), so I expect her to really lose a lot of water weight. I'm guessing she'll weigh around 85g dry...time will tell. Update 9/4: Total dry weight: 91g It's only been curing for 2 days, but had to sample it. Bam! This plant was my favorite tasting EM of the crop thus far. Same great taste as EM#4, but even more pungent. I smoked about 6 quick bong rips and got a nice uplifting head buzz for an hour that leveled off to a good mellow body buzz for another hour or so. EM#3: update 9/2: She might actually finish in about 10 days or so. Plenty of time to hit her again with cha ching, terpinator, and bud candy... update 9/10: HARVESTED! This plant took more than 4 man-hours to manicure and took three 18" drying baskets. So many buds. I will be amazed if she comes in any less than 150g of dried bud which would be amazing, but considering her space requirements and duration of bloom, probably not worth it...smell, taste, and effect could still sway my opinion.. update 9/14: Total dry weight: 224g!!! (Half-pounder!) 74g of that was lower-grade bud which I'll use to make confections and e-liquid. Took a couple bong rips..she got me stoned, but she needs to cure. Still a little green-tasting.

15.06.25. Day 46. Just a reminder that 2 seedlings died at start of grow. Big plant is drinking alot of water, I had to top up her reservoir with about 2 liters of water on 2 sperate occasions. High day time temperatures lately. Approximately 34°C. 16.06.25. Day 47 Changed out reservoir on small plant.

Hello everyone! At some point, a thought struck me: isn't the pot too small for my Dark Phoenix? She has grown to a size that I did not expect and did not plan). and I was tormented by the fact that it grows in a 25-liter pot just .. so I decided to take a chance and transplant it into a 35-liter pot. the transplant took place without problems and stress .. she did not even guess what had happened. The root system is curled perfectly. Bioenchaser does its job 100% well!

It’s day 36 and I’m so happy with them cuz I think they grow little slow but @ this time they grow nicely and healthier than earlier days. I’m gonna make next 2 more vege weeks and then let the girls to start flowering week

She's starting to get taller and growing each and every day! I'm currently struggling with maintaining humidity during the night, but she seems to be holding up pretty nicely. I'm waiting for her to hit 6 nodes so I can do my first topping (doing a total of 2 toppings for this grow as recommended by the breeder). I have added 3% of silica to every one of my waterings and I have noticed a much heartier and thicker stem as well as big, beautiful leaves. I'll keep y'all updated on the next post, growmies!

it was outdoor growing in soil. used flora trio, koolblum, rippen and floraKleen. I had to harvest 1 weeks early, but it was awesome tree :D I've got about 100g dry. about 300-320 wet.

The flush week! Seemed ok - def had nitrogen toxicity in one purple berry kush - maybe too much ripener before. But we’re here - will give them the 24 now and chop. We’re out of time on this run. 90^% of the crop are where I want them to be however I thought I would have more droopy leaves. Will do the harvests on Monday anyways. Have a great week. Week 8 started 5/22/2022 Ending week 7 strong. Last day was 5/21 -- I added some organic dry food *** from the local, PH'd water to 6.2 with some added Cal Mag Pro. Just going on instinct here, added some epsom salt on top and will water that in later. Water in the tray feeder thing (Auto Pot XL in manual mode) is 6.3 ish. Centered into the lights and measured with the LUX meter. As she starts vegging into the lights its gets stronger and stronger, from about 600 to about 1200+ (just a little less than full sun outside in my locale-- I measured). I am not sure exactly what this measurement means, I only use the sun as a reference. I have both lights on full blast. Still deciding if I can handle the heat of adding the 150W HPS, its HOT HOT HOT, but it makes the flowers huge. I am stopping the LST into week 8, nothing but clean water for a while into the veg, don't want to over feed. I am just doing regular maintenance, watching the grow, and I keep using Crop Control as a preventative measure, I don't care if I am wasting it-- not to be weird but it just smells like it will work LOL. Still tweaking air flow. Height at 9" is the table, there are some tips that are at 12".(I re-measured and changed this to more accurate #s) She has to grow to at least two feet up. I need to measure everything and may have to reposition my filter to accommodate the height. We'll see. I am cleaning up the grow area now, nothing left to do except clean and water. Auto Pot guys said my stuff is missing little rubber grommets from the factory, maybe I can fix the damn things and they will have auto water and we will see if that affects grow speed into flower. I am scared I am going to outgrow my tent this time. I wish I had an A/C Infinity 4x4, those look sick. Next day follow up: Measured: I have just enough room to pull this off. I will re-position filters and lights before switch to flower. I will have two charcoal filters and one A/C Infinity fan, with just the single Auto Pot XL, and it will be functioning since I found the parts to fix. I may get some custom aqua-ponics - bubble-ponics thing going in the tray I placed it in, I think with more oxygenated water and a higher level, more cooling and I may actually get more growth/flower -- we'll see, I am always scheming and I have parts! Still thinking it through as pre-flower time approaches soon. week 8 day 3 - minor surgery, f'd up a cola branch by super-cropping the shit out of it. Fixed, but lost time on that cola, added side light on that side to help fill in, just when I should be getting ready for pre-flower! oh well, that is part of the mainline manifold game. Gotta have grafting tape on hand and assess before it gets to be an unsolvable issue. check your plants and pay attention to what they say to you. ***Dry fert. stats: EB Stone vegetable fertilizer blended with humic acid and beneficial soil microbes including mycorrhizae. NPK: 4-5-3 Derived from: Blood Meal, Feather Meal, Bone Meal, Dried Chicken Manure, Bat Guano, Alfalfa Meal, Kelp Meal, and Potassium Sulfate.

All 6 chopped after 48 hours dark. The old rainwater brought some wicked Col ours out and there’s plenty of buds bleeding purple. Loved these and they’ve been nice and straightforward. I did give them a bit of a hard time with under and over feeding but there still looks a decent amount of really dense bud there. Will add some better pics and weights when it’s ready. Now hanging at 55F and 65RH not the temps and humidity in the video 😂. Happy New Year 💚

Background Fingers crossed that these Spicy Bitch regs provide at least one male so that we can back build some stock of it. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Feb 14, 2018: Seems my fears were unfounded, I'm not seeing any spots of mildew and I think in 4 days I would see something if it was there. Water with plain water, just ph'd nothing else added. staked up a couple of the buds, all the other palnts are managing to hold each other up, the fan leaves seem to grow into each other so the canopy is a solid moving mass. When the oscillating fan hits the colas the whole canopy sways slightly. For future grow I plan to have more space between plants, and will need a screen/net to hold everything up. Feb 12,13 2018: Watered with 10ml/Gal Tiger Bloom, 10ml/Gal Big Bloom, 2tsp blackstrap molasses, 1ml Cal-Mag per gallon. Ph'd to 6.5 ish. Lost my SD card so didn't get any photos 2/12, but took some with my phone on day 73, and then found my SD card. High quality photos are back tomorrow mourning. Feb 11, 2018: Had a bit of a freak out, thought i had spotted a couple PM spots forming, think it was just the leaves resinous sticky. After the scare decided to do some major cleanup of old leaves and ALL dead leaves, i know it wont help fight PM, but added a small 6" fan circulating air below canopy. Humidity has been constant due to running a dehumidifier so it stays between 45-50 lights on and off.

Week 9 of flowering, Day 92 = the smell is incredible a. the buds are smelling very sweet, and still growing very large b. we are in the home stretch c. the trichomes are very milky d. the DWC is half full of 1620ppm nutrients at 6.5PH, I am cutting it in half with Mineral Water to finish the maturing process e. stigmas are changing color very rapidly, and the smell is incredibly strong Day 93 - WOW! The smell is becoming very intense a. we do not have a carbon filter on this box as it is out in our barn, but holy cow when we walk about 5 meters from the barn we can smell it strong b. added 4L of mineral water to the DWC to cut the Ripen down c. the buds are maturing fast! this will be harvested around day 100/101/102 d. for this week we are moving light to 11/13 Day 94 - resin explosions everywhere a. the light switch always makes more resin appear, and causes white stigmas to turn pink/orange b. she has slowed down her drinking a bit c. tomorrow the DWC will be pumped out, and 10L of water with FloraKleen will be added for 2 days Day 95 - trichomes look wonderful! a. 100x microscope shows really nice trichome development, majority milky white, with some amber, a few clear which should go white/amber in the next few days, and while drying. b. installed FloraKleen at 3ml/L with 10L of mineral water, will keep FloraKleen in for 2 days, then remove c. the pistils are all turning red/orange and brown Day 96 - growing well a. the buds continue to fully mature, the pistils are changing rapidly, and there are very few clear trichomes anywhere I look b. she is drinking less and less, her life is coming to an end I see, i constantly remove dead curled up leaves from her Day 97 - maturing, and smelling awesome a. i uploaded a video of the buds b. the trichomes are all milky white, and a probably 5-10% amber, they are SO greasy! Just like Girl Scout Cookies! c. installed a dehumidifier into the tent, it works well Day 98 - she is in the harvest window a. what a great plant to grow, 95% pistils are orange/red/brown and trichomes are 90% milky, 5% amber and a few clears here and there b. I am removing some leaves today to open her up a bit c. I think we will go another week, I will be in Geneva, so hopefully she will eat her leaves!

Honestly an amazing week! They’re stretching and producing so many bud sites widening their structure with some well let’s call it mid stress training lol i may if had a problem though I’ll see 😞 as my lights didn’t turn off until an hour and 15mins after their normal time due to a malfunction… sooooo hoping no problems ffs but will be switching that to a manual one tomorrow when lights are on! 🤞🏽 I hope because up til now it’s perfect no complaints!

Weather here is still fantastic, hot days, partially cloudy, cooler nights. Long term forecast are excellent till the end of September, probably till mid October. No news to report, I'm just waiting for buds swelling, these are the slowest days of my life. I've got pheno #1, tall plant with short and dense buds, fast blossoming, good leaf/buds ratio, great resin production. The plant is gorgeous, all concentrated on the top, big, rough and fat buds. It is evident from the physiognomy typically indica that she is a rustic, wild plant and not an indoor doll. Flushing started, last feed Thursday 17th. Very strangely rust fungus infection has attacked only to fan leaves and hasn't hurt flowering, till now. She will be a generous yelder... and maybe she will cropped together with her sister Royal Gorilla in 7/10 days. Stay safe Bros
