Chopped her down right after these photos. Had one little area with bud rot! The humidity has been crazy high and she was almost perfectly ready, but needed one more week. Chopping down to avoid any more! She smells like pine gas! Foxtails are from the temps swings. Happy with the turn out because Mother Nature was not kind to this lady! ✌️💚🌿💨. Results after dry!

Giorno 42 Avendo avuto problemi alla penna ph e relativi segni sulle foglie ho deciso di effettuare un flush e di passare ad Advanced Nutrient. Dopo 6 giorni circa la terra si è asciugata e ho ricominciato la fertilizzazione. Le piante sono un po' pallide ma sicuramente in questi giorni prima della fioritura si riprenderanno. A settimana prossima 🖐️ ❤️

I added another 4 tablespoons of pridelands bloom top dressed after defol. Still watering in brix, green aminos, armor si, calmag and great white everyday till max saturation

Overall this grow was smooth and didn’t notice any major issues, other than a calcium deficiency early on in flowering. She was a beast of a plant just didn’t get really compact buds with her and she’s definitely got a lot of airy buds throughout. I’m still pleased overall with the grow and want to do another one here soon.

Clones are nice and rooted threw off some new growth. So its time to rock and roll into flower. Get this breeding underway. Been on 12/12 for couple days now and the male has soared. Definitely gunna be more than adequate height to dump pollen down on my ladies. I treated with Dr zhymes as s preventative. I also got them on a balanced feed. Good stretch this week, I haven’t lollipopped at all, not even in veg. It’s fairly leafy everywhere and I want to get in there and defoliate bottom 1/3 soon. A lot of dead leaves I imagine, just been so busy and been neglecting the grow. Funny, how when you first start out and you’re overly micro-managing and then as the months go by, it starts to become a chore. I ordered a light from China, a Meijiu (HLG)550 V3. HLG Canada didn’t want to give me a decent discount so, unfortunately had to ship my money outside the country. Saved 50% for a quality light though. Might take a bit to get here, been processing in Hong Kong for 4 days. So far the leaves are healthy but last run they started to turn deficient after the stretch. In my defence, with the last grow, I was just starting on the dry nutrient regimen and made mistakes. Hopefully it stays healthy throughout bloom cycle with new changes and knowledge. New reservoir this week as follows: Partial drain, most of it gone, but 100mL RO added and; 40 gram cal nit 30 jacks 30 mag sulph. 100mL mighty bloom enhancer 100mL head masta 300 mL h2o2 25 mL Fulvic 40mL Humic pH ended up high with addition of bloom enhancer, added pH down to 5.8. PPM 1360. Wednesday-Day 10 Added water and some nutes. PPM 1200 pH 6.0 Started a small section of lower 1/3 defoliation Day 11 Did some more defoliation, added a video to show progress. Day 12 Finished lollipop on right plant. Moved some branches around. Added 20 liters and 20g cal nit, 10g of both jacks and magnesium sulphate.

Growing this strain was quite cool. A nice small grow or macro grow I should say. The plant seemed quite resilient which is always a good thing. I wish I could have waited another week before harvest but was getting complaints about the smell. Most of all I have to say I am rather impressed with my yield, I thought I would get 10 grams in a 4ltr pot maybe 14 at the most but ended up with 21 grams/ 3 quarters of an ounce, so next grow I'm hoping for an oz!

Nun, in der letzten Woche ist Einiges passiert: Beide Pflanzen wurden in ihre 11 l. Stofftöpfe umgepflanzt und in der Mitte der Woche getoppt. Sie haben es sehr gut vertragen und erfreuen mich mit ihrem Wachstum. Überhaupt sind es sehr schöne Pflanzen mit ihren violetten Blattstielen und den hellgrün- und dunkelgrünen Blättern. Gedüngt wurde nicht, da die neue Pflanzenerde erst einmal genügend Dünger bereit hält. Aber dann habe ich die Blumat Tropfer für die automatische Bewässerung in Betrieb genommen und nun sammelt sich überschüssiges Wasser in der Bodenwanne, was den anderen Stecklingen sehr zugute kommt. So war es aber nicht gedacht. Die genaue Einstellung der automatischen Blumat-Bewässerung ist etwas, dass ich zum ersten Male durchführe, habe also noch keinerlei Erfahrung darin und das Ergebnis sehe ich nun. Immerhin habe ich in den Stofftöpfen eine Drainage eingebaut, sodass die Wurzeln nicht geschädigt werden. Die Stecklinge scheinen das überschüssige Wasser zu lieben. die beiden großen hinteren Pflanzen, sind Mutterpflanzen, die ich seit August am Leben gehalten habe, darunter eine Divine-Seeds Fractal-Mutter, für die immer noch kein Ergebnis im Wettbewerb zur Verfügung steht 😒. Meine automatische Steuerung sieht etwas chaotisch aus, ich hoffe das noch in den Griff zu bekommen.😜 Leider kann ich keinen genauen Wasserverbrauch angeben, da das Wasser direkt aus der Wasserleitung kommt und nicht aus einem höhergestellten Behälter, ich vermute der Wasserverbrauch liegt z.Zt. bei 50-100 ml, ist aber nur eine Schätzung. Ich wünsche euch eine weitere erfolgreiche Grow-Woche und bedanke mich dafür, dass ihr meinen Report besucht habt. Ich nehme sehr gerne Tips zur Blumat Steuerung entgegen....

Veg17, riego 1.3 EC y pH 6.1. Se hizo una muy pequeña defoliación y corte de algunos nodos para empezar a moldear la estructura. Veg18, un par de horas después del LST ya están mostrando la estructura deseada. Veg21, ajuste de LST. Veg22, riego 6.1 pH y EC 1.5.

Borked the time tracking on the previous diary weeks, both are still going strong. Grapefruit is developing a lot of new internode fan leaves, but she's too late into bloom now to defoliate etc. and don't want to stress the GG XL either. Latest GG XL photos are in Week 5. Microgreens are also coming up fast. 17/07: Forgot to take Day 42 photos for both girls, my apologies as my wrists have been giving me hell but will get some more up soon. I've been keeping with the same watering schedule, some bud sites are being shaded by fan leaves so I'm trying to VERY carefully bend them down to prop up the little bud sites better. I've rubbed my fingers on some of the fan leaves to get rid of whatever weird white dust is ending up on my leaves, probably just debris from the air and the fan might need a cleaning soon but holy shit my fingers smell strong like Pomegranate and fruits. It's getting quite addictive to smell the bud sites and rub that resin of her fan leaves, I wish I could describe it better but damn it smells good. If the resin is any indication of the final smoke I know that the Grapefruit is gonna be dank. Can't wait till drying + harvest time :)) 18/07: Plucked off some lower burnt leaves that were really old, snipped off two more big fan leaves shading new bud sites and removed the stumps from old leaves rather making those closely cut down stubs instead so no bug invaders can get a free home. :P Humidity has been ridiculously high today >~65% and dropping now in the evening after the rain has stopped to <~60%, I added some Sodium Bicarbonate in plastic jars around the tent to help pull out water from the air. (18/07: Seems to be helping, I'm seeing about a ~2-5% drop overnight and this morning, usually the humidity in the morning before+after rain is ~60-65%) 20/07: The paper ref regarding RH and Bicarb. of Soda: W.-Y. Kuu et al. / International Journal of Pharmaceutics 166 (1998) 167–175 / PII: S0378-5173(98)00049-0 - I don't know how or why but keeping temps at ~21-23C drops the RH down to a stable mid-low 50's range. Thank fuck now I don't have to drop tonnes of money on a huge dehumidifier... Occam's razor baby :) 21/07: Had to move the light, fan, carbon filter and literally everything. Some minor shit for the cover broke on top of the CaCl -RH% and the bicarb got knocked over. Wiped, sprayed down and cleaned out the fan filter as well. What a fucking start to the day... 31/07: GG XL is in Week 7 now, so getting well into flower, growing at an exponential rate and starting to give off a very subtle smell, Grapefruit smells quite noticeable now too. 03/08: GG XL ending week 7, getting massive. ~77-78CM now. Had to defoliate the Grapefruit since leaf miners were still assaulting her, hopefully this helps get more light and airflow into the bud sites, been having humidity issues but can't do much.
