Sad Slimer

Grow_for_Happiness End of the first week and things seem to be right on track. Plant is looking nice and healthy and is standing on its own with no support. Started the week at 300 umol/s and ended at 400 umol/s.

Grow_for_Happiness Wow here we are already at the end of week two of veg! This little lady is growing up quick, and has been thirsty. By the end of the week she's drank through what remained in the pot, so today I bottom fed 1.2 liters. Only a matter of days until she's into the bigger tent, just have to finish sterilizing it and reset the lights. Healthy, happy and growing up quick, can't wait to see what next week brings!

Grow_for_Happiness The week has come to a close and this girl has exploded in growth! Doubled in size from last week and looking quite healthy. Was moved to the 4x8 and turned on the autopot and airdome at beginning of week and she hasn't looked back since. Lots of air circulation and a new T5 humidifier keeping the environment nicely in check. Also had to upgrade my controller to an 8 port to help handle the extra devices and have everything under one system rather than three separate controls. Always nice to make life easier. Getting 550-575 umol/s with he light 30" @ 90%. Hanging higher than I need to just to help with spread and keeping the heat up.

Grow_for_Happiness Exciting week, this girl has gone into flower! Was seeing the start of some pistils at beginning of week and by end of week they are fully into flower. Just over an inch of growth a day, and were just hitting stretch. Nice busy even plant, with zero training or defoliation to date. Love how blueberry crosses are almost always naturally bushy plants. Trying out Plagrons Power Buds, claims more bud sites, see how she. Goes! Plants seem happy with the mix so far, so good! Lights at 30" hitting 580-600 umol/s

Grow_for_Happiness Two weeks I to flower and this girl is looking great if I do say so myself! Not a lot of vertical growth this week but the bud sites sure did pop out everywhere giving the plant a much fuller look. Day 49 from seed and with the slow in growth it's time to give this lady a haircut this upcoming week. Will be her first defoliation. Not much to say otherwise, just filling the reservoir daily to keep up with her drinking habits and being as hands off as possible to see what she will do. Lights 610 umol/s

Grow_for_Happiness Another week has come to an end and so has the stretch phase. No vertical growth this week, canopy wodened slightly but mostly just been watching the bus sites develop and start to pack on weight. This girl has traditional blueberry strain shape, short, wide, and a nice even canopy with ZERO training required. She's 30" tall and wide! Did give her a good defoliation mid week, removing underdeveloped inner branches as well as lower third of material and a large amount of inner fan leaves. Now lots of airflow and light penetration, time to sit back and watch the magic happen. Lights 28" @ 90% 600 umol/s

Grow_for_Happiness Took her out of the tent for pictures this week because it's getting hard to see the ones in the back lol. She's just cruising along, doing her thing packing on bud weight. Started the green sensation half way through last week, can see a slight tip burn but only running 1ml/L so should be fine. Also by taking her out of the tent I noticed she is really starting to put off a smell. Nice fruity/earthy mix that right away makes me think of the cured slimer buds from last grow that I'm enjoying as I wrote this diary, but with undertones of blueberry. Very happy with how everything going so far, just have to keep the environment locked in and keep her cruising along. Speaking of environment, now that we're getting warmer outside and heat is running less had to hook the dehumidifier back up. Was noticing fans struggling to keep humidity under 60%, but once I got it running and pointed the dry air exhaust at the tent intake could see numbers drop right away. Now easily holding at 58%RH with fans running at 50-60% power. Lights still hitting a solid 600 umol/s average across the canopy

Grow_for_Happiness This Blueberry Slime may be the best looking plant in the tent. Nice naturally flat canopy with buds sprouting everywhere. Thick strong branches to hold the impending bud load. Already starting to frost and the smell is just too good, fruity and stanky. Barely any tip burn with the regular nutrient feed levels. Hearty AF. My top 3 favorite strain to grow and smoke. I ncreased lights to 100% (+10%) to help bring the edges up to 550 umol/s with canopy average being 625 umol/s.

Grow_for_Happiness Here we are end of week 9 and this girl is coming right along. Buds have swelled up and are showing some nice colours. Buds got big enough that one of the lower branches broke right at the stalk. No big deal, happens sometimes with no support. A quick garden tie and she's all fixed. Guess no more moving this one around until harvest if I can help it. Speaking of harvest, I would say two weeks at the most, probably closer to 10 days. Trichomes are 70/30 cloudy/clear, with no visible deterioration and no reds. Nice and sticky buds with a stanky fruity smell. Did give her a small defoliation mid week, just removing and dried/crispy but nothing major. Just removing stuff not producing energy while trying to minimize any shock so she can finish smoothly.

Grow_for_Happiness Well here we are, the end of another easy going week watching the buds finish and filling the reservoir. Speaking of which, the buds are looking absolutely delicious. They've turned a beautiful mix of purples, blues, and greens and are so trichome packed they almost shine when you look at them up close. Also they've gotten very dense with no compaction when squeezed. Trichomes are 95% cloudy and starting to see the odd red here and there so will be harvesting her this afternoon. Only thing I had to do this week was tie up another branch to the main stalk. Buds got so heavy she bent over to the floor, but no break so that's a plus.

Grow_for_Happiness Nice easy harvest, took maybe 20 minutes to break down the branches and remove fan leaves for the dry tent. Beautiful solid purple/black buds that just scream "smoke me"! Probably hang for 7-10 days, then final trim and into the cure bags. Will update with final weight and smoke review in a few weeks
