Beginning of flowering phase and they already stretched 7 cm in 3 days only. The topped one reached 38 cm and the LST only is 42 cm . The smell is strating to come out , smell quite nice. Not intense yet. Fertilizers Top Vulcan 1 table spoon each. No more repetition Plagron alga bloom 4 ml & power bud 1 ml power roots 1 ml , alga grow 4 ml and vita race 4 ml. I Will repeat the same every 4 days for the for 1st two weeks of flowering . As you can see I am growing other strains but the lemon orange stand out for now. They are larger, busher and smell amazing 😍

So they’re still stretching, I thought they were slowing down a couple days ago, but then I walked in today and realised shit, they’re still going, must have grown another 3 inches since yesterday. They have almost filled out the whole 6x4ft space, a little space by the door and in the corners, the floor is looking well shaded which I am happy about, as that means I am not wasting too many photons. I have an maybe another 10/15cm of spare vertical capacity before I’m going to have to start some emergency super-cropping. Starting to get a little anxious I still haven’t changed out the reservoir from 16 days ago, although my top ups have been the same composition as noted above. I think I will drain her out tomorrow which has a drastically lower ratio of nitrogen. I have to say, this Botanicare range is incredibly stable and forgiving once you get past mid veg. As for the genetics, she knows how to grow without little fuss. Maybe I have been very lucky, time will tell once I finish my next grow with a different strain. The plant at the back of the room is a little squat compared to the other two but maybe she will catch up. Waffled on a bit here, thanks for stopping by, have fun all!

The girls have basically exploded this week! They were drinking a ton and have responded really well to the steady increase in nutrients. With the room being basically self sustaining, it’s been a lot less work. Yesterday was the second round of defoliation and because this is my first time getting this far, I decided to be pretty moderate. There’s a few plants I took quite a bit off as an experiment and they seem to be doing great! The guy at my local hyrdo store recommended GH Floralicious Plus for flavor and smell, so I decided to try it out and this is some pretty potent stuff. After their first feeding of the Floralicious they are smelling delicious! The one plant furthest into flower is starting to show some fade in the lower leaves, she will certainly be done before the rest. She has a very sweet and sour aroma, especially if she gets rustled around a little bit. I’m stoked for the rest of flower and seeing their progress. Also I haven’t seen a fungus gnat in weeks so those yellow sticky traps are a must.

Our Gush Mintz have undergone a small revolution and are still super beautiful, even more than before. One of the plants was damaged during the main lining I broke a brunch and it was transformed into a LST plant, the other one that was proceeding straight without techine was worked with topping at the 5th internode and LST on the other branches left below. Comparison is the salt of experience so the plant in the other diary will be worked very differently. Final weeks, i think 2 more So next week (in 4 days after this update) i will flush her again and start ripen feed I flushed her yesterday and fed her again with a lower dose of the same nutes as i was starting to get calcium lockout due to the medium being too accidic

This lady has been receiving nutes unlike my other ladies. Did some minor defoliation and normal feeding schedule lessons learned on this one are to top off my autos well at least this genetics and to start these ladies with nutes to maximize growth. I do see pistols starting to sprout but no frosty leaves yet.

Flower development definitely set back right from the beginning with extreme light intensity reaching 1650 ppfd before corrected. Never fully took off I don’t think. Midway through week 7 started to slowly dial back the intensity from 900 at tops to 650 ppfd. This is a 9.5-10 week strain. Using fish shit to keep things ramped up, also Bokashi Bran and worm casting. Also mixing in Gaia seaweed extract 0-0-17 with the fish shit. Not a whole lot more needed that the soil and top dressings doesn’t already have, if anything at all. I just like to give it that extra kick. I had completely wiped out those pesky fungus gnats and future offspring before flower, but they came back after top dressing and adding more soil. They come in the bag soil, and while I was on holidays for 10 days they came back and I wasn’t on top of the new wave of those dirty bastards. Just about got them cleared out again with the use of nematodes and sticky traps.

Day 15. Girls are flying !!! Think on day 18 i will do heavy defoliation, maybe Middle girl will have to be treated differently, she is a bit behind by flower development. Still see one or two bugs, but today i should get ladybugs from friends shed, they always nest there, but you never know .... Worst case - this wednesday i will get 200 LadyBug larvas, they should do a deal !!! Plus, new adventure on horizon .... FastBuds send me theirs surprise package !!! As you see, my anti-fim'ing worked well on Tallest Kush, other girls managed to save main cola as main, Tallest have it as well, but it shrinked to smallest size and stayed lower than main canopy. Main stretch is going to the end and after training i will lift Smallest Kush to Middle's level. Day 15. Update, got like 50 ladybugs. 10 went to this tent, others will go to big one. Still waiting for larvae postage. Day 16. Heavy training done now : defoliation, lolitoping, watering straight after.... Tallest Kush - 14 tops, amazing, cleared her really high, but it will be 3-4 ounces plant easy, i see structure already, after my version of fim'ing she made 3 tops, where center one shrink to side branch size. Very good structure - thats my target for future grows. Middle Kush - a bit delayed in flower, but very bushy. After failed attempt of anti-fim'ing all side branches had triple shoots, needed to repeat action most probably ... Anyway - she will be dofoliated in 4-5 days i think. Smallest Kush - Midget warrior ;))) She will have hardest nugs from all 3, let's see what size colas she will make, branches shortest, but fatest of all 3. Day 17. Girls are on absolute max power, looks happy as f@ck and that makes my heart sing !!! ;))) Day 20. Gave Silica acid with watering. Looks like this tent is free from thrips, girls always prays and drink quick, so its all good in the neighbourhood ;))) Happy Growing !!!

Day 27 of 12/12 Day 16 Flower Ppfd 950-1050. S44-Ionboard Ppfd 650. S11-Ionboard lightbars EC 2.0 PH 6.0 I finally caught this diary up to the current date. I apologize for my previous entries that were all done last night and kind of vague and all over the place. Today I'm doing a mild defoliation to open up the canopy and get some life pumped into these lower bud sites. She's still stretching some which I'm all for at this point although I have a few colas reaching for the sky that need dialed back a little. I'll most likely just LST them to the net if I can find spots to pull from. Defoliation is a nightmare currently. I need some kind of mission impossible harness to hang above the canopy and save my lower back lol. I ordered and installed the s11 Ionbeam led bars from AC Infinity. I currently have them in my lower canopy just below my scrog net to help her along a bit. The first night I installed them they didn't sync up with my controller 69 and she had a night light for 12 hours. Pisses me off because I should have peeked in to make sure it shut off with the main board. So later on today I'll play around with the setting between the 2 controllers and get this UIS set right. This is a prime example of jumping the gun and letting the excitement of new gear get me doing shit hastily. These bars are weak and have to be placed within inches of the canopy and then will only cover a small area efficiently. I will most likely remove em from the lower canopy and suspend them over the colas on the edges. Not sure what I was expecting from 11" light bars. Maybe I'll add them to my seedling/clone racks.

Day 57 : 600W LED, 18 hours on 6 hours off light schedule, the same with ventilation. Water intake 200 ml per day per plant, fertilization remains the same on Monday, Wednesday and Friday Biobizz Family and on Tuesday Thursday Saturday bat guano and Epsom salt. Humidity approx 50%. Day 58: I removed all the LST stuff so no more elastic bands and hooks. Day 62: Plants are fine Critical Orange Punch and Sour Stomper will be the quickest in this group. Hello. Sweet Seeds sent a privet message a few months ago and said if you want seeds to email and they sent seeds😃. The strains I got were Gorilla Girl 19 to 25% THC - Black Jack 16 to 21% THC and a Cup Winner and Sweet Zenzation. They sent 4 seeds of each. I think that's because we can legally grow 4 plants pre household in Canada. Sweet Zenzation Grape Ape x Zkittlez Indica Dom Height- Med Yield- High 9-10 Weeks THC - 16 to 23% CBD - .2 Effect - Narcotic, relaxing, Stimulating, Talkative Flavor - Candy, Fruity, Sweet It's both relaxing and stress reliving. Yet it also stimulates the imagination and conversation The flowers have a high terpene content. Exquisite aroma and sweet taste. April 26, 2024 Day 71 It's a new week and the start of late flower. It was also cleaning day. Both reservoirs have been cleaned out and are freshly loaded with new water. This week we are focusing on watering and nutrients. I may start to drop the dose until flush, over this week and the next. The light power will also be gradually dropped down over the next 2 weeks. Not much this week, I think I'll drop the DLI down to 43 mol/m²/d in the middle of the week. Next week I'll drop it down to 38 mol/m²/d. It all depends on what the plants look like. The plants are getting ready to hunker down and finish up. Both have decent sized buds and just need to finish swelling. I'd say another 2 weeks maybe? Flushing will start at some point over the next 2 weeks as well. Flushing won't be much of a big deal as it's just cleaning the reservoirs and running a week of Flawless Finish. The environment is changing a bit as well. I dropped the day temp down to 75° and the night temps to 65° or lower. Not cold enough to cause stress, but enough to get some purple I hope. The humidity is sitting at 47% and I'll be leaving it there unless somehow I can get it to go lower. For now it's pretty solid at 47% and everything looks great, so no need to worry. I'll be taking trichome pics every few days. One pic for each plant. No point in loading up the whole photo gallery with even more daily pics. Plus, the progression of trichomes isn't fast enough to really notice daily. So every 3 days should be fine. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 47.7% VPD: 1.49 kPa April 27, 2024 Nothing happening today. Both ladies were inspected with no issues. I snipped a single leaf off of Banana Purple Punch B. Just one. Blocking bud sites. Banana Purple Punch A has some massive buds. About the size of golf balls. Maybe a bit smaller. They are still swelling and have a good 2 weeks left. Pistils are still mostly white, so that's a good sign for larger buds and more trichomes. Banana Purple Punch B is looking wonderful as ever. She doesn't seem to be suffering any issues with nutrient burn unlike her sister plant. She's perfectly healthy and has very nice bud production. The buds aren't quite as big as Banana Purple Punch A, but still nice and sizeable. The nutrient burn seems to have stopped for Banana Purple Punch A. So that's good. It should be perfectly fine now. Lighting is staying the same for the next couple of days. Although, I may keep it the same for the rest of the week. The environment is excellent now. It's raining today and the humidity is still at 47%. I did get it down to 44% for most of the afternoon yesterday, so I may be able to keep it down after the rain stops. Or just wait for the afternoon and see what happens. Either way, the humidity is now at 47% and the temp is at 76.8°. The VPD is at 1.57 kPa. A tiny bit high, but still well within range. Last night's temp was a little high at 69°. I'll have to drop the temp lower again to get that 65° sweet spot. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.4° RH: 45.7% VPD: 1.55 kPa April 28, 2024 Not much to do today. I mixed a new batch of nutrients for both plants. The only difference is that I cut the Overdrive in half down to 2 ml/gal. Neither plant needs it, but now it's mixed and ready to go. I may end up filling the reservoirs tonight as it stands. Or later this afternoon. I don't think they will last til tomorrow morning. Both plants are putting off a wonderful aroma. I honestly can't describe it. Like sweet and kind of a hint of banana and a bit heady. Trichome production is picking up quickly. The pistils are starting to turn orange as well. They are definitely in the late flowering stage. I think I'll start dropping the nutrients for the next watering. And I'll drop the DLI down to 40 mol/m²/d tomorrow I think. Not much else to say about nutrients or lighting, so moving on to the environment. It's a warm humid day out and raining off and on. My whole environment is wonky, with humidity being at 57% and the temp at 77°. I turned the AC on about an hour ago and the temp went down to 75°, and humidity up to 60%. I think I'll crank the AC all the way down. And hopefully get rid of the humidity with the temp being a bit lower than perfect. Update: I ended up adding about a half gallon of plain water to both reservoirs. Just Incase I have nutrient lockout or something. They should go through that by tomorrow afternoon. Maybe late evening. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.6° RH: 52.8% VPD: 1.39 kPa April 29, 2024 No watering today. I'm still waiting for the plain water work it's way through. However, I did drop the light power. Both ladies look great. Big buds, great scent and nice color. I'm not seeing any fade yet, but the nutrient burn is still there. I hope it will fix itself with the plain water. And then maybe fading will start. These two need a good 2 weeks or so before harvest. The lighting, as I said, was changed today. I dropped the power down to 70% to get as close as possible to 40 mol/m²/d. I may have to drop it another 10%. I'm not too sure. I'll check the DLI again when I'm more awake. (I'm finally on my second cup of coffee. Lol) Looks good though. Just around where I want it to be. But there are a lot of spots where the DLI is a bit high at 43 mol/m²/d. The tallest tops are also kind of high at 45 mol/m²/d. Again, I'll double check on a couple hours, but it should be fine. The environment is wonky again today. The temp is fine, but the humidity is still high at 60% and I don't see a way to drop it again. Not with the current weather. Hopefully I can get it down with some heat. The AC method did not work. Well, it maybe will work tonight. I'll be dropping that bad boy down to 59° tonight and hopefully it will do what I need it to. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 59.8% VPD: 1.15 kPa April 30, 2024 Watering day. The reservoirs were both nearly empty and there was just enough space for a full gallon in each one. It's the normal nutrient dose with Overdrive being at 2 ml/gal. These two plants are looking mighty fine. Excellent bud swelling and trichome production. I'm definitely going to be wet trimming them instead of my normal dry trim. I may leave the bods on the branches and do a partial wet trim, or I guess mostly wet trim. They smell great! Very strong aroma now. I swear they smell like artificial grape. I can't describe it any other way. Grape and pungent. Awesome. So far the light seems to be fine. No reaching or showing any signs of lack of lighting. They look pretty happy. Although, Banana Purple Punch A is a bit sad from nutrient burn. Banana Purple Punch B however didn't seem to have much of a problem with the burn. The environment is still pretty wonky. High humidity again. I can control the temp pretty easily, but the humidity is another issue. It's currently sitting at 56% and I'm holding the temp at 76°. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.5° RH: 57.0% VPD: 1.26 kPa May 1, 2024 Not a whole lot going on today. No water needed, no light changes. I rotated both ladies 180° so now they are getting light on other sides. I'll leave them like this for the rest of the grow I think. Banana Purple Punch A actually fits better in the new position. Less wall touching and about the same neighboring plant touching. I also removed 3 leaves. Ones that were misshapen from being crushed against the tent walls. Banana Purple Punch B seems to fit a little better in the new position, mostly because of her sister plant. More room on the outside and a little less room inside. No leaves were removed today. I'll reserve that for the last 2 days of the grow cycle. Then I'll do a massive defoliation and then a wet trim. It's humid here right now and I need the space. Otherwise I'd stick with dry trimming. But I can't hold up the tent for 3 more weeks. I have other plants getting ready to be planted in their final containers. Like a week for that, I might be able to squeeze a week and a half, but that's it. They will have a space, but the main tent is where they will need to be. Not a 2x2 dry tent. I'll work it how I need to I guess. Anyway, both ladies look great! Trichome production is coming along nicely as well. They are very smelly now and I love it. They are also still packing on weight I think. Not a ton, but the buds are clearly getting denser now that some of the pistils are starting to turn orange. I'd say another 2 weeks on these two. As I said, the lighting hasn't changed at all. Not for another few days to a week. Then it will have another power drop. Until then, we are staying at a DLI of 40 mol/m²/d. It's roughly 38 mol/m²/d on the outer part of the canopy. The environment is STILL wonky. I cannot for the life of me get that damned humidity down at all. Not with a dehumidifier, not with the heat cranked, not with the AC cranked. I'll try my big dehumidifier in my room, but the humidity is like 49% and frankly I'd rather the room humidity stay there. Much easier to breathe. However, the humidity in the tent is suffering at 59% while the temp is hanging out still at 76° Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.2° RH: 56.1% VPD: 1.27 kPa May 2, 2024 Not a lot going on today. No watering needed, no trimming, nothing. I found a broken bud on Banana Purple Punch A. It must have been from when it was against the wall, or too close to the other plants and got stuck on a branch while I was rotating. Oh well. It's a lower bud, so not huge. It's also the last day of the week and that means new videos! For the rest of the grow, I'll be making weekly videos of the individual plants. So that will.be this week and the next 2 weeks or so. Banana Purple Punch A looks great aside from that one broken bud. Her buds are fat and thick. Super dense from what I can see. I would like to note that the fade hasn't started yet, so we still have that 2 weeks left. Unless it starts in the next day or 2, I'll be banking on 2 weeks. Banana Purple Punch B is still compact as ever, but her buds are getting fatter everyday and of all the plants in the tent, she has done the best with the nutrients. Very little burn and didn't seem to be bothered by it. Maybe I did something early on to have such a small plant, but still. I think I can bank on 2 oz from each plant. Maybe 3 oz. It's really nothing compared to previous grows, but as I said before, as long as it's fire, I'm happy. Trichome production on both plants is fantastic. They are loaded from top to bottom. And building more and more everyday. There's still plenty of time left for there 2 as well. Most of the trichomes are clear with about 20% being cloudy and sparsely amber. That's another sign that they need another couple of weeks. Maybe slightly less. I increased the light power yesterday back up to 80%. I think I was a bit early on the intensity drop, so I'll drop it again in a few days I think. Around mid week coming up. Now we are running a DLI of 43 mol/m²/d inside and 40 mol/m²/d on the outside. The environment kinda fixed itself, but not to the ideal climate. It's still at 55% humidity. Better than 60%, but still not good enough. It needs to be below 50%. However, I can still control the temp and I have it at 74.5°. I'll turn it up a bit and see if I can clear out the last 5% of the humidity. When it rubs on my hands and clothes the residue is more potent. * The 2 late flowering plants don’t seem to be progressing look the same to me. Day 56 Flowering: This week has been a great week to understand the difference between strains. now close to finishing , it is clear to see how different the bids can look to each other dependant on lineages too. Six shooter has really surprised me with her rapid gains in bud girth. She has seemed to be a lot smaller and somehow stunted for most of the grow. This week has changed her completely, even down to her lower buds which also look a lot thicker than a few days ago. with approx 12 days to go, she could be one of the contenders for yield. She is also very frosty looking now with a nice sweet hit to her. Strawberry Pie is really starting to colour her buds up now and even though they are not joined up colas , each clump looks to be fairly dense and heavy. The buds under direct light at the top look less chunky than the lowers with her too which is a first for me. The light is penerrating lower than I thought due to the structure she has. There are some nice looking lowers just putting new pistils out so she may go a little longer than her 8 weeks stated. Mexican Airline is my secret favourite this run. Hwr bids are stunning looking spiky ,bursts of colour now and with a little longer to go , I wonder how she will look with even more ripening and fattening out. She is a very tall plant and i will train better for the next time I grow this strain. I have had to support a couple of the limbs now as they want to fall with the weight of the buds . I am on standby with more yoyo's if I need them. lol These have been a pleasure to grow as expected and I am now popping some Fast buds Cream cookies auto ( x2) to run next. I dont doubt they will be great to grow. be safe and free growmies.
