Day 43 (Second Grow, Flowering Phase): Hey everyone! We’re well into day 43 of our second grow and deep into the flowering phase. 🌸 The transition has been amazing to witness, with our plants showing significant bud development. The plants are producing beautiful, dense buds, and it’s incredible to see the daily changes and the rapid development. We’ve been maintaining the humidity between 50-60%, but we’re keeping a close eye on it to prevent any issues. We’re considering whether to get a dehumidifier to bring it down to the ideal 40-50%. The SCROG net continues to work wonders, ensuring even light distribution and supporting the heavy buds. Our Timor shield mantis is still patrolling the garden, keeping pests at bay naturally. She’s become quite the guardian! The plants are looking healthy and vibrant. We're excited to see how they continue to develop over the coming weeks. Any tips or advice for optimizing this stage? Blackberry moonrocks both plants are still some of the best seedling in the tent so far. The better if the 2 is for sure the #1 plant in the tent. It has had the best start of a seedling i have seen in a wile. The leaves are angled like an airplane and they just seem thicker than the average leaf. They both seem like there going to have middium to longer indernode spacing. It's looking like a good start to a week the plants are strong they are getting to the point I can let the dried dry out completely. I'm thinking by the end of this week the plants will be starting to be sold. Last week I put all the plants into my bigger 2x4 tent with my medicgrow mini sun 2 the 500w version. Only a few of the plants were ready for that light. Seems like the only plants that really have good resistance and have a strong start are the weedseedsexpress.com seeds. Shout out to weedseedsexpress.com for the strong plants. I ended up putting all the plants back into my 2x2 tent with the 55w amazon light it has alot more blue light in its spectrum. It's kinda weird b4 I switched the plants to the 2x4 tent they were getting 220umol under my amazon 55w led then when I put them under the 500w light 25% strength about 50in from plants and they were getting only about 195umol in that tent but it was stressing most the plants. I assume a larger light has more side lighting hitting the plants. I think when useing larger lights it's good to measure umols from the top but also coming from the sides. I think durring seedling stage they only need about 50% the umols coming from the side the plants as the top is receiving. When I put the plants back in the small tent about the same umols as they were getting b4 the switch and they were still a little stressed. So for a few days I put the small light at the top the tent giving them 100umols for a few hrs then 130umols the rest the day.

Day 78 19/07/24 Friday De-chlorinated tap water today, pH 6 with calmag 7.5ml to 5L water. Updated with short video. I'm waiting on the lime to finish so I can flip these. So this is last week of veg for her, seriously 🤣✌️💚 Great growth and recovery from last week's final topping and lollipop. Can't wait to flip, the smell she is starting to produce already as just the base plant is beautiful. Did all final topping this week on all tops 😁👌 Allowing recovery before flip Day 79 Transition week for flower (Flip Week) 20/07/24 Saturday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag today, she took 5L with 1L run off. Applied heavy LST as she won't fit in tent otherwise when finished!! Day 81 22/07/24 Monday Big feed today using the flower nutes now. De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 added nutrients. Checked pH again 6.2 after 20mins. I use advanced nutrients pH perfect for anyone asking. Noticed sex already, she is throwing out female pistils already 🤯 only flipped Friday 19/07/24. Smell is becoming more noticeable now. Glad she is now in the tent. Will update pictures tomorrow 😁✌️💚 Day 82 23/07/24 Tuesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only, 4L -minor small amount run off. She is getting thirsty 😅 Recovery this week is awesome from final topping I did last week. She is already colour changing her tops and showing sex pistils 🙌 It's a girl yo 🙌💚🤣 Picture update Day 84 25/07/24 Thursday Still no water or feed since Tuesday, it has been overcast last two days though so not a lot of energy been used. The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 1 we had high temperatures of 79° and skies were mostly cloudy. The lows at night have begun to drop below 60°F. It has been extremely humid with tons of dew in the morning. I'll continue to defoliate and spray with biofungicide to get this powdery mildew under control. Day 2 we had early morning rain followed by mostly cloudy skies. High temperature was 77. The rain took care of the watering today. I'm treating with arber again and more defoliation. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 81°F, skies were partly cloudy, and I watered 3-4 gallons from the hose. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 83° with sunny skies. I watered 4-5 gallons from the well. I treated with Arber. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 88°F. Skies were clear and sunny. The humidity was around 90% today. I watered 4-5 gallons from the well. I finally got most of the infected leaves off and have one more plant to do tomorrow. I treated with Arber again today. Day 6 we had high temperature of 89°F. Skies were sunny. I watered about 4-5 gallons with well water. I've been treating these with Arber biofungicide but it's hasn't had much affect. I stripped all the infected leaves and lollipoped two today. I'll get the third tomorrow. I'll treat these tomorrow with growers ally fungicide and see if they can be saved. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 86°F with partly cloudy skies. We're expecting rain tonight and it's super humid today. The weather is not cooperating while I'm treating for powdery mildew. This week was a success. The plants gained on average 6 inches in height. They've slowed down their upward growth and are transitioning into flower. The weather has been atrocious for cannabis. These girls are super healthy but the humidity and cool nights have caused perfect conditions for powdery mildew. I began treatment with Arber biofungicide, but it wasn't doing much. I lollipoped and defolated heavy on two of the plant and finished the third after photos on day 7. The non infected leaves are responding ok to the Arber. I'm switching now and will treat late day 7 with Growers Ally fungicide. I defolated pretty heavy, but I expect a full recovery and increased production as there will be more light penetration.

Week 5 flower going well. Nothing much to report. Increased the drip as she is taking in more water. Turned up the fans to 100% for maximum flow, and due to that, the tent got a bit warmer and a bit dryer, so the exhaust fan and humidifier are working a bit harder. 75-77 deg F, 50-60% RH. Not sure if the lights are to intense or if it’s purple coming through, but at the highest tops there seems to be a bit of discolouration on the newest growth, just at the tips of the new buds. But I’m looking really close and it may be purple, not brown. I’ll keep an eye on it and turn the lights down if symptoms worsen. This plant is growing strong and uniform. Average frost so far. Hopefully she keeps growing well until the end. Thanks for the views…keep calm and grow on!

Fastbuds seeds Gorilla zkittles auto Only using spring water for first week and spraying with foop mist. Going to use foop nutrients with Humboldts secret cal/mag and nectar for the gods ph up and down! Planted right into substrate. I’m using Mother Earth coco coir/perlite mix with hydroton at bottom of pot

She stretched on me. Turned up the light a little . I made a mound with the coco around her to keep her up right. I purposely don’t fill the grow bag to the top for this reason. She’s already strong enough to hold her self up now. I’ll add a bit more coco for extra support. Added some dynomyco

Plants looking great as we sail into the last leg! I ordered more Mephisto b/c I love how well this and past grows have gone! Need to defoliate and clean em up more this week The change in humidity def stresses em out. I think i need to try and bring em down naturally

Week one done and I’m very optimistic! Added “grow big” into my watering this week, while also upping the dose of “big bloom.” Also I dropped my light down a bit just to control growth!

It was fun to grow in the back yard. I wouldn’t grow again though. They get stressed and stunted very easily. Don’t smell. Low yield. Low potency.
