I got a week and a half notice that I had to go on a work trip out of country for 10 days, so the clown show continued. I was definitely overwatering them. Thanks @shinsimilla, I saw the difference after waiting a few extra days. Also, I definitely should have started LST at least a week earlier than I did. Now for work issues: I found an old security camera that the cats had knocked over a million times and damaged. With a lot of tape, I got it working again and set up in the tent so I could see what’s going on while gone. Be warned, the photos are NOT good quality. I also looked up DIY self-watering systems. I needed it as simple as possible to reduce the risk of something breaking while I was thousands of miles away. I found one where it wicks water up a cotton or wool string. Here's the link: https://youtu.be/P0hn5cKZ0Z0 I cut up an old 10K shirt that was made of cotton. I had just broken down my balcony garden since it’s already getting cold here. I took two long planters, lined them with a construction garbage bag to be the reservoirs. Even though the floor of the grow tent is waterproof and I put plastic between the floor and outside of the grow tent, I didn’t want to risk any water getting out while I was away. I was nervous y’all. Basically, you wet the fabric then use a chopstick to run the it through the plant from bottom to top. It needs to be long enough to have a few inches sitting in the bottom of the reservoir. I filled each with 3L of water with the BioBizz nutrients mixed in and ph’d to 6.1. More info in week 5.

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. What a nice harvest. Fingers were like id been playing with super glue. And stunk of lemon orange + fuel. Sex on stems. Really nice harvest. I stripped thus one down a lot more than what I normally do ad it had a lot of weird shapes. And the HST points would of made for an uneven dry in parts. Took over 14 days to dry at 19.5c 50-55rh. 2 months curing. Yet, not much was left to show. I don't think it was THE BEST pheno. So I will do a hunt on this and grow 3 while prepping clones and will find that perfect one and grow the oranges off it. Fuck lemon is GOOOODDDDDDD LEMON & ORANGES SOOOOO FUUUCCCCKKKIIINNNGGGG

Backing off the feeds a little now that they are coming into the final weeks of flower. Did a good bit of defoliating this week to help get airflow to the lower areas. Happy with the bud growth they are really starting to fatten up now. Onto week 8! 😬✌️

💚💚Week 8💚💚 Welkom terug allemaal bij week 2 visuele bloei. Dames hebben letterlijk en figuurlijk de max op gaan zoeken kwa hoogte. Lampen hangen inmiddels op de max hoogte en nog blijven de banners verder strekken. Volgende week zal ik hier dus maatregelen voor moeten nemen. Langzaam aan ben ik wat extra pk aan het toevoegen. Ec is inmiddels 1.6 en zoals ik nu kan zien doen ze het goed. De Runtz heeft echter heel veel moeite gehad met de omschakeling. Eindelijk begint ze met haar eindspurt en zijn de voorbloei goed zichtbaar. Echter loopt ze toch wat achter op de rest. Dat was hem weer voor deze week. Volgende week flinke veranderingen dus... So, I ended up harvesting this earlier than I wanted, and not under ideal circumstances. My plan was 1 more week of full nutes, then 2 weeks flushing, then harvest. Nature had other plans. Despite being quite meticulous with the insecticide I had to deal with a pretty nasty aphid infestation which messed up a few branches - but worse was the caterpillars I discovered over the weekend. I started the flush then & began to cut off all of the leaves that had the worst pests (as opposed to continuing the insecticide). I wanted to continue to flush for as long as I could until the bugs were getting out of control. I felt today was that day as I noticed caterpillar droppings in several locations. My last harvest was ravaged by caterpillars so I decided to just chop her down for damage limitation. She might not taste as good as she could have, but oh well.

🌸 Week 4 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Week 4 has officially started and all 6 phenos have entered flowering 🔥🌸 Really happy to see every plant transitioning into bloom now. From this point on, things should get much more interesting because the differences between the phenos are becoming impossible to ignore. 📈 Current observations: Several phenos are stretching hard since flowering started Some plants are already reaching heights of around 40 cm Growth patterns are becoming much clearer between each phenotype On the taller phenos you can already see that the first side branches are developing almost like additional main colas 👀 💧 Feeding & training: This week the plants received their first bloom nutrients following the Master Recipe. I also continued removing selected large fan leaves that were shading potential flower sites to improve light penetration and help lower branches develop more evenly. 📊 Current environment: Temperature stable around 26°C Humidity remaining between 63–65% VPD holding around 1.3 kPa Light intensity unchanged Now the exciting phase begins — the next few weeks will probably be the most important ones to identify the strongest and most beautiful phenos in the hunt 👀🔥 💬 Which pheno do you think will dominate once flower production really kicks in?

The strong one, after my fail attempt to lst her yesterday her stem is soooo damn strong now, damn. She looks good and fucking strong. I don’t know if I will lst her again. They are all my first run so we see what happens XD happy growing out there

È iniziata da poco la 4°settima, sembra stiano crescendo bene le piccole😍 in questi giorni mi sono dedicato a un po' di defogliazione e di giorno in giorno cerco di migliorare LST per favorire la penetrazione della luce. Alzato il dimmer al 75% e ho allontanato un po' la lampada dalle piante e sembra stia o reagendo bene! Spero tanto di fare un buon lavoro! 💪 Ai prossimi aggiornamenti! AGGIORNAMENTO: Sono passati 2 giorni dalle ultime foto pubblicate, si stanno infoltendo per bene le piccole😍 aspetterò ancora un altro po' per mandarle in fioritura,vorrei riuscire ad occupare più spazio superficiale possibile. Sto alternando con le annaffiature fertilizzando moderatamente una volta si e una no.. per il momento sembra tutto ok!😎
