I believe my plants are finally getting acclimated to the medium and recovering from transplant shock. New growth is looking much healthier. Just as a preventative measure, I picked up some Botanicare Hydroguard to use in an attempt to supplement the roots and bring the pH of the soil down to where I want it. Personally, the pH remains just a tad too high for my liking this week. I would like it more in the range of 5.7-6.5 but I'll give it a week or so to see the reaction to the Hydroguard. I've continued with more LST on all but the Glookies #2. On this plant I simply did a topping. It was a risk, considering the plants isn't vibrantly healthy, but I need to maintain it's height. I also did a second topping to the American Pie #1. As can be observed from the photos, not all of the plants were shaped the same way. I got creative with the fabric pots and I decided to LST a few plants a little bit differently just to see which technique/style I liked the most. So far, I am digging the way the Jelly Bananen #1/#2 and American Pie #2 are shaping up. They are going to have a beautiful, wide canopy when they head into flower. I'm considering transplanting into 5 gallon fabric pots within the next week or two so I can flip them to flower two weeks later. My intuition is telling me this has been a pretty lengthy vegetative stage, thus far. I'm expecting all of my plants to double in size during the flowering stage, which should be anywhere between 65-70 days long. I made sure to select strains with similar flowering times (60-70 days). 06/20/2019 Transplanted! Finally! Into my own compost, see the baby worm in second video, coming out for the camera, As if on prompt. Amended with 0-5-0 to help roots lessen transplant shock.and get her comfy ASAP.She should adjust quite well. It will be a great week outside for transplant according to the weather man.

Stretch is in full swing. Yellowing of bottom leaves so increasing nutrients all the way around. Other than that top portion of plant is healthy and green full of growth

I didn’t expect this difference in height as they came from the same bank and have the same genetics, I also realized that one is already with all the brackets created and some brown ones, while others have not yet created, I predict a sliced cooheita. same concentration of ferts and cooler nights for this second half of flora. fasten your belts that these amnesias are coming with everything what they have. if you love blueberry then this strain is for u,absolute nug fest.Nice colas.wasnt the tallest plant but short and stocky with decent meat on the bones.Very resistant

happy with the growth of this plant. its the top performer in my tent in terms of vegetative growth :)ive noticed purple/brown tips on the leaves, and purple leaf edges and stems. if anyone can help and guide me through flowering feel free to give me a comment or private message :) I feel more happy and alive now that ive been caring for these plants the last while. i love watching the progress day to day, listening to music with them and singing to them, they are quickly becoming a really big part of my life and health. over the moon that ive reached the flowering phase! roll on harvest and il update this when im home as my phone is gonna die! :) Update - Day 37 - 29/10/19 Flushed the plant today, runoff ph was 5.95 and ppm was 837. i have to flush to obtain runoff in these pots and i think this is causing problems, especially because im not using RO water. the ppm of my water is 140, and thats what ive been using for my first grows. (il pick up some water from the store soon) so im using 5 gallon pots with pure coco and autoflowers, the flushing to obtain runoff i think is just taking away from precious time in the plants life cycle. it would probably have been easier to grow photos in these pots and veg them out until they are monsters and then flip into flowering. oh well theres always next grow. and still for a first grow im happy with where im at :) watered: 1.8L/4ml Canna A/4ml Canna B/3ml Rhizotonic/3ml Cannazym. ppm 380. this should help with the purpling of the leaves and help flowering :) also needed that flush to get rid of salt buildup! Day 39 - 31/10/19 Happy halloween folks! Wow... Quick one is thriving now, i think ive learned enough to keep the plants in a near optimal setting :) tooks some photos and a video as usual, loving how the plants are developing! anyway this plant has grown about 6cm in 3-4 days, and its the buds getting taller instead of veg growth :) if actually looks like a plant off the 📺 more and more. i think im gonna get between 12-20 grams off this plant :) the flush worked a treat and i think the old nute and salt buildup was stopping it stretching! following cannas feeding schedule slightly for the ratio of nute/water. i learned that:(cocoforcannabis.com) Coco is supposed to be mostly saturated at all times which in turn means less watering to get runoff. now that im in the flowering stage too im watering once every morning at lights on! maybe when i get the tehnique down i can increase to two waterings per day - once at lights on, and once 10 hours later. To sum up this week ive had a lot of stretchy growth ,(flowering) a nice lavender like smell from the plant. a better fertigation schedule and i learned how to make dry ice hash from popcorn and trim :) i tried this in barcelona and it was amazing! super expensive so it will be nice to have my own stash :) Dont forget to check out my videos and my other diaries :) all the best!

420Fastbuds TrainWreck Auto Week 1 of Veg What up grow fam. These 2 have sprouted ok. Having a little trouble with both, one sprouted with no cotyledons the other only had one. Both had popped after 48hrs of being in the soil. Still misting the top soil with my sprayer to keep the soil moist but will start regular manual watering of 500ml every other day this week. Une fois la plantule sortie et d'une hauteur de 2 ou 3 centimètres je la prend délicatement et la place directement dans son pot définitif. Je préconise des pots allant entre 10 litres et 15 litres pour des autofloraisons cultivées en intérieur. Le pot aura été préalablement préparé (video dans diarie) avec 30 grammes d'engrais greenhouse feeding biobloom et 30 grammes de greenhouse feeding biogrow, soit l'équivalent de 3 grammes par litre de substrat. Je dépose donc la plantule dans son pot définitif je recouvre un peu de avec de la terre je tasse légèrement et j'arrose pour garder le substrat humide pas plus Je place ma lampe led 300watts à environ 90 centimètres de la plantule avec un cycle de lumière de 24/24 pendant une semaine. Au début de la semaine 2 le cycle de lumière passera en 20/4 grace a un programmateur car c'est pour moi le cycle de lumière qui offre le meilleur rendement pour une autofloraison. Jour1: léger arrosage Jour2: léger arrosage Jour3: la plantule commence à être plus vigoureuse mise en place de la ventilation pour augmenter sa masse racinaire et léger arrosage Jour4: arrosage avec un litre et demi d'eau ph6.3 à laquelle j'ai ajouté 0.9 gramme de greenhouse feeding enhancer (soit 0.6 gramme par litre d'eau) Jour5: aucune technique spéciale Jour6: aucune technique spéciale Semaine agréablement calme sans problème ni carence apparente Que la force soit avec vous !

This is my best auto flower grow so far. I’m kinda bummed I didn’t let her finish completely, I think she had about another week and a half left. She was just getting too big and barely any light was penetrating the other ladies I had vegging. She still gave me a great harvest and nice looking flowers.

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. This is true of seed starts or clones made from seed starts. The opposite is not always true; indoor clones often give an outdoor grower headaches because they don't always make the transition smoothly. This is due to light spectrum, temperature, and/or photoperiod changes. The different parallel lines that we are developing can be directed in a few different pathways flavorwise. Q. Why are the seeds white? A. Why is the sky blue? No, the mature seeds are shrouded by a rice paper thin membrane which has coloring and mottling on it, but it's so fragile that it disintegrates in the process of shucking. Stripped of the outer layer the seeds are very pale, nearly white. It came as no surprise that this plant would have abnormal seeds. Q. Is it a GMO? A. Wow...? Freakshow will produce nice, fat, dense colas (see gallery) with remarkable trichome coverage, and you can expect yields according to your veg. time, root space, and general knowledge and expertise as a gardener. The same set of variables apply to expected outcomes regarding cannabinoid levels and terpene profiles. Q.What is the lineage? A. (Bigbud x Skunk#1) x (Big Sur Holy Weed x Banana Kush). NLD("Sativa") dominant, but the afghanica influence is apparent. I'm pretty sure that Freakshow contains some Trainwreck and some Maui Wowie based on some research I did on the origins of the Pineapple Express. Interestingly Big Sur Holyweed, OG Kush, Banana, Trainwreck, and Maui Wowie are all of unclear origins. We have to remember that these are all just names and that they don't really mean much. The exact heritage of any cultivar today is impossible to determine accurately. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. This includes 0botritis, PM, various mites and insects, soil fungus, etc. We haven't heard any complaints along those lines so far, so if anyone has any problems, especially with a rigorous IPM regimen in place, we would like to hear about it. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations.
