Germinated in a glass of water for 24hrs then into a wet paper towel for 36hrs then into the coco. this time around I was talked into growing with organic nutrients by my local grow shop. on there advice I left the shop with some pro xl organic nutrient kit and a bag of pro xl sublime coco. This girl sprouted straight away two days before Christmas and shot straight up two days quicker than my other plant.
This plant seems to be loving life straight from the bean! continues to grow well was worried the coco maybe to hot for them as it comes pre fertilized with couple weeks food but she seems to be thriving atm. giving about a litre of water phd to 6.1 with 1ml root stimulator every 3/4 days
Plant growing well stretching in all directions. this thing just want to do its thing and grow. had some temp issues due to being winter here. invested in a small oil filled radiator my temps stay between 24-26c with lights on and drops to 19/20c lights off. feeding ph water at 6.1 with 1.5ml of root stim every few days. very happy so far with this ones progress
Growing very well still. started feeding nutrients. Man organic nutes stink lol.no burnt tips as of yet plant seems to be loving life still. started lst training early as left it to late last time and the main stem is already thickening so started to bend it over. its already starting to benefit from this with all branches starting to reach up to a nice even canopy. learning slowly... this is my 2nd grow and think I fed way to often n 2 regular last time so backed off a fair bit this time and plants seem to be thriving
how do they look?? decided to give a preflower defoliation of the lower branches and leaves so air and light can penetrate the canopy better. Hoping to have fewer but larger denser colas than my last run where i had a lot of popcorn nugs. will be starting flowering nutes within the next week as can see plenty of white pistols coming through now. plants coming along nicely. only fed twice a week so far. letting medium dry out before re feeding. learning from my 1st grow that some times less is more. it is a weed after all
so this week my fan decided to fall off its mounting and land straight in my plant. ripping off a branch... devastated. still growing nicely just hope it didn't shock it to much. saying that also flushed the plant as the soil was hot in nitrogen. leaves had gone dark and the tips were clawing. i checked the run off and was like 9000 ppm. now I'm a newbie and not sure if u measure runoff different with soil but that is crazy numbers...like plant killing numbers but they still growing just with some nitrogen toxicity. flushed them down so now got a clean slate and will start bringing in bloom nutes slowly over next few days. also purchased a mars hydro tsw2000 today so that will be going in once it arrives. will have 300w instead of 150w so hoping for denser buds
So after last weeks flush I have developed brown spots on the upper leaves. am i right in thinking the plant need cal mag? i have never used it before now. but is on both my plants. anyways i bought some and have just given its 1st dose of it with phd water. seems to be on the leaves that had the claw and only the very top of the plant. other than this the buds seem to be growing nicely and have plenty of trichomes covering them. Also starting to get sticky. i have also installed my new tsw2000 which has bumped my heat enough so i can take out my heater. temp stays around 27c. could this also have brought up my problem? my plan is to give ph water with cal mag for couple days before starting the nutes. this seem like the right action? any advice is much appreciated
so I still seem to be battling this deficiency. i have brown spots on the tops leaves. Thought it was a issue with calcium and magnesium so started feeding cal mag. i wouldn't say they have got a lot worse but I wouldn't say its solved it in the past week either. my ph going in is around 6.3- 6.5. and the run off is 6.3. i think i should never have flushed as all the issues have been since I flushed. I also upgraded the light around the same time. anyone reading this have any ideas? i flushed because the were clawing from to much nitrogen. has my plant gone into lock out and soils become hot again? plant itself seems fine. buds are coming along very nicely and fattening everyday. just the spotting on the leaves is worrying me. anyone advise?
so checked the trichomes with my camera and this girl already has a fair few ambers. the aim is to let her go another 10 days so i can chop same time as my other plant. buds are looking amazing. 100 times better than my last grow theyre so dense and sticky. smells of candy with a chocolatey skunk tone to it
harvested on day 66. trichomes been turning amber for last couple of weeks. but she is amazing. bud structure is top notch and the smell is unreal. this was my first organic grow and only second ever. the difference in my grows are night and day and i will be staying organic for sure. i cant recommened it enough. will update weights etc when its all dried hopefully on the weekend coming
