Day 44 01/07/2025, I flushed with a quarter strength nutrient solution but kept with the usual does of cannazym and Rhizotonic as sure it could only help her, im experiencing some issues with yellowing and a few brown spots plus tip burn, I've never done an auto before and never considered that they might need less feed than a photoperiod, feel very stupid, so with that being considered I think it was probably for the best and will move forward with half strength feeds. I am also actually trying to get the night cycle in check as I've been advised of some processes that won't happen with the low VPD that I was allowing to happen at night, the dehumidifier works but also heats the room up to nearly daytime temps, it's a desiccant dehumidifier though and I think it just pumps out more heat, I'll have to reinvest in a more suitable dehumidifier Maybe the issue is too much calmag, it also has iron in it and an iron excess can cause a manganese deficiency, unsure.. I have had some heat issues over the last week hit 30c for a short time and has been consistently over 28c, I have kept the humidity higher to keep vpd in line but it's not great, this is just due to some very warm conditions in my area over the last week or so, and I just don't have the cooling capacity to deal with it, hoping things cool down a bit now so I can at least make sure temperature is ok..

From the start i wanted these plants to grow on its natural potential. No topping, no training. My experiment was to see the results compared to a trained plant. From what i saw, deffo topp or train these. Even if it takes longer to grow, it will give better yields. Overall its got a strong and tasty smoke. Just didnt harvest in 8 weeks like what the manufacturer sais. But 12 weeks is not bad. Dry weight: 32 grams Atleast this grow was a success, so im happy. Next is Mephisto genetics! My PPM was 180 in plant B and 190 in plant A, today i gave I little bit more nutrients to both of them, rising the ppm to 290/ ph 6,15- plant A - and 320 / ph 6,1 plant B.

The humidity continues to be very high and even the small humidifier I put inside the tent isn’t bringing it to where I need to be. Probably going to go out and get a dehumidifier to cover the entire basement or vent it out my next grow. Either way, it doesn’t seem to be harming them too much. It’s finally stopped stretching and the buds have started to fatten. Orange hairs are starting to show and most of the buds are sticky to the touch ( even brushing my arm up against them). Still defoliating a little each day to see if that helps with the humidity.

Another week and no signs of flower or pre flower, definitely not the quickest one. Plants keep looking really great, the topped one too but it is smaller than the others yet. Two of them have insane leaves, i think that i'm going to defoliate it later if it becomes neccesary i have moved the lamp to mantain it at 35cm, i don't have so many margin to move it upper. according to gb strains the hegight should be between 0,7 and 1.2, let's see

2/17 MONDAY They are getting TALL. I did this video last night. 2/18 Tallest canopy Ive had in a while, I need supplemental lighting!!! Finally found a use for the extra AC Infinity Nursery lights!!!!! Extra lights only use 15.5W max!!! 2/19 8am the light setup works pretty good, I do turn them every couple of hours they work great. The canopy is very dense and I have one more plant than I expected so this will have to do. 2/20 530pm They did great, not sure if the light is helping. If you've followed me for a while you will know how proud I am of my first photo grow. Now this strain was gifted to me and I'm super happy with them. They've been strong, had to move them twice in 24 hours and still seemed happy. Would of really liked to keep a cut of pheno 3 as that looks a good yielder and smells lovely. I've not weighed it as its pointless wet and untrimmed. Anything over 5-6oz I'll be happy 🤷‍♂️🏼🤣 will be back to update in 10 days 🤞🏻✌️🏻

I'm really digging the Chem OG, squat plants with those trademark thick thick thick indica leaves, clearly it's gonna be a heavy smoke lol Wasnt able to get the juices flowing this week, hopefully next week i'll get the smart protein into feed. Started training some of these, did two more defoliations (total of three light defos so far) ... and then flipped them 4 days ago. the f-ing landlord has been attempting to enter the lab according to my security cameras lol, motherfucker !!!! anyway i have to pack up the lab, hopefully i'll be able to complete the grow cycle , but for sure i'll have to move the grow op ... that's my problem, sure but it also means that i'll have to wait in order to set up my perpetual cycle... and of course i cant really take cuttings if i'm moving the lab... why must people be so curious? really wish there would be at least a bit more tolerance around this hobby just so i can sleep peacefully at night... in the mean time , I lowered my lights to 22cm, i heard from someone (forgot who) that it's a good thing to get the lights closer when you flip so that the plant gets that extra energy for the stretch. 09/29/2020 Washing off all the nasty dust, pollen,and such that has accumulated over her long veg and flower period. She is 72.1 grams wet I guess she should dry out to around 18-22 grams. Which is fine as this was a tester to see if I will do again. I am keeping a clone till I grow a few dozen more seeds, to see different phenotype/genotype. It will take some time but I am hunting for a UNICORN before I will stop! 🙏 lol Good candidate for a grafting project Will update the rest of the report in a couple weeks to let dry out and cure some before testing. I chose this strain because it is said to not make me hungry and no red eyes but I will let you know soon.🙏 10/07/2020 She's dry and jarred up final weight 21.2 grams. Smell of hay and sugar should improve over next couple weeks. Preliminary smoke report, very smooth not much taste but feel it right away soon after first hit last 3.5 hrs. So just waiting on the cure for full flavor report.

So WHY is this auto taking so damn long to mature??? Is this normal? It's my first hydro grow, but my wife's soil grow started after mine (more than a week) + was grown in the exact same room .... but has been harvested over the past TWO weeks. Thoughts? Not much needed doing this week. Did a huge trim mid week that was posted to a mid week update in last week's diary entry. She didn't like it at first but then bounced back pretty well. I think I have a very slight touch of nutrient burn on some of the tips, but it could also be a touch dry as we're having a hard time keeping the room over 40% humidity as the outdoor temps here are stupid cold recently. Hoping to harvest in 2 weeks or so.. but could be longer. Urgh. She's a big, bountiful, heat-loving lady that's finally a under a bit of vegetative control... but apparently REALLY likes to take things slow.
