Last week, my pound cake auto plant totally exploded with growth! It's insane how much it's changed. I swear it grew several inches overnight. The leaves are this gorgeous shade of green, and the whole thing looks super healthy and happy. I'm seriously so proud of my little plant baby.

February 28, 2019 Update: Getting close to the end here. I'm going to start flushing the Cherry Hemp plants this weekend and chop them down the following weekend. The DinaMed, Critical+ and Cream & Cheese should only be a week or two away from flush also. Feeding only MegaCrop & Cal+Mag Pro until the flush. This week I took pictures with the lights off and my camera flash on, I think these pics look better than last weeks. Bonus pic at the end of the view from my bedroom window. I'd love to see my buds get that frosty! 👍

I’d say another week, maybe a little more before harvest. Been feeding my plants RO Water only and I see the trichomes starting to build up. Buds are getting fatter and frostier compared to last week for sure. Starting to really smell like gas. Super sweet candy like smell.

Welcome to the 2018/19 indoor grow season!!! I am starting this diary for all current seedlings and clones I have started. I'll also be doing separate diaries for some strains individually (but not all). So, currently I'm about a week in on average with these seedlings and clones. The Seedsman CBD Cream & Cheese and DinaMed CBD+ were started a few days earlier and started stretching using only the 18w T5 my humidity dome came with. So I set up one of my LED's over the humidity dome instead. So far that seems to be helping the newer seeds from stretching too high. I'm also seeing some burn on some girls, I guess the soil must be too hot. I started to try to flush through with straight ph'ed water, but then I started seeing signs of overwatering (rookie mistake, I know). Now I'm just trying to keep a little water on the bottom tray so it generates some humidity in the dome. There's also a heat mat under the tray I have the heat mat on a timer also, 30 min on/30 min off cycling all day. It seemed to get too hot on 24/7. I'll be transplanting and moving to my 2'x4' tent in about a week. They will live there during veg, then I'll be moving to a 4'x8' tent (not purchased yet) for flower. I'm also planning on adding some COB LED's in the flower tent. Then I'll dedicate my 2x4 tent to mothers, clones and seedlings. Its going to be a little different this season with both photo period and autoflowering strains going at the same time. But I'm looking forward to it! 👍 Stay tuned...

Just letting them cruise along now. Hopefully they dense up and start adding a bit of size on. Pushing them pretty hard seem to be taking it. 900ppfd and 2.5 ec only just showing tip burns on one. Seem to be holding nitrogen. 24 to 25 degrees and 50 humidity most the time.

Overall a giant disappointment, the Fast Flower FF was an Autoflower AF, Its put me off fast flowers and really whats one week when you grow indoors for an early harvest. Just because i realized im not really providing info about my potted grow but I have been using Mother Earth coco plus perlite i added worm castings, bat guano, n vegetable garden 4-4-4. just p.h'd water at 6.50. once in flower i would water with a diluted solution from my dwc and PPM under 200PPM.

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. 8/30 - Day 65: All is great. Plant 1 will be harvested very soon, I'm thinking September 6th or 13th... all depends on the trichome development. I have come across a wicked calcium deficiency that I am solving with foiler spray and a little more supplemented in the nute mix, but I don't quite understand what's happening. I will post a question and update with information. I read it takes about a week to fix, so I'm not to worried about it ruining my harvest, it just sucks and I want to fix it. 8/3 - Day 69: Fuck... man... it's CRAZY how much they change overnight at this stage. We are flushing plant 1 (center plant in photos) Sunday, and we will harvest her September 13th, at the latest. I check her trichomes everyday and they are still not milky — so we wait! Colors are beautiful, bright orange and a wonderful violet purple. The sugar is just piling itself on. Smell is average, but if you bump them, or trim a leaf... it gets much, much more potent. The buds are sticky as literal superglue. I cannot wait to smoke. We have been fighting a small CalMag deficiency the past 8 days, but I think we are out of it. Typically takes 6-8 days to see any sort of relief from this, and I haven't seen it spread to a few of the older colas, so that's good! I'll get some more micro shots later this week. Harvest scheduled for September 13th. Flush starts tomorrow - 9/6. Fuck. Yes.

The plant is growing very good i dont see any problems. I started with the LST training and cut 1 branch of wich wouldnt get much light.

Beautiful, and productive week. They drink a lot of water, I give them 10 litres/4 days. They are truly enjoying the environment, hopefully we will have a large harvest.
