Well another week for this adoptepted Gelato. I got simi bad news. The main stem snapped! It Snapped while tying branches down. Trying not to panic, i tried to put the branch back together again nice and tightly with some tape. After securing the branch I gave this plant a good feeding. Im really keeping my fingers crossed with this girl, only time can tell. Let me kno what yall think. If she do not bounce back, I plan to go ahead with the flip and get what I can from the remaining branches...

End of week 10 and coming on well now smells starting to get strong now on these especially the papaya cookies she’s frosting well and the branches are starting to bend so will need to hold them up soon gorilla cookies #2 had some problems but hopefully will recover nicely onto next week and happy growing peace

Ed ha raggiunto finalmente la sorella n.2 L ultima in fondo nei video invece è la numero 2 che mostra una stupenda, robusta e folta struttura a candelabro. Sono molto contento di come sta procedendo la crescita delle sorelle. Ottimo!!!💪 L odore si fa più intenso ma ancora troppo generale per definirlo. 6th week of veg. Is finally in the books and all systems are go for the flower show. As they’re revegged clones, their branching structure is just ridiculous. Sucker branches everywhere pulling nutrient flow away from the winners. Right before we flipped and as per videos - we gutted every single plant and crushed it down to no more than about 7 tops max per plant. The whole goal is only to flower select, top shelf bud with every opportunity (and space) to grow to its fullest potential. So far, Druid nutrients has fit the bill for every one of em and they’re all extremely happy on this system👍. We also couldn’t resist and snipped another run of clones off each one but the Skywalker. Not sure if the boogie nights or blueberrys will make it but u never really know do you🤷. That said, the diy aerocloner has been a beast for us and minus an aphid issue last round - she puts out a 100% success rate😉. We’ll use the best of these as complimentary to reg. Run of some spicy bitch we’ve got coming up. Even if the pollen chuck is a failure - we won’t be losing any of the elite white widow or blueberry genetics🤞🤞🤞🤞. Other than that - it’s all wait’n on the buds now👍👌👍. Until next week. Background This ones tied to part 2 of the pollen chuck. Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. A lot of rain and wind, continuously. Temps have dropped as well. I’m reading another week or two to chop this plants. Sativa dominant hybrids did the best, the Fastberry and the banana purple punch did not really develop as the other two. In specifics the cbd crack developed sizable buds, and the blue dream as well, the flowers are not as developed tight and dense as in the indoor grow. A bit of fox-tailing nothing too expressive. Minimal work, as per the setup chosen, an no extra nutes this week.

This week was quite cloudy with some rainy days. I increased the Bio-Bloom dosage as advised by the manufacturer. The buds smell really good now :)

Today I spread eggshells and baking soda on the surface of the floor. I watered until wastewater came out and then immediately measured the pH. #1 drain ph 6.5 #2 drain ph 7 for both looking so sick, the pistils extremely large and resinous🤩 (Day 58) The baking powder probably didn't do them any good.But they look very good and are covered in trichomes.Even the stems where the buds begin are covered with trichomes. (Day 60) Watered 2500ml water and removed some dying leaves.(Day 62)

Looks like everything's going well. Hoping they will put on a lot more weight. But it looks like I'll be stuck in trim hell for a long time.

Growing fast liking the #3 for far #1 is the slowest growing

Finally decent temperatures and we can start the flower! They recovered well from the temperature shock and show some growth. They got a massive haircut and trained. Now they can enter flower stage. Each plant got 50 g of Wizzy's Flower 6-8-10 organic fertilizer, 3 g / 10 L of Plant Booster and 1g / Liter Weedtamines. A few days ago. Tomorrow they'll get their dose of Pflanzengeflüster (Plant Whisper) to increase flower production.

More like HST instead of LST. This week was all about low stress training or lst. But as it was for the very first time I would say it was more of a high stress trainig (for me of course). First ties I started already the previous week but this week was hard tie downs on pretty much every branch. Since I messed up the first week and put my lights on almost max power the plants didnt strech out for light and are pretty low and bushy. Thats why the space is really tight and lst is just the thing to do. I used a metal string since I think its better because I can adjust it more and all tension is not on the string. For the past 2 weeks or so I noticed some weird spots on one leaf. This week it went on 3 more leafs and on one more plant. After some research I found out thats a serious Calcium defficiency. Since I’m not from US I didn’t have the same things as in videos I watched. So I didnt get the regular cal mag. But instead some from local store and I must say it was bad choice. Way too less calcium. Ordered a proper one and hopefully it will come in the next fee days. Another interesting thing happened. At the beginning I was cinsidering toping. But after researching more decided no to go with it on the first grow. As the lack of calcium appeared I went full blast with feeding. And it appears thats I was underfeeding, since I thought that my coco was too wet. Guess what happened when I went from once in 3days to twice per day. Thats right. The growth was massive ! One of the metal strings somehow got stuck in the plant and when this acceleration happened it simply snaped itself of 😳 I must say I was a bit sad at the moment, but then I figured it’s some form of self-toping. Not that I wanted it to happen on my strongest plant. But will see what will happen out of it. Alltogether this was a nice week full of wide strech and a lot of new knowledge!

49 days from planting seed. All 4 plants are now flowering The runt has grown a little this week and is now flowering, I am starting to think that it could be a different strain? look at the difference in appearance compared to the others. It is now 17 inch. looks more like an indica strain? The other three are looking good, 2 measure at 30 inch and the third is slightly behind at just under 26 inch. All three look healthy. lots of flowers appearing. No changes to my setup this week other than moving my light up a few inches, starting to run out of head room in my short tent, will have to consider moving the fan and filter outside my tent if they get any taller. No rhizotonic in my reservoir now but I have increased my A & B to 3ml per litre.

She's kicking out some serious trichome production, bud mass is increasing daily, things are going well👌🏻🏻
