Really love a set of scales to keep track of weight too. pH and EC are both critical for thriving plant health, but temperature also plays a pivotal role in achieving optimal growth. It also happens to be the fundamental parameter that's most commonly overlooked. When you think about temperature in the context of a growing environment, you could be referring to the temperature of the air around the plants or you could also be referring to the temperature of nutrient solution or irrigation water, which will affect the root zone temperature. While air temperature is important, for the purposes of this piece, I'll be focusing on root zone temperature and its effect on nutrient uptake and overall plant health. That's because a plant's root system is the location of two essential chemical processes: water and nutrient absorption. In each of these processes, having the correct root zone temperature is paramount for these to occur efficiently. In a nutshell, root zone temperature will affect the rate at which your plants are able to absorb nutrients. If you let your root zone temperature remain unmonitored and uncontrolled, this could lead to disastrous effects on your overall crop yield. Nutrient absorption is largely driven by chemical processes, which take place in your plants' roots; the efficacy of these processes is determined by the temperatures to which those roots are exposed. Once your root zone temperature moves out of its optimal range, the plant will not be able to deliver optimal levels of nutrients and water. Ideally, you should aim to have your nutrient solution or irrigation water temperature at around 18 – 22 °C (65 - 72 °F) to ensure optimal nutrient and water uptake. In addition to having an effect on nutrient absorption, your root zone temperature also affects oxygen availability and solubility. If your water is too warm, you could risk starving your roots of oxygen as warm water cannot hold as much dissolved oxygen as colder water. I cut the plant after 48 hours of total darkness. To flush the best, I ran a few dozen liters of water through the jar until the one that came out below was transparent. Although the flowers failed to close, I am satisfied with the result and the smell of the buds inspires a good terpene. To dry well, I moved the grow box to the room with an air conditioner. I'm keeping the temperature around 26-27 degrees and the humidity around 50%.

ok so everything has gone fantastic , no nutrient burns at all , and have been slowly creeping up the base nutrients , i have stopped the cal mag and now adding house and gardens bud XL at full strength these girls are now in full swing of flower and i bought a new ph stick this week , i have found when PHing the feed bucket that its best too have air stones in the bucket , add all nuts and then ph but do not use the feed that day as if you check the next day the ph is off again so i left it 24 hours after i add more ph down , and it seems too make the measurements alot easier and stable , i have bent down the main stems " without damaging them onto my netting too A keep the canopy all the same high so my lighting is covering all plants at the same distance and also it allowed the side stems too reach up too , the zkittlez did stay alot shorter and compact compared too the rest , but she has had the shame conditions than the rest , so she much just be a shorter pheno type i also was sponsored another new led light by kingbo this week so have added another 600watt led too the grow , so now have two 600's and one 900watt , and temps are still fine sitting at 24c lights on and 19-20 off , so am pleased with that , this lady stayed very short and compact and didn't really stretch much at all and it by far the smallest plant of the bunch ,

Week 11 has better defined picture of this cultivar in her final phase. Ended up being exactly 12 weeks from seed. Smells delicious will be hanging whole as the humidity was initially very low at 45% now with a humidifier currently sitting at 55% and 70 Deg which is not bad. She received 48hrs of darkness.

Amazing smell I'll say it a million times what an absolute pleasure to have this lady in my grow, I love to smoke this strain and what I love the most is that both phenos smell exactly the same as my last haze berry which I harvested a few weeks ago, can't wait to taste those buds again! 👨‍🌾💯💎😍 Stay tuned to see how this ladies keep developing!

Now we are in week 8. Plants stopped growing. I will let them grow two more weeks and then I will at least harvest two of them. Depending on the trichomes I will keep the other two for 4-5 weeks more, because I will be away ... traveling lets hope that the sun is coming out again and that the buds get bigger and bigger in the last two weeks. BTW I stopped giving any type of nutrients, just water.

Day 28-35 (May 28th - June 4th) (Day 29) My rooted blackberry #3 clone looks like it’s finally starting to reveg. It’s starting to stretch it’s internodes but no new growth yet. Nearly all 9 are pushing roots now. What a waste of time taking clones in flower! Won’t ever do that again. Grapefruit #1 has a twin! I thought it was just an odd formation on the taproot but two seedlings are pushing out. I wonder if it will be genetically identical. It’s definitely slower growing than the other one so who knows. I will try to train them apart when the time comes. (Day 30) I think the EC/PPMs are too high on nearly every plant including my veggies. The promix is actually really hot for a “blank” medium coming in at 1800. Adding compost and amendments to that is probably raising it to 2500+ at least. It should self balance the more I water it but I know for a fact I can get better growth by leaching the soil around each plant. Next time I use promix for anything, I’m going to prewash it like coco coir and add a dash of oyster shell flour for pH and calcium. (Day 32) Purple tuna is now big enough to start lst on now. I’m going to wait a little while for the slurricanes. (Day 33) One of the grapefruits has a twin that actually popped... I’m going to leave it and see how she turns out (Day 35) I’m going to prune off the lower leaves on each plant. I was going to lst Purple tuna but it’s so vigorous I may as well just top/mainline it. Autoflowers are looking established and should be taking off this week. I wonder if this will give them enough time to veg into decent sized plants before they flower. I won’t be topping or even doing lst. My goal is 22 big spear colas from each plant. I’m going to get all my rooted clones into 1.7 gallon pots over the next week or so.
