Week 2 for our ztrawberriez from the fastbuds family All looks good and the buds are forming real quick, we continue for now with master root and master bloom, next week we start to add some more addictives Some plants had a little to much nutrients but we corrected the dosis and continue with a little less bloom nutrients! For the rest all good!!

Been a good week I have lowered nutes as on some of the plants the tips have gone a bright yellow type colour wasn’t sure wether this was because of my lights or nutes either way I have lowered nutes for the minute and will see how that goes , went with another trim during the week as some flowers have grown far beyond The others main aim was to free up light for the lower plants and aim for there bud sight it’s seemed to have worked so far as they have grew a little other than that everything else has been quite manageable 🤞🏾 Obviously missed a day which was watering day due to other responsibilities but hey it happens on the brighter side The jungle is still slowly coming along nicely happy growing 🤑

Day 54 and I think we're on track to harvest some time next week. I've decided not keep any of these as a mom, the back left one has some potential but non really seem like good hash plants. I'll jar test each to make sure but all have really greasy trichromes.

So, sad day friends. I got spider mites and had to throw all my plants out. This is what I think happened: About 2-3 weeks ago I noticed some freckling on the lower leaves. I looked at it and thought it might be a cal/mag issue so I added cal/mag that week and went about my business. I saw it about a week later and it wasn''t getting any better so I added more cal/mag. This continued for about 2-3 weeks until I finally took off a leaf and examined it under my microscope. I saw little bugs crawling everywhere and my stomach just dropped. My fiance did some quick research while I was panic ripping leaves off (see pictures) and she correctly diagnosed it as spider mites. I debated with myself and my close friend and ultimately I decided to throw all the plants in my tent away. I know that there are a lot of people who will say that there are things I could have done to make it to harvest but what it came down to is the people I take care of and personal pride. I consider myself a caregiver and I give away product for free that I am not going to use to my family and close friends. I thought to myself "Would you smoke this?" and when my answer was "ehhh, I don''t know", I thought about how it would feel giving it away and immediately made the decision to destroy them. I take an immense amount of pride in my product and this hobby and if I am not going to stand behind it I would rather just start over. I grow from my heart (shout out to the Grow From Your Heart Podcast!) to help people and make sure my family is not getting unsafe product from sketchy people. To spray pesticides in flower that may hurt people and have little bug carcasses in there just goes against that in every way and is just wrong in my opinion if you are giving it away to others. If you are the only one smoking it then it is one thing to take that risk but not with your patients. I want my medicine to help people, not create or exacerbate health issues. It is also important to note that the mites had moved from my flower tent into my veg space and took over my auto berry as well. Damn things are crafty and fast. So that is why I made the decision to destroy them all after 3 months of res changes, pruning, and manifolding on a slow vegging strain. Feel free to chime in with your opinion but I do not and will not regret my decision. I threw out my new clones, mother plant, and auto berry I had on my veg side as well. Shout out to all the other growers out there that do the right thing by their patients. Caregivers > Cash croppers. For anyone curious, I removed everything from my tent and scrubbed it all with a 20% bleach/water solution. All equipment has been wiped down and stored in the garage away from any organic materials. I will give them until tomorrow (2 days) to air out and dry and then I will wipe it down again with bleach and wait another 2 days. Hopefully that will make sure everything is dead and will not come back next grow. That next grow should start in about a week. It sucks but sometimes it happens and you gotta be ready for it. Lesson learned. Never bring outdoor plants into your indoor garden even if it is after just a day or two. A bunch of people on here and Reddit warned me and I did not listen. Now I have learned the hard way and it feels like when your parents "told you so" haha. Thanks to everyone who stopped by along the way. Stay tuned for a new grow coming soon. Flowering day 22 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Another great week that is over. They all develop exactly as it should be 💚. Since the last leaf and substrate application against tripse, I finally haven't seen any of the little biters 👍. Watering was done twice this week with 1.3 l each time (see table above for nutrients). The lowest shoots were removed so that the energy is not wasted in the lower part :-) . Otherwise, as always, everything was cleaned and checked. Fresh osmosis water was filled with stale tap water in a 100 L tank for the coming week 👍. 9-9 Biggest of the bunch! Ztrawberriez Recharge around 750ml Kosher rockin too though! 9-11 Day 17 Both big and tall, so I bent them!️ I happen to notice a slight, tiny hair on Ztrawberriez. So Ill mark her flower, in around 5-6 days. I'll hold top dress till then as well. 9-12 Big water! Brought eco witt from 20% to 45% after settled. Took around 2-2.5 liters. Definitely pistols! 9-14 Adjusted LST, prepare for water and top dress tomorrow. May add booster!? Great growth and end to the week! Both have pistils, z by 1 day! Both start flower tomorrow! These were quite an experience to grow. My second grow ever and they are great. I loved the way they flowered and how they responded to topping. They absolutely loved it. I would 10/10 grow again. Strong genetics and a very strong high.

Week 9 flower is coming to an end and the OG Kush still has about a week to go. I thought this seed was a dud, but I think it’s gonna be my best! The heads are mostly cloudy, no amber. Flowers seem hard and dense. Stripped most the large leaves that I could easily get at and just watering still letting the soil stay a bit on the dryer side, but consistent. Steadily lowering the humidity the best I can and manage, but it’s a bit difficult as I took down the humidifier to clean and get ready for harvest and got the dehumidifier going, but got another cold snap coming through and it’s dry outside and the house heat is running, don’t have a clean filter for the humidifier now, trying to get it right, right to the end, but Mother Nature is making my unnatural grow difficult lol. This strain is very heterozygous. 4 seeds were started. The 4 phenos were very different. I saved 2 of those phenos for my arsenal, which is quite exceptionnal. I ususally save just one pheno from a strain. The Pheno #1 was mainly sativa (75%). Long branches. Lots of fluffy buds. The more resistant to mold, but it has to be with the fluffiness. The taste was cheesy and spicy, which has nothing to see with the 3 other phenos. Not a single ressemblance with ak-47 parents as well. It shares the musky undertones of the strain, but nothing else. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. Terpene profile was deceiving, just as the cannabinoid content. The Pheno #2 has more indica in it (45% indica). robust and tall plant with dense heavy buds. No mold resistance at all. Biggest producer. The taste was earthy and musky with hints of wood. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. The Pheno #3 is my favorite one. It reminded me of the good old Ak-47, with her flowery/sweet/skunky smell and taste. Pure nostalgia! Tall and quite robust plant with huge fluffy buds coated with trichomes. She grows pretty similar to Lemon Skunk if you know the reference. Great producer of top quality buds. So sticky! In my top 3 sativa for 2 years. The aroma is very close to the old school Ak-47: sweet, flowery and skunky. It tastes like sweet lemon on the inhale, with a sharp touch of spicy lavender and earth on the exhale. IMO, that is the pheno we want to save from that heterozygous strain. Backcrossing this one would be a very good idea. The Pheno #4 is just as interesting as my favorite #3. The only issue with this one is about mold resistance. Crazy compact and heavy budst! One of the most productive I’ve ever seen too. More traits of the Ak-47 in the aromatic profile, but nothing like the #3. On the structure side, we can immediately recognize the sturdy and bushy structure of Ak-47. THC content is very high too. I suspect the CBD content to be high as well. The effect is a mood elevation, with good focus and a deep body relaxation; a bit similar to what White widow does. The aroma is earthy and pungent. Very skunky and musky. It tastes very sweet and earthy on the inhale, with hints of skunk on the exhale. That pheno #4 expresses the best traits of the Ak-47 in its structure, while pheno #3 kept the aromatic profile.

So far the best plants here without a doubt are the Grapefruits witch are covefed in frost, followed by the Kola Kushes than are not as frosty but are doing well, and finally the Ble Dreams wich are being absolutely disapointing, with hughe internodal spaces with only a few sad calyxes growing on them...

Week 4’s in the box and these plants are lightning quick outta veg. We’ve confirmed the presence of at least 3 males and 1 guaranteed female so far. They’ve all started to hit vegetative maturity in full stride so it won’t be long until we look to flip. A couple have been topped once more for the sake of additional colas and if we get lucky, the remaining females may be suitable for a scrog. Either way, can’t be much happier about how well they’re growing at this stage. Here’s hoping it remains so through flower🤞. ***Notes: strongest plant to this week is first confirmed female. Prob a prime candidate for cuts and back pollination with the F1 pollen dump.***

10/24/2022: plants are all healthy. Strawberry Gushers is definitely starting to flower and the Newberry is showing signs of preflower. My little guy Orange Bubblegum is still growing slowly and no signs of flower yet. The Orange Bubblegum still looks healthy, she just grows really slow. Not showing signs of any deficiencies, or over or under watering, so I think it may just be the plant. Since the other two plants are starting to flower, I top dressed with 1/3 cup Gnarly barley, 1/3 cup Craft Blend from BuildASoil, along with about 2 cups(didn't really measure, just scooped a few handfulls) of BuildAFlower. Also added a handful of bokashi on top of that. I then lightly watered the two top dressed plants, since they both received a full watering yesterday. Still doing some light LST and minor defoliation. 10/26/2022: made avtea today using TeaCo Super tea blend. Gave about 1.75 liters to the Strawberry Gushers and Newberry, since they are both starting their stretch. Gave about 1 liter to the Orange Bubblegum, since it is still the smallest. It seems to be about a week behind the other 2 plants even though they were all germinated and planted on the same days. Also raised the lite slightly, since the bigger plants were getting a little more ppfd than I wanted, but i also inceased the intensity of the light to about 80%. Been increasing by a few percent a day and plan to max it at 100% once the final plant starts to flower. The average ppfd is about 600, which is a DLI of about 40. 10/28/2022: watered about 1.5 liters per plant. This time I added Rootwise Bio-Phos, now that 2 out of the 3 plants are in flower. Also, top dressed the Orange Bubblegum. I snapped a branch on the Newberry when trying to super crop a few of the taller branches. Also noticed the Newberry was looking a little droopy today. Not sure if it was a water issue or if I turned up the light too much. I'll monitor to see how it looks later, now that I watered and raised the light a few more inches. Wanted to have a scrog net in by now, but I'm waiting for some 4 way PVC connectors so I can finish building a frame. Always just tied to the tent poles previous grows, but I wanted to try something new. 10/30/2022: watered 2 liters for the Strawberry Gushers and Newberry and 1.5 liters for the Orange Bubblegum. Added BuildASoil Coconut Powder, along with the Rootwise Bio-Phos and ThermX-70. Installed the scrog net as well. It's a little high right now, but I'm hoping the plants will grow into it. I can cut the PVC pipes shorter if I need to. Avg. VPD:1.1 PPFD: 600 DLI: 40
