First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 10 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. La semaine 5 s'est plutôt bien déroulée, même si les autres plants ont connu un léger excès d'azote. Heureusement, mes plantes n'en ont pas souffert. J'ai pris la décision de les nourrir exclusivement avec des éléments favorables à la floraison. En parallèle, je commence à défolier délicatement une à deux feuilles par jour. Elles ont arrêté de s'étirer et elles commencent à se concentrer sur les bourgeons. Un grand merci à Louloutre qui m'apporte son précieux soutien !

Moin, Pflanzen sind grade gut im Stretch und auch die unterschiedlichen Höhen lassen sich leider nicht vermeiden… Während #1 und #3 ziemlich auch gleicher Höhe sind, kommt #2 nicht so gut hinterher. Generell scheint sie von der Entwicklung auch weniger ausgeprägt zu sein - naja so ist es nunmal. Hab #2 dann noch auf eine kleine Erhöhung gestellt, damit sie immerhin etwas mithält… Ansonsten siehts ganz gut aus, die Pflanzen brauchen jetzt deutlich mehr Wasser - könnte jeden Tag mit 2L gießen. So at the end of week 2 we let them dry all the way out and flushed with a 1.0 EC solution. This week we begin feeding heavy. There are tops freakin everywhere! Out of the 8 plants there is only one that didn’t stretch about 15 inches. This is the first time running Ethos Genetics and I’m glad I did. 6 weeks left.

Le 41e jour se déroule paisiblement pour mes précieuses plantes. Je remarque un léger jaunissement des feuilles, probablement dû au début de la floraison, à un éventuel manque d'azote ou à des processus naturels que je découvre au fil du temps. De plus, des tâches apparaissent sur les feuilles, peut-être en raison d'un déficit en calcium, malgré la dureté élevée de l'eau dans ma région. Je procède également avec prudence en augmentant progressivement le phosphore et le potassium, dans l'espoir de ne pas répéter les erreurs du passé liées à des excès. Chaque jour, je progresse et je m'enrichis d'expérience. Blue Dream Xtreme is still the biggest in the run. Growing well. I did some root pruning early week. Cut off the long root tails. I should of done that in beginning, and aimed for a furry root basket. Learning new stuff all the time. Pretty good week, no problems. Added a dehumidifier yesterday (Saturday). And also bought a new light. The light should arrive on Tuesday. Looking forward to that because then I’ll be able to spread them out further so they’ll all have as much room to grow as they need. I believe they’ve started flowering, that happened like day 24 when I first noticed the white hairs coming out of the bud sites. They really took off growing mid way through the week. Like twice the growth as the prior week. I haven’t been defoliating per se, I have been tucking & tying leaves down. Many of the secondary flowering nodes have actually surpassed the main cola’s of my plants height wise. Those that did I tied slightly back down. Really wish I could cut a few branches off them without stressing them out. Oh well. Such is the bane of autoflower growing. The new light I bought is a Colofrog 2021 CF 2400 LED w/Samsung LM301H Osram Diodes. From what I gathered online, it’s a better light than the Mars hydro tsw 2000 I currently own. I’ve got my ts 1000 in the tent currently just to get through until the new light comes Tuesday.

Day 84:Another week passes and these girls are still full of white pistils. The Los girl is now totally void of Nitrogen in her pot I think and it explains the yellowing from early on. I think I may have washed the life and nutes out with an overwatering and not had chance or time to replenish them fully. Their pot will be redone when she is out to re introduce all the life. The bids on her have definitely paid the price of no supply of abundant feeds and without doubt smaller than they could have been. She is so productive that it's a shame to reach the end this way. # 2 is leading the way for her to watch how its done.She is pushing nice shaggy fat colas that are starting to orange up a little now so should it be much longer before she reaches her perfect pint to harvest. #3 Has pushed herself to the top slot for size and development. The colas are so hard i can't squash them at all. They let me know they are there with bursts of pineapple smells as I move them around. I don't doubt that she will be another week before her end but that gives her more time to swell !. For growth , this strain is amazing and a definite grow for the future. until next week Growmies. have fun

The plants are done stretching. They did stretch a lot and grew very quick. As soon as I open my tent, my whole room is smelling. And I can tell you it just smells 🔥🔥🔥🌴🍪⛽️🌲. The small pheno that is producing purple buds smells like I expected the Tropicana Cookies, 🍊🌴⛽️🌲. The other 2 smell more 🍦⛽️🌲 and not fruity at all at the moment. In overall my plants are very healthy and they seem to feel very comfortable in my tent✌️

It’s the 1st week of flower I flipped the plants to 12/12 a few days ago. There is a lot going on and a lot of cool and amazing things coming in the near future. I don’t see it being very long until winter is here and it’s time to use a heater and not an ac unit. All of the plants are healthy. The plants have all grown so well I turned down the light intensity a bit today the plants didn’t seem like they was starting to strech very much. Hopefully the lower light intensity will make them strech out just a bit

This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun.
