Nov 20, 2019 The plants are doing well. Gave them and the soil in the entire 5 gallon pots a good drenching with a compost tea, kelp, alfalfa, fish hydrysolate, and molasses blend. I'm also realizing I could be watering these girls a bit more. Being a newby I'm over cautious of over watering. But I'm finding the light airy soil mix I made combined with fabric pots.... the soil dries rather quickly. No signs of under watering, but I think I can water them more. This week I'll start watering a couple of cups daily and once a week give the whole pot a good drenching to keep the rest of the soil (where the plants haven't grown into yet) damp.✌️ Nov. 22, 2019 Well I think the girls are starting to give off a little scent. Opened the doors to the room and noticed a slight aroma of woodsy dank. Put my nose right up to the plant.... and yup, they starting to smell. Nov. 23, 2019 Noticed the front row was growing faster and taller than back row. At the start of this week I swapped the rows, moved 2 Zkittlez and 1 Californian Snow to the back row, 2 Californian Snow and 1 Zkittlez to the front row. Today I started LST'ing the taller plants, 2 Californian Snow and 1 Zkittkez. I hope the other 3 catch up soon. I want to keep these all close together. Nov. 24, 2019 I've decided to keep separate diaries here at growdiaries for each of these two strains. Reason is I can focus on journaling the growing characteristics, experiences both good and bad regarding each strain independently. Also after spending time here at growdiaries, I've realized this will make it easier for fellow growers growing or researching the same strains I am to sort through diaries regarding these specific strains when looking for information. Started to LST the 3 tallest plants... earlier I posted the front row was growing faster than the back row. That was Saturday Nov. 23. I LST'd the other 3 the next day. I'll have more details in the individual diaries... links posted above. Started watering today 6 cups/ pot. This seems about right as I'm getting very little run off and the bottoms of all the fabric pots are wet. I found this Hydrofarm soil moisture/ph meter in a box that was with all this equipment I acquired. The electrodes were corroded, after a little sandpaper on them I think it's working pretty well. That's it for this week. ✌️👌

Hi Growmes I'm happy with both my girls again about two weeks out should be week 13 of flower it's not 16 but again I'm not going to change it because not the easiest app to use but hopefully I will get better the more diaries I do🤞🤞 I've got the 9th of February as D-day for me I have ordered a jewelers loop so when it arrives I will be keeping my eye so I don't harvest too early or too late from what I've been reading I want about 70% amber tricones for the high I'm looking for every time I open the tent door my mouth starts watering😂🙏👍

This week has been great. I'm constantly refreshing the CO2 bucket. I'm very happy with the PPM,PPFD and heat levels. Plants are bulking buds these weeks and we will soon start to see some big and parts. Canopy is filled with buds now and I'm expecting slightly more or less than 1.5grams per Watt with this light fixture. This is a lifetime grow light and definitely recommended. This grow is a tight one with good ventilation. I'm not cranking my output fan all the way because I want to keep most of the CO2 and heat inside the grow tent. I'm blasting my fan directly to canopy and therefore I create a great air circulation. CO2 is directly blown onto plants thanks to the powerful fan and there is no chance of mold here since the humidity is also reasonable. Smell is fantastic and I'm not using a carbon filter to enjoy it. Grow room smells like standing near a waffle or cotton candy machine. Plants have amazing amount of frost already and I'm expecting much more. I keep them cold when the lights are off to enhance trichome production. This will be an amazing harvest for sure. Day 29. Heavy work in progress, update will follow... Day 30. Job done, most lost almost all big fan leaves, all 3 Kushes where toped. In plans one more heavy training session in a week time, few days to recover and hopefully flower !!! Skunks overgrew Cheeses and start to smell, really to STINK ;)) And i love it !!! Next watering - full feed. Day 31. All Kushes have mini mag deficiency, but i get it with my lights often and know how to fight in early stages. All girls will get 3 feeds in a row. 1. CalMag only 2. Silica acid only 3. Full range of Biobizz feed. After installing new air fans, have to water girls almost every day. Try to feed them only once a week, but pot space taken in full by most of the girls and its time for first mini boost. Day 34. Girls got really heavy defoliation, HST , toping and LST session. First time in my life i trim toped plants so much, but they where reaching sky and stems too fragile for supercroping yet, i do it on branches, but not on mains. So i guess they will slow down a bit ;))) All girls got silica acid after. Happy Growing !

Super easy week, just watering the ladies when they need it. Still concerned about the humidity so I’m going to start using my dehumidifier outside of the tent. I’ll monitor the humidity each day and set my humidifier on a schedule based upon the data collected. Soon I’ll be adding in another layer of netting to help support the branches and space them out more for better airflow and a more “sea of green” look. I usually vegetate for longer but I wanted to see if I could shorten my grow times and produce about the same results. Time will tell!

I look at the beginning of the period a little different than most. This transition can take up to 2 weeks before pistil formations can be seen - a true sign of flowering, and during this time it has the potential to gain substantial mass. So I continue to consider it in a vegetative state until flowers start forming.
