Start of week 2 flowering. This girl is hungrier than her round 1 sister. Probably because of the extra veg time, she has developed more root and plant mass that needs more nutrients. The plant itself is growing nicely, stretching a little and filling out.

Greetings, fellow cultivators! Today, I'm thrilled to share the grand finale of our journey with the remarkable Big Cheese Auto from Seeds Mafia. At day 81 from seed, she reached the pinnacle of her splendor, and the harvest was nothing short of spectacular. As I gently snipped each ripe bud, I couldn't help but marvel at the beauty and resilience of our Big Cheese Auto. From the moment she emerged as a seedling, she embodied strength, vigor, and an unwavering determination to flourish. Now, as she hangs upside down to dry for the next two weeks, I'm filled with a profound sense of gratitude for the privilege of witnessing her growth. Our journey with the Big Cheese Auto has been nothing short of extraordinary. From the excitement of germination to the meticulous care during vegetative growth, from the anticipation of flowering to the aromatic crescendo of the harvest, each phase has been a testament to the plant's resilience and the joy of cultivation. The journey began with a tiny seed, a promise of potential waiting to be fulfilled. With the nurturing support of the Autopot system and the guidance of Aptus Holland's nutrients, our Big Cheese Auto thrived, transforming into a botanical marvel with each passing week. From the emergence of her first true leaves to the explosion of trichome-rich buds, she captivated us at every turn. A heartfelt thank you to Seeds Mafia for providing the genetics that sparked this incredible journey. Your seeds have not only produced exceptional plants but have also inspired a community of passionate cultivators. Your dedication to quality and innovation is truly commendable, and I am grateful for the opportunity to cultivate such remarkable genetics. Before the trimming and curing process begins, I took the time to capture the beauty of our Big Cheese Auto in a special photo shoot. Each snapshot is a testament to her magnificence, a visual ode to the journey we've shared together. To the entire community, both near and far, thank you for accompanying me on this horticultural odyssey. Your support, encouragement, and shared passion for cultivation have made this journey all the more rewarding. Let's continue to cultivate greatness together! Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey! Wishing you all abundant harvests and joyful cultivation endeavors ahead! Welcome to final week for this very fun grow 😊 We are 4 weeks later and I'm happy to say the buds have improved very well. They all look fantastic and very frosty. I did a 10 day dry in a growing tent with a fan on and a much needed carbon filter 😂 The buds went in the curing jar a bit moisty but very close to perfect. I opened the jars 3 or 4 times daily the first week and it was okay. After that some moisture fighters and I cut the last sugarleaves to perfection. After 3 weeks they are cured fantastic. I have around 80 grams from 2 plants but one gave 75g and the other 5g 😂 Jack 1 was a very small plant and her sister Jack 2 is the biggest girl I ever grew with 1m 10. The taste is spicy and herbal and the smoke is very smooth. Leaves a nice aftertaste on the tongue. A spicy hint, bit woody and skunky too Effects are great. More focus and motivation an very uplifting. Puts a big smile on your face... but if I smoke a big one or 2 I'm also very relaxed and pretty hungry. This strain is made for chilling out, gaming, watch movies/Shows whitout a too hard couchlock. I never was about to fall asleep or too stoned. Think its also perfect for when u smoke on a festival. I'm happy with the outcome. It's my best grow so far and for my first autoflowers I'm convinced on this kind of plants. Will defenitly grow this one again . The Northern Lights suffered from budrot and was thrown away. Not gonna review it and give bad ratings. Was my fault and I already have a new free seed from RQS when I ordered something. It was an NL 😁 that's a sign for a revenge round haha Thanks a lot for following See u next year for my next outdoor grow. I'm already having some nice ideas for that 😉 Happy growing friends.

DAY 56 flowering: Hi all and welcome to any new visitors too. We are at the near end point now with this 1st run of the viparspectra xs1500. It has been a very pleasant experience and also a humbling one too. I never expected the performance it has proven and initially thought I would struggle to find a practical way of incorporating it into my set up and to see what it had got to offer. Deciding to go the route I have was more driven by the lights abilities to perform wat better than I anticipated. The 5 seedlings soon became 5 big ladies that would have been impossible to squeeze under the 2x2 flowering coverage They did however, get an amazing start right up to flowering beginning before I had to choose who stayed under the xs1500. The 2 that I mainly diary for the lights ability are the focus of the journal but I have to include a little on the other strains due to their initial support from the light and to also include the Gorilla cookies as they are amazing plants. They are both so close to ready now and sadly one of the mains has been hit with an little bud rot from its density. The buds smell so candy sweet now too. I will be keeping a very vigilant eye on these now. Grandaddys mimosa had continued her swelling from using the #Shogun Dragon force and is a perfect example of how the product works in the final 2 weeks of flowering , when usually they are fading out to finish. The buds have doubled in girth with an absolutely solid feel to them too . The light has helped create some very hard buds. No signs of whisky popcorn at all and each stack is a solid spike of flowering plant. For such a squat girl, she is so impressive. She smells so fruity with a hint of citrus to her and she is engulfing all the leaves that had been poking out previously. I think she will be a surprise yield next week !. The Northern lights girls are both doing really well too with the #2 mutant starting to ripen up finally now. She is still way taller than her sister but has sone long node gaps. #1 is totally different, she is a spiked monster compared and her colas are taking on a nice pale orange colour as they ripen. I do think she will go another week before being ready to consider harvest. She is still so fresh looking in a lot of places that I dont want to rush her at all. The light has managed to penetrate deep enough into the plant to create long spiked colas with no issues down low in the canopy with whispy popcorn to mention either. This is a very positive point to mention as some l.e.d do not get the penetration needed to do more than create a top canopy with poor light reaching deeper and not supplying the par they need. This light does not have that issue by a long shot. It penetrates like "Dirk diggler" and reaches all those important ladies parts !!!.... I am most impressed by the mimosa so far and as a 1st gen cross auto of a mimosa lemon Male sacks and a random multi strain seeding from its pollen release , I have ended up with a good amount of crossed autos from trusted and stable strains. It can be fun growing these out and so far this is the 3rd from the batch that I have successfully run. Aside from the benefits of the end products we get , the journey we go on can be an amazing and eye openening experience. If you start to investigate how these plants really live , love and die and how they use the network of available systems to communicate and build our much loved bud factories , you will find it hard to climb out of that rabbit hole . Finding out that fungi is not the man everyone wants to party with but IS a complex communication system used in nature to meet the needs of the whole forest/fauna in unison is life changing !!!!!. Be well growmies. See you on the next update... UPDATE UPDATE###UPDATE####UPDATE The Gorilla cookies have reached their end !!. At day 57, they are now going into a 48hr dark period before harvesting . I did have a couple of bud rot issues in one or two buds due to the density of their growth. I am hoping to keepnot at bay during the low and slow dry after trimming wet this time. I will update their yield ect once they finish. Pics dont do them justice and they smell so sweet. Thanks fast buds.

So I had a little less nutrient last week then i needed. Def a calcium deficiency. I think it's clearing up but this plant has spot all over it. I changed the water, gave it the right amount of nutrients and a little exra hydrated lime for calcium. Hydro is hard. I hoping It's not sick. I hope It doesn't get the other plants sick. Just a few weeks left.

3/11 🍓🍑 They were a little dry this morning, so I gave them a gallon of water split between the four of them using the light schedule feed🎄 3/12 Z🍓🍓🦍 strawberry and strawberry gorilla are starting to get very tall. They’re becoming huge. I’m gonna keep them at 91 W maximum that might even be a little high. It’s nice to know. They don’t take as much light as I thought along time ago. They really look good. this is the first time I’ve used 2 gallon pots so I have to remember to water more often and spray the bag with neem oil. I can’t tell if it’s runoff salts or if it is some sort of white fungus that’s not good on the outside of the bag, either way, if I spray everything with neem oil before I water including the soil, NO the plants just the soil and the bag makes a huge difference.🎄👍 3/13🍓🦍🍑💦 💦plus silica after about 12 hours, they are looking really good. They’re actually dry again. I’m gonna do watering tomorrow. The CBD plant is going completely different than any other one. It’s really exciting. It looks great but very different from any of the other ones probably because I dropped it when I did the transplant either way luckily she’s doing great.👍 3/14 🍓🍑👍 3/15 🍑🍓🦍💦💦💦 I ended up doing two full gallons of water. I was surprised how much I had to water them with today did full nutrients and supplements.💧💧💧 3/16🍓🦍🍑 strawberry gorilla and the strawberries are growing exactly like they said they were on their website. They’re looking just great apricot and the CBD are also doing great. I’m not gonna do too much training. I feel better if I leave them alone.👍🍓🦍🍑 3/17 Z🍓 🍓🦍🍑💦💦 1 gallon with 1 mL silica 1 mL Cal mag💦💦

📆 Week 15, 30 April - 6 May 2024 30 April - Turned light power to 75%. 1 May - Did a significant defoliation. 2-6 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 I was debating on keeping the lights at 100%, or defoliating the plant. Defoliating won this time. There just wasnt enough light penetration getting to the lower buds (half the plant) to mature them for maximum growth and quality yield. So leaving the lights that bright did not achieve my expectations. It is a tricky situation when you start taking leaves away from a plant in flower, but when shadows are blocking bud developement you have to balance your grow and open it up. My method is to start with the lowest leaves and work your way up, use common sense, discard yellowing and damaged ones first, leaving the healthy green leaf on the plant. Then strategically remove the few that shadow the buds you want more focus on. This will help ensure the plant continues processing energy while avoiding possible shock by removing too much leaf. 🍶 30 April changed nutrient solution 🍽️ 30 April updated feeding schedule 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient Solution EC 2.2 at 72 degree F 🔆 Light power at 75%, DLI 45-50 canopy coverage at 12hrs 😤 Using General Hydroponics, HGC728040, Dual Diaphragm Air Pump, 320 GPH That is it for this week. Thanks for the look, read and stopping by.
