This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. The leaf chewing has mostly subsided now since I have been spraying Neem Oil on her every 2-3 days. She's also beginning to increase in height about an inch per day now and has great color and vigor. 6/2- Yesterday I top dressed the Papaya Sherbet with 2 cups of Gaia Green 4-4-4, 1 cup of Down to Earth Bio Fish along with 1/2 gallon of worm castings. After top dressing and working the amendments into the soil by hand, I watered it in via garden hose with straight well water. 6/4- It rained hard yesterday, so I skipped watering the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo today as the ground was still pretty wet. 6/6- The last two days have been sunny and warm so I watered the Papaya Sherbet photo with straight well water from the garden hose today. Another week gone by for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and I'm looking forward to next week, as well as the weeks that will follow to see how this lady progresses! I decided to spend the weekend looking for a good Co2 generator setup. It was quite easy to get it running. All you need is two containers, tubing, yeast, sugar, and warm water. Now I'm just waiting to see how long it will last before I have to refill it. Here is a YouTube link with directions; https://youtu.be/Gxb_G3JAhso The plant on the left started to get too wide so I wrapped a bit of string around the two stems and brought them towards the inside of the plant. Then I tied it off on the hooks loosely so I can still adjust it. Just for good measure I raised the light a few more inches to keep it about a foot distance.

The next day, I watered with plain tapwater and runoff EC was the same as our tapwater. That Wednesday, was the last day I gave them water. On Friday, they had their 12 hours of light for the last time. I forgot to make a family picture just before harvest, but I did make a movie during those last hours of light. After 36 hours of darkness, I harvested on sunday. The coco had dried up quite a bit. The pots felt light to the touch, but when I removed Jannine from the tent (the one that was always in the middle), she immediately collapsed under the weight of her own buds! The same happened to Kim, only Iris was able to holdup most buds, but with a lot of effort. Apparently they had support from each other and the walls of the tent all that time. The buds were promising: heavy, hard and dense. Can't wait to see how they work out after drying and curing. Even the buds lower on the plants were not nearly as fluffy as my first grow, but more like little marbles. My first grow, I trimmed everything wet, but this time, I only removed the fan leaves and some of the bigger sugar leaves. Also, I kept the branches bigger this time. I threw a lot of the little buds in the trim pile, but since they were still looking and feeling like some good buds (but just small) I decided after harvesting the first plant, to throw them in separate containers. So I now have the trim from all the plants, mixed with some of the smaller buds from Jannine and two separate containers with the smaller buds from both Iris and Kim. It went into the freezer fresh, directly after harvest. Since I am lazy, I ordered a bubble washer, which will be delivered somewhere this week, to ease up the hash making proces. Can't wait to try some of the hash from these girls! As for most of the buds, they are drying in the tent. The circumstances could be a lot better: for weeks during flower, RH in our house was at 60%, but in the 24 hours directly after harvest, it came down to 40%. The weather changed from very humid to very dry and it will be like this until the end of the week. Considering it's about 23 degrees C in the drying room (maybe 22 during night) and the fact it will become increasingly warmer the next few days, I am worried about the buds drying to fast (by far my biggest concern), but also loosing some potency. It is now 24 hours after harvest and the buds are still pretty wet, so at least 3 days of drying should be possible, maybe 4. A few days slower would be better, but probably unlikely. Anyway, this ends my second grow. Off course, I will be back with the final results in a few weeks, after drying, curing, making hash of the trim/popcorn buds and off course, testing it all. Girls doing well but have run into some calcium deficiency which will hopefully be fixed soon.

Week 2 and these ladies are growing like weeds These beauties just blow up over the last week.. Today we topped and defoliate the plants. Time will tell how long we will veg for .. I'll flip the switch when I'm happy with the canopy. I kept the autopot system off and only water manually. I did turn on the air pump to the airdome after the 1st week.. Today I will turn on the system . I mixed a resivor with 38L of water. Like I mentioned earlier it's my 1st time running the autopots so I dont know how much water and nutrients I will go through, but I will keep notes and be sure to post them as the week go on ...

2/10: I watered today with about 3/4 gallon each, plus cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, a little open sesame, and their final dose of endoboost. The short one never did stop making the hook leaves on all her new growth, but she seems happy..budding faster than anybody else.. 2/11: Wife home sick today....postponing construction project to raise the lights. 2/12: Today, I tackled the project to raise my ceiling another foot. In addition to that project, I installed and hooked up my new AC Infinity 6" intake fan. It's pulling in fresh air from the soffit vent on the eave of the attic, and currently feeding the garden with 46f fresh air. I'm able to easily maintain daytime temps in the lower 70f's now. I am able to drive the nighttime temps as low as I want. The only issue is that the outdoor RH varies quite a bit, so I ordered a 30-pint dehumidifier to put in the top of the closet. I sprayed everybody with boomboom spray to try and mitigate the light burn damage that is likely to ensue. 2/13: The taller one is still stretching a little bit, but the 2-footer is just budding up. 2/14: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, cal-mag, signal, bembe, humic acid, and I switched over from Open Sesame to Beastie Bloomz. Raised the lights another couple of inches. I did some training on them and defo'd a little bit. 2/15: Installed the new dehumidifier and rigged the continuous drain on it...works great. 2/16: I rotated the edge plants and removed some old leaves. I added another 22w 3000k 4' bar light under the canopy. 2/17: I rearranged the garden and defoliated a little bit. That's it for week 8-

Great colour coming into the buds and decent thiccc factor coming it. Very similar in smell profile/build structure to the Purple Lemonade Auto from @Fast_Buds. Not as fat overall in terms of buds yet but the base is there for a very strong finish in the final weeks. Gave all the plants mostly water feeds this week in order to avoid salt build up. Some staining on the bottom of the fabric pots from the bottom feeds so just making sure the soil is fine for the final major nute feeds before flushing in a week or so. Has a lot of bud sites on the main cola adding to the chonk but will need to give the sugar leaves a pre trim before the final bulk to avoid bud rot/mold. Seems very dense in there. Other than that, the new @MarsHydroLED TSL 2000 and @ViparSpectraLED PS1500 for veg definitely made a huge difference and the buds on the Dark Devil. Update Sunday... hey guys uploaded a security cam footage of the blizt storm in the GTA.... ladies survived somehow... also did top dressing at 30tbs per 15 gal of 444 and 284 gaia green organic amendments. 70/30 ratio. Watered them in with dechlorniated, pH 6.2 and 60mL of molassas to 5 gals of water. Defoilated and did some maint pruning on growth under the main canopy. God bless. Hey folks, Well I got good new and some bad news. Last weekend, these ladies got thrashed by a thunderstorm.. break some branches along the way. Had enough time to splint the bent stems and they bounced back. Note that due to the storm, the pots got watered down pretty heavy... but to my surprise I let the ride out from Monday to Friday... and regretted that. I should of watered the ladies on Wednesday or Thursday, but found out the pots where extremely dry (also probable that the fabric pots are drying the medium out allot faster). The plants started to droop Friday afternoon. Also did a little lst but didn't want to over stress the plant that still recovering from the major storm. Iv watered each pot about 8L of molasas water @ 5mL/L and see how the soil and plant respond. Im going to check on them more frequently and prevent under-watering.
