Marijuana cultivation, like any agricultural endeavor, involves various techniques to optimize growth, yield, and potency of the plant. This is the week to make it happen! One such advanced technique is High-Stress Training (HST). HST is employed to control the growth pattern of the marijuana plant, making it more bushy rather than tall. This is beneficial for indoor growers with limited vertical space. Moreover, HST exposes more of the plant's foliage to light, which can lead to enhanced photosynthesis. This results in a plant that can produce more buds, which are denser and more potent. Given that light is a primary energy source for plants, maximizing light exposure can drastically improve the overall quality and quantity of the harvest. Topping is a specific form of HST that involves cutting off the main stem's topmost growth. This method forces the plant to divert its energy and nutrients to the lower branches, promoting the development of multiple main colas instead of a single dominant one. By encouraging a more even canopy, topping ensures that light is distributed more uniformly across the plant. This reduces the chances of having underdeveloped buds at the lower sections of the plant due to light deprivation. Topping also curtails the plant's height, making it more manageable, especially for indoor growers with limited space. HST and topping are integral for modern marijuana growers seeking to enhance their yields. These techniques address the spatial constraints faced by many growers and ensure that the marijuana plant receives optimal light exposure. The end goal of these methodologies is to increase yield and potency, and when done correctly, they can transform a mediocre harvest into a bountiful one. Cultivators who invest time in understanding and implementing these techniques stand to benefit significantly from their marijuana crops.

Start of week 8,flowering, looking for amber trickomes, took off a branch at day 52, trickomes, were mostly milky some clear. I want to know the sweet spot for this girl if you know what I mean. I will post other pics of early cut latter. Also I switched to blue spectrum light only, supposedly it gets more UV light and packs on more resin(higher T H C ) ,Not that it needs more, but in the name of science I am willing to put in the extra effort. 🔎😎

The culmination of reversing our Matterhorn cut off Mr. Crowley to Intergalactic Runtz, and the results were out of this world (I had to do it). These ladies were slow to start, but once they hit their stride, they put any worries we had to rest. Compact, short-framed, and robust. They pack beautifully boulder-like flowers that reek of garlic and sickly sweet cotton candy. Dark green to a mosaic of purples, yellows, and silvers. Frost production is off the charts, the internode spacing is tight, and they certainly will impress in their last few weeks of flower. This is one of our favorite crosses in the new fem lineup. June 15: looks really good and will do second round of topping tomorrow. The last 30 days have been cooler than the historic average, and last year was way above average. So, she’s doing great despite cool weather. June 16: adjusted tie downs and watered with soluble seaweed extract. June 17: second round of topping to make 8 colas done this morning. Will do another round in a week or two to get the final 16 cola layout I want. June 20: released tie downs this morning. Looks really good on the last day of spring. Solstice and the photoperiods are right on schedule, unlike my two autos. Made second compost tea as shown in video. Key things are blackstrap molasses (sugar and trace metals), good compost, and I use coco coir for something for the bacteria to physically live on (substrate or matrix). #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

Greetings, fellow cultivators! Week 9 with our illustrious Big Cheese Auto is like witnessing a botanical sprint to the finish line, and the excitement is hitting a fever pitch. A massive shoutout to Seeds Mafia for the genetics that keep our green queen in perpetual amazement. Our green sprinter is charging through her ninth week of flowering, and oh my, the acceleration is breathtaking! She's growing at an astonishing speed, embracing her full potential. The Autopot system remains the orchestrator, providing her with a nutrient symphony that propels her towards the grand finale. It's like the final act of a botanical masterpiece. In response to the swift growth, a tactical adjustment is in play. I've cut back on nitrogen (P-Boost) and increased potassium (K-Boost). Picture it like fine-tuning a racing car for the last lap. Nitrogen, essential for vegetative growth, takes a backseat as potassium takes the wheel. Why? Because potassium is a key player in the flowering game, boosting bud development, enhancing taste, and improving overall quality. It's like switching gears for a turbocharged bloom. The trichomes are stealing the show! Their numbers are skyrocketing, covering every inch of our Big Cheese Auto like a blanket of shimmering diamonds. It's like a botanical galaxy forming right before our eyes. The visual spectacle is not just mesmerizing; it's a testament to the plant's potency and readiness for harvest. Ah, the unmistakable scent of cheese is now an aromatic symphony that fills the air. Each day, it becomes more robust, like a crescendo building up to the grand finale. The olfactory journey is now at its peak, promising a flavor profile that will linger in the memory. Our TDS remains robust at 390, and the pH orchestrates a harmonious melody at 6.0. The Autopot and the nutrient adjustments are now conducting a final symphony, ensuring every element harmonizes for the best possible finish. The final grooming session is in progress. The leaf-bending ballet continues, creating an even canopy that bathes in the natural light. Defoliation is like the last-minute touch-ups before the grand performance. It's like preparing for the curtain call of this extraordinary botanical journey. A colossal thank you to Seeds Mafia, Aptus Holland, Grow Diaries, and the phenomenal community. Your support has been the guiding melody of this green odyssey. As we approach the climax of Week 9, the excitement is tangible. Our Big Cheese Auto is not just growing; she's hurtling towards a botanical crescendo. I can't wait to witness the final act of this sprint to greatness. Tag 1 der 9. Woche der Blüte. Ich stehe kurz vor der Ernte, die Budds sind saftig und Puderig, starker Geruch und gutes Terpenen Profil. Werde wahrscheinlich in 3 Tagen ernten. 2. Tage vor der Ernte lasse ich die im Dunkeln stehen, gieße ab jetzt nicht mehr fürs dehydrieren und bringe die Luftfeuchtigkeit auf 35% runter für das Ende.

Fattening up those buds. All plants grew to a decent size. Only the GSC is a bit of a dwarf, with low height and very tiny baby leaves. Actually it came handy since I've miss calculated the space I needed for the fan, so now it sits just below it.

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. I plan on using a quadline for them all to keep a control for the comparisons too. Be green folks Welcome aboard and a huge thank you to Fast Buds for the opportunity to try autos.

This week was the best week so far. My ladies doubled in size. They are now in full flowering and all my lol lovely ladies are doing Great we have switched to flowering nutrients and cranked up the lights. The new 4000 LED light is a monster as well .I can't wait to see how these autos do. So surprised at the results I'm getting from these lovely ladies. Still astonish to see autos at 3 ft tall. I will recommend a quality seed. Makes the grow so much easier. Each week is like watching a baby grow into an adult. Stay tuned. As always, I have a couple tricks up my sleeve to go ahead and fatten up the buds and really packing on the turps. Happy budding and as always, stay high
