Hey all! Finally! This is the last week of veg! :D I know Matcha still has a lot of things going on but I believe I've waited more than enough for this (10 weeks is a lot considering one of the plants is still small and the other one isn't as big as it should be). Both are also starting to drink more water compared to before! Pistachio is now getting thirstier a lot faster now! I defoliated both plants and I'll do it again in about 3 more weeks to allow the lower budsites receive more light. I believe I could've trimmed a bit more heavily but I believe what I did was enough, they have been going thru some issues and I don't want to risk it all. I also removed all the small growtips in my plants, the ones that are just going to never develop very well because they are way too low and no light will reach them well. Day 42 - Ladies are growing great, some are growing a little faster than others but all in all very happy with this run so far! Thanks for following & happy growing friends!✌️🏼🌱 Day 43 - All of these ladies expect for 1 white widow & 1 orange sherbet keep having problems, yellowing leaves, rust spots, not sure if it’s me or what the issue is considering 2 of them are doing great😬😬 Day 44 - Watered the ladies today, going to give them some calmag next watering when my new PH meter gets here! Day 47 - Buds are starting to get much bigger on a few of the ladies & a lot more frosty!😍

All three plants are hermaphrodites, however, plants 1 and 2 are showing minimal signs of male with seeds developing only on lower nodes, while plant 3 looks mostly male with a few pistils only on the very top nodes. I've decided to pluck the seeds from plants 1 & 2 as they develop, and to toss plant 3 to make room for the other 2. It's not ideal and I plan to buy feminized seeds or clones for my next grow, but the bud I got the seeds from was actually really good so I'm going to try to take 1 and 2 to harvest.

Well I let them go on for another week in the end and I don’t know whether I’m just used to the smell but I definitely have noticed a decline in the loudness of these girls. I’m not ‘flushing’ as much as just giving them water and terpinator for the last couple of weeks to help them fade and finish off. More amber trichomes than I usually have, so these are perfectly ripe I’d say. The additional lights I added to the bottom of the plants definitely worked in maturing the buds but they also made them foxtail and push out pistils and seemed a bit forced. Also needed to account for the extra heat that 3 x small LED strips (approx 25w) so I decided as I wound down the main light to 10.5/13.5 I would turn those off entirely for the last few days. Decided to harvest all the plants together simply because it makes my life easier, believe it or not? Even though the Gorilla Zkittlez could’ve perhaps gone another week even. Oh well. Drying and curing is always an anxious time for me and the aromas are not as pungent as I’d hoped, but let’s hope this bud comes out nice because as this has been a long run due to the cold weather hampering veg early on.

D-70 : At this stage, I'm a bit.... surprised that the Desfrans are not taller thant they are. The smallest one is 35cm wich is really small for a 100% sativa strain. The tallest one is about 56cm, wich is also quiet small I think. If I compare with some other diaries, the tallest one could be in the target if we take into account that I trained them a lot during their first weeks. But the small one is almost the half she should be... There's no sign of deficency, none ! I have 420w @ 50 cm from the top, so it's not because of the light. The container is a 20L smartpot. I simply do not understand. Is it juste because of that phenotype ? Will she grow during the next 7-9 weeks untill she'll recover her late ? I Modified a bit the position of the light so the Lumatek 100w FullSpectrum on the side of the box is really pointed to the "slow" girls. We'll see if it change anything but I really doubt about it... The only lead I have is : Desfran loves HEAT and Light. The 2 smallest are on the coldest side of the box, even if it's not cold at all. But it is the side near the window...

These grow lights are powerful and they’re great but they don’t cover a lot of like for what I need so this should open up my spectrum quite a bit and get the correct like that. I need.
