Missed last week update but did some cutting girls have to live up to the mission 73 between the 5 plant....added one more which was a cutting from a seed plant harvested previous...didn't look like I did anything so cut dem a few day later 85 between the same plants... only cut the lower half of G4 n smaller inside branches( going to stop they dont hold up well)

After defoliating both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants after week 11 they now develop more and amore flower clusters, since the light can penetrate deeper int the canopy now. The plants are producing trichomes like crazy, even the bigger sugar leaves are covered in them! VERY FROSTY PLANTS! The flower clusters clearly form colas now along all side branches and both plants fill up nicely. The smell is now strong and sweet with a clear peach aroma to it, it makes me smile every time I look into the tent. The plants love the Advanced Nutrients feeding schedule and are getting the recommended dose every watering.

I notice her Ovules are very large in size. Quite unlike any plant I have seen before. I don't know if this is a 'primative' strain but it's quite unusual. So far: 147g wet Day 77 - Staggered harvest started. When I see a couple of amber trichomes on a bud I will harvest it and leave the rest. Day 84 - The other colas are getting there slowly. I don't know if it is the heat stressing her out 30 c in tent. We have a heatwave here right now.... Day 84 - 2.11g dry ground up Day 89 - 1.72g dry ground up Day 91 - What is left of her. She looks a mess lol. Day 94 - Final harvest trimmed up and drying. Final dry total to follow in a few days. Day 100 - Final weigh up. Well we got 72.46g on the scales today. I never did wet weight after the first harvest so dismiss that. In total I got 74.57g. It is a very small harvest for me but I don't think this plant has the genetics to be a big yielder.000

The biggest one drink water like no tomorrow, well both of them. I give them a tea liquid compost 3.11.11 of organic fertilizers. Just to keep up with the flowering stages she using up a lot nutritions and I’m glad that I was on top of my game with these outdoors grow. Not bad for novice first timer. My family love them. I’m keep in the sun as thst will help with resins production and the bees are doing a fine job pollen them.

Our White Widow is moving past simple hairs, now we can clearly see the beginnings of tiny buds forming. It’s the second big flower stage in her journey, and the structure is starting to express the true White Widow personality: compact, resinous, and promising. I took her out of the tent for another photoshoot, capturing her in detail with the Sony A6000. Close-ups show her leaves, structure, and those first clustered flowers. I also filmed short videos, including one where I share how I talk with my plants daily. For me, it’s not optional — it’s part of a symbiotic relationship. Plants respond to energy and care, and I believe everyone should try it. 🌱💭 ⸻ Light Strategy – Emerson Effect Simulation A special note this week: I recorded a screen video from the TrolMaster TM+ app to show how the lights are scheduled. 🌅 Wake-up: The reds switch on 15 minutes before the whites and blues. 🌇 Wind-down: At night, the reds also stay on 15 minutes longer than the other spectrums. This is designed to simulate sunrise and sunset while taking advantage of the Emerson Effect, a synergistic boost in photosynthesis efficiency when far-red and red light are combined with other wavelengths. The result? Plants wake up and settle down more naturally, with smoother light transitions, reduced stress, and potentially increased energy capture. It’s a small tweak, but it reflects how every detail of this environment is tuned with intention. ⸻ Environmental Changes This week, a big addition: the AC unit. Before, the room was running hot at 31–32°C and more, but now it’s stable at 28°C (occasionally 29°C). Combined with ~66% RH, this gives a steady VPD of 1.33, right in a comfortable zone for flower. CO₂ naturally fluctuates between 450–800 ppm, and the plants are thriving in these conditions. Even during the hotter weeks, they adapted beautifully, proof of the resilience of both the genetics and the environment we’ve been building. ⸻ Feeding & New Recipe Until now, she’s been on the Aptus base recipe: • Regulator – 0.15 ml/L • CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L This week, I introduced a Plagron trio to push flower development: • Power Buds – 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L • Green Sensation – 1 ml/L Why now? Because she’s transitioned from stretch to actual bud formation. Power Buds helps with compact flowering sites, Sugar Royal enhances metabolism and energy (especially under high light), and Green Sensation supports resin and bud swelling later on. Flowering period started, i added adv nutrients to biobizz line and i just have to understand the reaction of blue dream, i just think there is something too much. I m not sure cause i'm experiencing problems with temperature and humidity too, so i can't exactly recgnize wich is the problem now. i'll update next week hoping the problem will be solved. week 3 is a tough rn not gonna lie shes yellowing extremely fast and shes begging me for potassium. i was just giving her 2 tsps to 3 gallons of water. as of today (jan 8 2022) i gave her a feed of 1 and 1/4 bloom and 1/4 veg nutes to try to fight the yellowing. i honestly dont know if that was the right thing to do most threads i read just said to add some nitrogen but idk if dyna gros bloom and grow are meant to be mixed. especially this late in flower. either way its too late i already gave it to her i guess now all i can do is wait and see what happens. you can see how fast the yellowing is happening too.

Week 6 already, we will add some extra PK until week 7 more or less as this strain has a little longer flowering, the buds are starting to look great, they are getting bigger and longer week by week!

February 28, 2019 Update: Chugging right along in the veg tent. I sprayed the plants with Neem Oil last week and the leaves look shiny from that, but no new signs of bug damage since then. I did feed them a little Recharge also and they really responded great to that. After taking the pics I did some HST bending at the base of the stem on all plants. I didn't bend them over, just pinched real hard and wiggled the plant back and forth until I could feel the bend between my fingers. We'll see how that goes. The DinaMed's are still taller than the MediKush's but the MediKush's still have a nice tight node structure. If all goes to plan I'll have my flowering plants chopped and hanging in 2 weeks and will then be able to move these girls into the flowering room. Bonus pic at the end of the view from my bedroom window. I'd love to see my buds get that frosty!

Week 21 of the Pineapple Upside Down has been a slow, steady week of adaptation. Nothing dramatic happened, but this phase is crucial, because the plant is still adjusting to the new light spectrum. At the start of the week, I had bumped the PPFD up to around 500. But it became obvious pretty quickly that she wasn’t handling that intensity well. The apex looked tired, the leaves were curling downward like a soft saddle, and the whole plant was signaling that the metabolic shift wasn’t complete yet. So I made the decision to step the intensity back down to 300 PPFD. A gentler light, less metabolic pressure, and a better environment for the plant to recalibrate after the spectrum change. These adaptation phases always take time— forcing it only delays the recovery. Over the next few days, I started noticing some very subtle signs. The apex seems to be lifting again, and the leaves that were curling now look like they’re slowly opening back up. It’s still too early to confirm anything, so I’m keeping expectations realistic. Right now, visual impressions are all we have, and the plant still needs space to stabilize. For this stage, the strategy is simple: no adjustments, no extra stress, no forced progression. We keep the light at 300 PPFD and let her rebuild her momentum naturally. Only when she gives a clear, confirmed sign of vigor—not just a hint— will we start considering the transition to flower. So Week 21 was a quiet-looking week, but an important one metabolically. The plant is processing the spectrum change, resetting its rhythm, and hopefully setting the foundation for a clean, strong pre-flower phase. We’ll check back next week to see if the recovery continues and whether she’s finally ready to move forward. 😎

My 3 week estimate last week might be a little long. Thinking 1 more week maybe. It's going cloudy pretty quick. We'll see how the week goes. Tried to clean up a little more between branches today but the canopy is pretty ridiculous for only 3 plants(really two and a half since #2 got a little stunted from the early root rot). I really should have been more aggressive skirting out the lesser undergrowth. I left it because it managed to stretch to canopy level but it's really choked up some areas. Buds are basically laying on one another when you get deeper in. Gonna be plenty of fluff for extracts.

Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Inspected, measured and reported on each plant. ### Week 6 Day 3 23:00 31/7 It has not escaped my attention that the plants that are more advanced into flower have darkened and have some burnt tips. I need to flush them and lay off the base nutes a bit. Flowering week 2 begins for Super Lemon Haze. She grew about two inches in height, a little bit of stretching and her foliage filled in nicely from last week's defoliation. Hopefully this week we will see some more stretch and bud sites developing. Thanks for checking out my grow 👽🌳
