As you can see, LST works well, Gorilla Strawberry tolerates LST very well, in almost all plants I managed to keep the branches at the same height I made a minor defoliation of large leaves. The rest I slide under the twigs every day so that they do not make a shadow. Due to a high wind that lasted 2 days and LST one of my Gorilla Strawberry broke in half and holds on about 20% of the stem. I was thinking about trying the method HST and I will remove the cracked part of the plant, but I did not have the heart to cut it off, so I decided to use the patch that I carry with me in the first aid kit if I cut myself. From two twigs and a patch I made a primitive splint. The next day I took an insulating tape with me into the forest and once again wrapped the splint for better strength. And as you can see, the plant lives and thrives :) Next, I want to show you the pest Leaf Minner, which makes tunnels in the leaves and then pupates on the underside of the leaf I tear off the leaf or crush the pest Next, I would like to show you a very useful beetle, a ladybug that eats, for example, aphids, in the photo you see a pupated ladybug larva, do not kill it !!!

Has a sweet taste to it. Again , I didn’t log any larf in the weight. Very resistant strain.

5l watering today , sums up to 20l this week

Overall this was a good second grow. The initial defoliation was key in getting the nice density I missed out on last time. These plants went through the bloom cycle using a reservoir (5 gallon bucket) and drip irrigation system exclusively. Once I got the correct timing done for the watering, this setup was really great; I was able to go about 1-2 weeks between water refills, so it was easy leave for a couple of short stints with no negative effects on the plants. The one major thing I'd like to work on for next time is the drying process. I'm not sure if I cut the branches too small, if the room was just too dry, or if I just let them go too long (I had to leave for 9 days, and they were drying the whole time). While the curing has helped them get a little moisture back, the actual drying left the buds pretty crispy.

Hello. This is the end of week 12 and the beginning of week 13 of veg. Everything is going good in here. The plants seem to have doubled since last week. They all got a gallon of food yesterday and were all reaching up this morning when I went in. Every few days I push the tips down under the next rung to spread these girls out more. I'll do some training on the 3 plants I've got going indoors this week. Ok. Have Fun. Chuck.

welp i pushed them 1 more week and now they are receiving the flower nutrients, i gave these ladies a heavy defoliation last week and as you can tell now it does not even look like a took a leaf off.. will possibly give 1 more like defoliation and then let them all put on the weight, lets see what these ladies are made of 😆

The plants are settling into their new shoes. They have just had water and elite 91 roots as there is some Greenhouse Bio Grow in the soil mix. I am going to try and make some KNF nutrients this week to boost the growth phase.

The big day is here! 😎 Today, March 28th, 104 days (15 weeks) after germination, I have harvested my first indoor photoperiod plant. It has been an incredible challenge, especially managing it in the middle of a winter environment, but the results speak for themselves. 📏 Harvest Data (Wet Weight) -Total Wet Weight: 56.5 grams (15.7g + 40.8g). -Final Height: 40 cm of pure density. -Status: Rock-hard buds and an impressive resin layer. -Dry Estimate: I estimate that after water loss (60-70% less), the final dry weight will be between 14 and 17 grams, given how dense the buds are and the cold conditions we’ve faced. 🌡️ Process Summary -Managing a grow with lows of 12°C for my first indoor photoperiod experience has been difficult. I am aware that a climate control system would have been ideal, but the budget is what it is 😆. Despite the limitations, using lukewarm water for irrigation and controlling the lamp height were vital. This plant has been a great learning experience, and I am sure the next one will be much better, applying everything I’ve discovered during these 15 weeks. Now, on to a slow and controlled dry so the flavor is as spectacular as its look! I want to wrap up this diary by thanking everyone who has joined me during these 15 weeks. Hello Growers & Tokers! This week was all about the roots! At the beginning of the week, on day 17 or so.. they all got transplanted into their final pots, 11L fabric pots. Medium used was Light Mix from BioBizz. Synergy from Grotek nutrients was blended in the medium to help out the roots. They were a bit droopy the first days but by the end of the week leaves perked back up and started getting that dark green color. I plan on leaving them be for a week then topping them.
