Got a new light this week, it's basically a HLG 260 R-Spec except locally manufactured using the same Samsung LEDs. Big Mumma got her 60x60cm tent today and will go in there under one Viparspectra 300W blurple (130w from the wall). I trimmed her, super cropped her main stem and added a scrog net in preparation of flowering her in the next couple of days. Because my other plants were getting up past 75cm after 7 days of flower (100cm is my absolute max) , I decided to supercrop the canopy back down to about 60-65cm - it was pretty scary and I definitely broke the outer stem on some of them. Also gave them a good trim. Fortunately most bounced back strong the next day which are the most up-to-date photos you see (17/4/20).

I’m surprised they weren’t affected by the power outages since I kept them in 48 hrs of darkness before returning to the regular light cycle. Had a small thrips disturbance as these were clones and I believe that was the original source *THEY JUST KEEP COMING BACK GRRR* Next go around seedlings only, low baked soil and proper sanitization of my tent. But as it stands I’m quite curious as to how much these buds will pack on since the light I have is “rated @1000w” but the power draw is considerably lower than that. 2/5/2024: She grew another 2 inches, so I'm not seeing the stretch I was hoping for. Think she is going to be small, but that's OK. Other than some slightly burnt tips, she is doing good. Just starting to smell a little and I can see the first signs of some tricomes. Mainly bottom watering, but I mist the top a couple times a week to keep the top soil moist. 2/7/2023: watered with about .6 gallons today. Mainly filled the tray to bottom water, but made sure the top soil was moist as well. Also, gave the cover crop a little haircut, but the clippings went right back into the 2/11/2024: a few of the pistols are starting to darken and she is starting to smell more and more each day. At this point I'm getting a sweet and floral smell. Don't mind the trellis net in the picture, it's for the other two photo period plants growing next to her.

Plants respond really good to defoliation, the plants grow a lot in 48 hours after defoliation. In the first day of this week I changed de lights, but the flowers start showing up 1 week after the change.

To tell the truth, I am very surprised myself, how amazing she is FastBuds Gorilla cookies, she copes well with a small space:) she drinks 1 liter every day :) everything looks better than expected:) good luck to everyone.

So sorry I missed a week! We were gone on vacation and I couldn't get good connections 😕 I removed most of her LST ties because her branches have hardened up enough Ahsoka Is doing terrific!! Her buds are really staring to get dense and sticky. And her smell!! 🤭 is wonderful! I'll try to describe it when it matures a bit more. So Ahsoka should be within 2 weeks to finishing so we have switched to regular water to get her a good chance to flush properly 🤞 Big new on the tent! I upgraded to a 4x8 and added 4 3500k auto cobs from cobshop.net And an AC Infinity 6" TS fan which is silent and awesome! Growing well. Hoping this is a good all around strain for daytime. I've read great reviews as a medical strain for many ailments, hopefully I'll be able to find out.

2024-11-27 to 2024-12-02 The first time I grew Chernobyl, the plant was dense and unruly with thick, lush vegetation. In fact, the plant took up so much room in my tent that I have it to a friend to finish outdoor. It showed signs of bud rot early in the flowering period and luckily, most of it was saved from itself. In addition, the stems of this strain are more hollow and brittle, gaining thickness quickly and making Low Stress Training a difficult task that requires patience when working the branches around the LST clips. I have broken many branches on a Chernobyl plant even when applying care and caution. It requires getting the plant to the shape and size you need early, so that silica can be added to strengthen the branches in prep for those killer nugs. They are taking about .5 gallons of feed every other day.
