I’m getting so jazzed about this Bruce Banner Auto, upside down grow. Week 8 and she’s getting thicker everyday. I wasn’t sure if she would really amount to a nice grow but it has surpassed my expectations and is turning into a beautiful plant, no real issues to speak of, I do put her under cover every night and pay extra attention to this one but over all what a great experiment #peace ✌️🌱✌️

Been on the Spananbis so I wasnt able to check on them but they did really good the last few days. Put a net on them to spread them out a bit cause im scared of not enough airflow between the plants

These lady’s still in veg. I see the hairs forming slowly on both, it’s almost week 7 so I’ll call it week 7 flower. Doesn’t seem to have any problems she just keeps growing.

Ending the fifth week of flower, we are humming right along. Needless to say, weeks 1 to 4 of flower is where the hard work comes into play (pre and post flower top dressings, PPFD light adjustment, defoliation, structure netting, etc.). Now, it's just a matter of ensuring good health until harvest. Towards end of this week five, you can see the canopy of buds gaining in density and weight. I'll continue to gauge whether or not a second netting is needed. The super soil medium was top dressed at the end of week four, so that's it in terms of feeding. The final tea will take place at end of week six. Thereafter, ph'd water until harvest. The estimated harvest window is January 28 (day 56) to February 11 (70 days). Aside from the physical beauty of these girls, the smell is getting stronger by the day. Installing new carbon filter today. and another week has passed. she is developing very well. she tolerated the FIMing very well and she is getting really bushy. i have changed the fertiliser from biobizz-grow to biobizz-fishmix.

Dear diary, Week 4 almost done, but posting a day in advance as I will need help from the community! Something terrible has happened, and I am not sure what, so let’s jump into it. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 25: Away from home so the flatmate is feeding them from the premixed bucket. ⏰ Day 26: Back home! As they have doubled in size I am transplanting up from 3liter to 20liter airpots. The 75/25 coco to perlite mix was first run with 1.23ms 5.8ph calmag water followed by 1.33ms 5.8ph nutes before transplanting over. Light was about 305 so also upped it to 320-330ppfd. ⏰ Day 27: Feed the girls at 1.36ms and 6.0ph. Today was also the day where the mainlining begins! This was done by topping above the 3rd node, removing any growth below the 3rd and tying them down to start the manfold. Aiming for 8 or 16 tops for each plant depending on how the grow. ⏰ Day 28: Feeding at 1.36ms 5.8ph and adjusted ties. ⏰ Day 29: Checked in on them in the morning before lights off, and something is very wrong. All the older leaves show all kinds of issues like curling, brown and yellow spots, drooping etc. Might just be from the chock of mainlining and the lights being to strong so lowered them to 230ppfd. Later when lights turned on again, their state has not deteriorated during light off, so I’m fairly sure it is light related. But to be sure I also gave the girls 2 liter each of feed to make sure there are no dryspots, 1.36ms 6.0ph. ⏰ Day 30: I was away all day so they were watered by flatmate with 1.35ms 6ph. When I came home later in the night the spots and yellowing is still happening on the older leaves but much slower than before. I also checked runoff and it’s fine at 1.46ms and 6.0ph. ⏰ Day 30: Gave a feeding of 1.46ms 6.3ph in were I increased A and B nutes to 2.5ml/l from 2.0 and calmag to 1.5ml/l from 1.3. Someone suggested that it might be magnesium deficiency so that is why I changed the ratios and increased the EC a bit. Lastly I also gave a foliar spray of calmag water at like 12ml/l at 6.3ph to see if that helps so we can head into a smoother week 5!

As you can see from the pics she has entered her death cycle. I saw a lot of the buds tightening up this week and she gaining some density.

My baby girls is looking much more stronger now that the nematodes are doing their magic and are eliminating little by little those horrible gnats. I'm using straw to cover the medium so I can avoid the direct light for the beneficial bacteria in this case a nematode called steinernema feltiae excellent to get rid of the freaking gnats! I just cannot wait to see this wonderful amnesia pro im full flower!

We have a new girl with suggestive references: Lavender is in fact a fantastic plant, widely used in human history for various purposes, with a purple color that no one can escape. Creating a lavender-flavored plant is a great idea and we want to enjoy it soon. The plant grows well, the leaves are regular and very turned towards the light, it is very proportionate even I don't see stretching, bending and things that don't convince me. Soon we start with the grow. The girls have already been trashed in 11 lt jars because the biodegradable jars have started to decompose prematurely, no problem let's go to the ground, Power Roots for root fertilizing. THURSDAY 7/18: She really perked up in the sunshine with the boom boom spray and kelp dosing, so I put her outdoors again at first light today. I also re-planted her in the same cup, but I put about 2 centimeters of coarse perlite in the bottom along with another handful of soil. Her tiny lower branches are finally getting some light! I'll start training her a bit now, and I should be able to FIM her tomorrow or the next day. She's in direct scorching sunlight for 8 hours a day and about 8 inches below a 40w Sansi 4000k LED and a 75w LED panel (6500k/460nm 1:1 ratio) for 16 hours a day, I'll dial it back to 22-hour days at the first sign of flowering and swap out the blue/white panel for an all 660nm red panel(or two), and continue to gradually decrease her nighttime until harvest I've also got a little 20w spotlight with a Cree chip that's tuned to 3000k that I'll probably hammer her "massive" cola with as she starts to ripen up.😎 SUNDAY: She was looking a little bit haggard after yesterday...I think the sun is beating her up too badly. With such a tiny amount of soil, I think the roots are getting way too hot, even being in a cup within a cup wrapped with duct tape. Today, I'm leaving her indoors under the LEDs, but considering putting her cup inside another solo cup without any drainage holes, and setting that cup into pot of water with a fresh "blue ice" pack so as to keep the root temperature down...and replacing the blue ice pack every couple of hours while she's outdoors...or maybe I'll just take a pot and fill it with some of the orange-red clay that I find when I dig down a couple of feet..create a solo cup sized hole in it so that she has a surrounding layer of clay to keep her cooler during the day...not sure.. I foliar fed her and mixed about 4 grams of Bactrex into a jug with 3/4 gallon of bottled water and douched all my plants with about 2 pints each, except her...she got about 6 oz. of solution. That should really get the beneficial bacteria and fungus kicked into overdrive. I started brewing a 4 gallon batch of compost tea today. Since I don't have any Orgatrex, I am using a little Big Bloom, Kelp Me Kelp You, and Grow Big in the tea in addition to the PK Compost Booster tea from Bio Tabs. I'll add Mycotrex to it about 2 hours before it finishes and thoroughly dowse them all tomorrow morning. MONDAY: Today, after I FIM'd her, I decided to move her outdoors into a semi-shaded spot, with the rest of the girls during the day. To deal with the heat on her roots, I decided to just bury the larger solo cup (no drainage holes or soil in it) up to the rim in a 3 gallon pot full of soil. This will allow me to easily bring her indoors every (or every other) night to soak up more light in my cabinet. The plant's roots will never have any access to the other soil, but I'm hoping that if I keep that outer soil wet it will hold the root temperatures down in the soil inside the cup. If it turns out that her roots are so strong that they "break through" the plastic to get to the outer soil, I'll either remove the plastic and drop out of the contest, or just bring her indoors permanently.😁 She got some freshly brewed compost tea this morning along with a foliar feeding...a major pain in the ass to lug a 5-gallon pail down to the site...maybe I'll invest in a small solar panel and 12 volt battery and inverter so I can do the brewing on site...
