The theme for this week? Patience and appreciation. These girls continue to grow at their own pace, each one showcasing their unique traits and incredible beauty. Week Recap: Slow and Steady Wins the Race The girls are still on the slower side in terms of growth, but that’s part of their charm. Each leaf is a masterpiece, more intricate and stunning than the last. Their prayer posture remains consistent—a true testament to their health and contentment in their environment. They may be taking their time, but their vitality and uniqueness shine through every step of the way. Environmental Conditions: Keeping Things Balanced This week has been about maintaining a steady environment despite the natural slowdown in growth due to cooler temperatures. • Temps: Daytime 18–20°C, nighttime 14–16°C. It’s a bit chillier than usual, but these resilient ladies are adapting beautifully. • Humidity: Stable at 65%, ensuring the girls remain hydrated and comfortable. • Airflow: Gentle but constant to keep the space fresh and prevent any stagnant air pockets. Feeding Program: Aptus Holland Perfection Feeding remains consistent, and the girls are loving the organic-mineral lineup from Aptus Holland. Here’s what’s in their mix this week: • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L – To strengthen cell walls and increase stress resistance. • CalMag Boost: 0.25 ml/L – For robust development and prevention of deficiencies. • StartBooster: 0.25 ml/L – Enhances early vegetative growth and root systems. The switch to All-in-One Pellets last week has eliminated the need for liquid All-in-One, and the girls seem to be thriving with this natural, slow-release food source. Watering: A Gnat-Free Approach This week, I continued with bottom watering. Filling the trays and letting the soil absorb the water has been a game-changer—not just for healthy root development but also as a part of the war against gnats. Paired with yellow sticky traps, this strategy has kept pests in check while ensuring the roots get all the hydration they need. Growth Observations: Slow but Stunning • Structure: The slow growth might test patience, but the payoff is worth it. The compact, vibrant structure of each plant is breathtaking. • Leaves: Dark green, uniquely shaped, and full of character. Each girl is like an artist’s brushstroke—no two alike. • Praying Posture: Their leaves reach for the skies like they’re soaking up every ounce of light. Still no cloning or flipping to 12/12 yet, as I want them to grow a bit more before making any big moves. Next week, I’ll decide whether to flip them for a brief period to determine sex or wait until cloning is feasible. Harvest went great but couldn't be happier with 12 oz of off of this girl. I did take a clone that I'm going to try to reveg. I think it's awesome that she turned out to be a photo. At 50 days she was selling those signs of flour until I say River in to 1212 flower lighting and she took off

15 Day dry then trimmed using the Trim Bin. Curing with Grove bags, first harvest filled 3, 1/4lb grove bags. *Updating with clone pictures of this pheno in late flower labeled in diary as you look through, If I pop a new seed of this strain Ill start another diary

Note: At time of writing the Runtz has had 2 weeks cure, will update the review and rate it after 2+ months cure. Hermied a bit, has very few seeds so not too bad. Growth review: - vigorous grower during veg - solid stretch - medium internode distance - small sized buds - lower buds not too airy - very easy/not fussy - medium amount of smell - 80+ days flower (12/12) in hydro DWC under full spectrum led - responded well to various lst techniques Ease of growth rating: 9/10 General note: --> For me personally this strain NEEDS a good cure and is not worth smoking yet... It has a bit of a citrus grassy (not hay) taste, with some 'special' fruity smells to it that remind a bit of grapes/cassis. When grinding/opening the curing pots there is a pretty dank heavy weed smell so I think the quality will come out after a few months of cure... In its current state not worth smoking for the taste or effect after 14 days cure. --> Currently the effect is not very strong, easy to handle and I need a lot to feel a bit. The effect lasts for short compared to the average strains I smoke. Should develop more character with a longer cure. Hash making notes: - water extraction of the trim yielded 16g of hash (45mc-220mc) - rosin has a bit too much of a weird spicy grassy taste which make it a bit unpleasant, waiting till the buds improve with cure to try again - rosin color at 80c is yellow/white/beige creamy waxy, with hard consistency - rosin color at 95c is golden with hard consistency

After having my first plant that I gave hose water and sunlight be cut in half by a caterpillar, and my first indoor plant to get botrytis. This has been my first fully successful harvest and I couldn't be happier. Been listing to all of the GFYH podcast with Rasta Jeff and learned most of the steps through listening on repeat at work. This plant is very fun to grow, it will naturally fill it's canopy without much LST and occasionally topping. I have no complaints about the nutrients, mostly using FoxFarm items, the trio is nice and I can see the difference when I pushed to far either way with them, the plants would respond pretty quickly and I could fix and possibly compensate for the mistake and they would bounce back like nothing. Not having experience with other brands I'll say that I am happy enough to keep it as a constant variable for my personal refinement in becoming a better grower. I plan to continue growing this strain for a while so that I can have a way to see my improvement, and I will likely make another journal after at least a couple harvests.

Taken down today. Chop,dry,burp,cure to follow. Good season, no mold, no bugs, frosty nugs. Will smoke the entire yield in one video take on harvest week. Stay tuned

This is one of my favourite plants I have grown. She looks so different to the usual plants. She smell very strong and is loving being outside despite rubbish UK weather. Cant wait for this one to finish.
