********Week 9 Vegetation- Sept 12 to 18, 2020******* This will be the last veg week. Flipped to flower cycle at the end of the week:) LST this week on these girls. Getting them ready to put in a SCROG I think. Pull them down for now to start pulling them wider and make it easier to fill in the canopy’s net. Actually, they were only tied down for this week. At the end of the week I removed the ties. These girls need to be allowed to grow tall. I achieved my goal of spreading out the branches and making her wider for the start of flower. Now I just have to let her go and hope she will get another 12” to 18” taller in the stretch. There were 4 feed days this week and Advanced Nutrients Bud Ignitor was introduced this week.......getting ready for flower👍 Switch to Bloom nutes next week. Going to finish these girls with Advance Nutrients line this run. I may have to use a supplemental from Green Planet to get through to harvest. This lines bottles are getting closer to a year and a half old now........use em uip👌😃 Not buying more Bud Factor X for example (still have a couple of syringes worth) but rather will add Terpinator and Rezin instead. Little more detail: Sept 12/20 - CalMag @ 2ml, VeloKelp, Vitrathrive @ 1.5ml, AN Sensi Grow A&B @ 1ml - 610ppm and 5.9pH - Each girl given 2L - Pulled out and cleaned up to get ready for netting - Canopy height fairly even today.....little more time to fill in though. Sept 14/20 - Giving them a hearty feeding today with lots of ml’s to rinse off the roots a little more - Sensi CalMag @ 2ml, B52, Microbial Mass @ 1.5ml, Sensi Grow @ 1ml - 880ppm and 5.4pH - Each girl given 4L and they had a nice amount of runoff - maybe 30% this time. - Canopy filling in nice but worried about these girls height compared to Gorilla Girl beside them. Uneven heights down the road?? Sept 15/20 - Add some sweetener to feed the microbes today,. - Sensi CalMag @ 2ml, Bud Candy, B52 @ 1.5ml - 625ppm and 5.2pH - 2L each for the girls - Leaf colour is a little light so getting the Magnesium up and Nitrogen......that’s why using the heigh nitrogen Advance Nutrients Cal Mag. - pH is a little low but I am cool with it and working on not letting the pH drift too much yet in their run. - They are ready.........they want to flower😃 Sept 17/20 - Bud Ignitor introduced today as we get ready for Flower phase next week. - Sensi CalMag, Sensi Grow A&B, Bud Ignitor, all @ 1ml/L - 485 ppm and 5.7pH - Each girl given 2L - Ready to flip now but I concerned that I need to have these girls at least 8” higher than they are beucase they are not going to stretch as much as the other girls in the tent. - these girls have some most fan leaves growing.......I want to pull them but I am resisting😉 - Swtich the light cycle tonight to 12/12 and get the party started👊👍 That takes us to the end of Veg for these two girls. They have some very thick main branches and lots of large fan leaves. I expect to see further side branching growth in the next couple of weeks. they both have 4 nice main tops forming so I expect they should have a few chunky buds by the end💪 The girl in the 3gal pot is doing very well and I would suggest looking better than the girl in the 5 gal pot right now. Not fully surprising to me though.......the bigger girl with the extra room for roots, will likely seem a little happier in about 5 weeks but time will tell. Cheers Growmies and have a great week🙏

In week 7 the humidity inside my HOMEBOX tent skyrockets again due to bad outside weather (with a maximum of 79% !!!). The plants continue to grow well and the first white crowns of flower hairs (=pistils) can be seen forming on the plants, flowering has definitely started. All twelve AK-47 plants from SERIOUS SEEDS have a healthy green color and LOVE the MILLS nutrients and the spectrum of the SANlight-LEDs. Both Q5W-Gen. 2 lamps are now dimmed to 80 % (=TWO GREEN LIGHTS on dimmer ON) and still WITHOUT the SUNRISE-FADE function (=ORANGE light on dimmer is OFF). The LEDs are still at appr. 70 cm distance of the canopy in order to ensure a proper stretch. The plants develop fast and have FILLED OUT the tent COMPLETELY again after being defoliated last week. On day 47 I decide to give the plants full power for flowering and change the dimmer to 100% (=3 GREEN LIGHTS on dimmer ON). Lets see how this works out, I LOVE how it goes so far...😍👍😎

This past week has been a struggle. I keep my plants on the balcony during the day and in the grow box during night and I inspect every single of their leaves everytime I move them in or out. A few days ago I noticed some kind of microscopic egg on one of her flowers and then some sort of parasites under her leaves. Since then: panic. I searched for the name of the parasite (acarus) and bought some neem oil which I applied manually on every leaf (to prevent it from going on the flowers) and onto the ground. Since then the parasites are almost gone. But now she has these "sad" leaves, with their points bent down and the margins as well.. I've read different explanations, but I think in my it might be the high temperature and the overwatering, together with the dammed fungus flies. I'll keep going with the neem oil and diminish the water. Apart from all this, her flowers are still growing and producing so much resin🤤

Gg is about ready to harvest looking to harvest sometime this weekend (5/7-5/10). Everything else still has a few more weeks at least.

These guys seem to have some stunted growth from being in that shitty rock wool dish setup I had but they are making up for it now that they are in the air pots. I transplanted them into sunshine #4 because my other plants have had problems with N tox in coco loco, the only other soil mix I have...probably won’t ever be using fox farm soil again. Too expensive for what it is and it’s a pain in the ass dealing with nute probs. Day 8: into the new grow tent tomorrow

Welcome to Garden of Green Cup 🏆 Flowering day 75 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update. Did some defoliation this week, not much but enough to create some airflow and unblock a few bud sites. Readjusted my DIY “floating” to take up some of the stretch that had gotten out of control, ❤️ that I can do that! The frost is real for this strain OMG, week 3 and it’s already as frosty as some of the Autoflower’s I have grown. Temps have been climbing here and there, we’re getting a lot of dry heat so that’s the plus at least, not a lot of humidity at the moment. I’m really wishing I had taken clones from these girls because I’m sure they are going to be insane if they look this good at week 3. 🇨🇦👊❤️

This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. I really enjoy growing and this strain is one I've spent a lot of time on. This is my largest harvest of Gelato Cake and it was only 1 plant, I have harvested 5 at once and just equaled what this one plant did. I feel really good about it thanks to the GD community for the support and diaries to learn from

Graft is finally flowering :) The plant is flowering different parts at different rates As you can see there is less nitrogen for the plant to use. Nevertheless it is still growing leaves everywhere! Main cola is stacking nicely 👍🏽 I canny wai laddy I jus canny doooo it :)

Day 106. AK is going to end, i start to see ambers. Will push 8 more days. Watered today, one more left and then chop. Sweet smell is everywhere from her, very nice ! Mars TSL2000 has far reds integrated, so i expect a bit more coat ;) Great light ! Happy Growing !!!

This is mainly an ongoing diary to check on the feminization rate of my autos.To see if they will, herm out, i'm not necessarily doing stress tests.I am still growing them within a given range. I have yet to see any pollen sacks or nanners. However, I am impressed that we're looking at Six out of ten have gone into blooms so far. Of the autos that I bred. I put a random updated video of a banana, purple punch r three and lemon cherry gelato r three hybrid that I give to my dad to adopt. I'm genuine super pleased with the autos that i've read.They're not stressed or irregular, even though I didn't give em the best start. Because I reuse soil .
