While not drastic, this slight chill is enough to slow down growth a bit as the plants adapt. Cooler temps can encourage tighter node spacing, but they can also delay development slightly. Here’s how we’re addressing it: Proactive Monitoring: Keeping a close eye on temperature and RH trends to ensure they remain within optimal ranges. Gradual Adjustments: Slowly warming the environment with indirect heat sources if necessary, without shocking the plants. Remember, plants are incredibly resilient—and this slight delay will only make the Croco girls’ eventual growth even more rewarding. Feeding Updates: All in One Pellets & Organic Boost 🌾 This week marked a significant milestone: I introduced Aptus Holland’s All in One Pellets to the soil mix. Here’s how it went down: Preparation: Added a generous dose of the pellets to each pot. Soil Enrichment: Topped the pots with Pro Mix soil, bringing the total soil volume to 1 liter per plant. Feeding Transition: While I did one last watering with All in One Liquid, I’ll now rely primarily on: Regulator (0.15ml/L): To support stress resistance and strengthen cell walls. CalMag Boost (0.25ml/L): For calcium and magnesium supplementation, essential for strong stems and vibrant growth. Start Booster (0.25ml/L): To continue promoting robust root development. The combination of organic pellets and the Aptus liquid lineup ensures the girls have everything they need for a slow, steady nutrient release while maintaining microbial activity in the soil. Watering Technique: Bottom-Up Hydration 💧 This week, I switched to bottom-watering, a game-changer in preventing fungus gnats and promoting healthier root development. How It Works: Water is added to the tray, allowing the soil to wick moisture upwards through capillary action. Advantages: Reduces surface moisture, deterring gnats from laying eggs. Encourages roots to grow deeper as they seek water, resulting in a stronger root system. To further combat gnats, I’ve also placed yellow sticky traps around the pots. This dual strategy—bottom-watering and sticky traps—is already showing promising results. Mutant Marvels: The Funky Leaf Phenomenon 🍃 Each Croco girl is a masterpiece of mutation, with unique leaf shapes and growth patterns. No two plants are alike, and that individuality is part of what makes this grow so exciting. I’m patiently waiting for them to grow large enough to identify their sex. Here’s the plan moving forward: Option 1: Flip to 12/12 Temporarily: A one-week light flip to identify sex, then returning to veg. Pros: Fast and straightforward. Cons: Slight delay in veg growth. Option 2: Clone & Flip: Take cuttings from each plant, root them, and flip the clones to flower. Pros: Preserves the main plants in veg. Cons: Requires additional space and time for cloning. I’ll decide based on how the girls progress over the next week or two. Either way, I’m excited to unlock their potential. Photography: Capturing the Magic 📸 This week, I focused on showcasing the Croco girls’ beauty through a mix of macro photography and behind-the-scenes shots. Using both my Sony and Nikon cameras, I’ve been able to capture intricate details—from water droplet reflections to the delicate veining in their leaves. Why Use a DSLR/Mirrorless Camera? Greater sensor size allows for higher-quality images compared to even the latest smartphones. The ability to swap lenses provides flexibility for macro shots, wide angles, and close-ups. Depth of field and manual focus control ensure every shot is intentional and artistic. Lens Choices: Macro lenses (e.g., 90mm) for close-ups of leaf textures and water droplets. Standard lenses (e.g., 50mm) for portrait-style plant shots. While phone cameras like the latest iPhone can take great photos, they can’t quite match the level of detail, depth, and creative control a dedicated camera offers. Shes having her last flush today on her day 75. Its a late journal im totally new here and at growing too since i started this new passion on late december 2019 so 6 months ago or already 2 harvest ago lol. Just to let everyone know that this is my first time ever growing automatics too and wont be the last cause ill go again in auto mode next run. 1st run was fem seeds from crop king too the blue cookie. No lst or defoliation on this run cause im too new to this and i tried in my first run and i made so many mistakes lol. Not this time oh no :D I gave myself a chance to learn about my plants and how to feed well this time.

Bien aquí esta el día esperado la cosecha, es mi primer cultivo y considero que lo logre. En muchos medios de lectura y en especial en vídeos mencionan que no puedes esperar mucho es tu primer cultivo. En mi caso es falso y lo demuestro ya que si aprendes, investigas por cuenta y lees lo suficiente, obtendrás un alto porcentaje de que los resultados se den. Muy contento con mi plantas y sus tonos morados. Puntos a mejorar tener una carpa de cultivo y por su puesto un extractor de humedad para que baje la humedad preferiblemente a 45 grados Vendrán mejores contenidos y cosechas mas abundantes. Let them dry hang for 8 Days and they are perfect fruity

We’ve now reached the third week of flowering, and I’m thrilled with how well my plant is doing! I adjusted the nutrients recently, and it’s definitely made a difference. The plant seems to be thriving, and the leaves are showing a vibrant green, indicating that it’s getting exactly what it needs. Even more exciting, the trichomes are starting to form all over the buds, and there’s no shortage of them! It’s amazing to see so many trichomes developing this early on, giving the plant a frosty look already. The overall growth is still going strong, and the buds are getting fuller. I’m really happy with the progress so far and can’t wait to see how things continue in the coming weeks. I hope this nutrient adjustment keeps everything on track for a great harvest!💚🌱

09/11/2019 Start of week 3

Début de la 1ère semaine officiellement le 10 Septembre, les deux graines de BB ont fait leurs petites plantules en quasiment 1 jour après la mise en terre. J’ai effectué la technique avec le verre d’eau et ça a fonctionné en 1-2j. Semaine 1 demain. À très bientôt ! (Une fois mis en terre malgré les conditions de culture peu commode j’essaye d’apporter de l’humidité à la plante donc si vous avez une idée ou des conseils je suis preneur et aussi pour tout commentaire positif 🤟🏾) #TeamGrow #FastBuds

Partially drained the tank at the start of the week and topped up with ro water and 1ml of final solution per Litre. Last 2.5 days were in darkness. I trimmed the majority of fan leaves before hanging up to dry in the tent today. Started out trimming with the plants in the tent and soon realised it would be much easier to just cut them down whole, hang them upside down outside the tent and trim them up a bit. I have a small dehumidifier and a small fan heater setup in the tent and they have been keeping a humidity level of about 60% and a temp of 16 Celsius for the last few days while the lights have been off. I figure that's a good starting point for drying and I can increase the temperature if needed, that will drop the humidity also. Intake fan at the bottom and extract fan at the top are running constantly as they have been since the grow started (low power 4" fans). I might add back in a fan for circulation depending on how the drying goes, or maybe even trim or hang the plants better to get more airflow around the buds

So far these girls are beginning their push towards early stages of flowering! Each node is slowly developing pistils, new growth & reaching for the light! They've widened quite a bit seeing as both plants are slowly making their way outside the edge of their 6.6 gallon autopots. I'm noticing the increase in water consumption with no signs of new deficiencies at the 1.7EC 5.8ph. I will be increasing the the EC to 2.0 after flowering begins to progress.

Herrrrro gang! Welcome to another week of Daank's grow! 8/2: Brought back the Great White. I was reading that it works well in conjunction with other root excelurators, like Rapid Start. I got 2 more temp/humidity sensors for the tent. It allows me to keep track of 100% of what is really going on, I find it to take away worry (b/c temps are very important!). Today was a "eureka!" moment in terms of understanding run-off pH and it's value to telling the grower how healthy the plant is and what nutes may, or may not, be needed. I also got some new LED glasses so I don't burn my fucking corneas when tending to the garden - they are phenomenal and I suggest them if you grow with an LED. Check the videos and photos. Pistils are growing rapidly and baby budlets are starting to form. I'm actually getting a nice subtle purple color - it's very neat. Today's run-off pH was 6.3, and I gave it 6.3 for water - so that's a good sign (I bounce the pH all around from 5.5-6.3). I'll keep track of this moving forward in the diary. Minor defoliation. ***Pro-Tip: If you're wondering what the run-off should be... around +.5/-.5 of what you put in is good. By the end of this week I assume we'll be in full swing. Day 39: I have ordered new nutes, Advanced Nutrients. The reviews, photos, and research all point to using this for the best results. I found them to be a bit expensive, but if I can always get perfect pH values without much of a hassle... I'm down. They will be here by end of the week and I'll transition that over this weekend. I can't wait. Day 40: 8/6 - Advanced Nutrient nutes arrive today. Watering will be a pleasure. The plants look great. The buds are real. Small smell. Trimmed last night quite a bit for bud production. They love George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". It perks 'em up.

day 73 I was not ready for all this! 🤣🤣 they literally exploded, even though the buds of El Patron are much thinner than the purple queen I have in my tent, I had to tie them up so that the weight of the flowers didn't break the branches. I have to say that 6 photoperiods are too many for my 1m x 1m x 2m tent. in addition to this I have noticed that they are very hungry. like me and give me some advice. thanks for stopping by, have a nice day and happy cultivation 💚🌳💚🌳

Buenas a tod@s... Otra semanita más ya en flora, van creciendo muy bien, uniformes, hermosas y fuertes... Ricos aromas ya están formándose los cogollos de a poquito, van tomando forma de a poco, me encantan, se las ve muy bien y aguantan muy bien la temperatura ya q hay veces q hace bastante calor, se toman otras medidas en ese caso pero de momento van muy bien... A seguir creciendo, me está gustando la evolución de este cultivo, y el siguiente, mejor... 💪🏻⚡💀😎 🇦🇷🤝🏻🇪🇦

Aquí vemos el momento de la felicidad plena, donde la genética y el banco cumplen su palabra y sugerencias, una genética super independiente, con poco cuidado se llevo el premio de la mejor entre las otras plantas que he cultivado este año, aguanto mucho las plagas, con excepción de la ultima semana que entre la humedad y las lluvias, los trips aprovecharon el lavado de los preventivos para atacarla, pero no llegaron a ser un problema, la planta tuvo un crecimiento continuo y parejo, desarrollo muy buena estructura y producción impresionante!!!!!, 820 gramos de cogollos húmedos, muchísima resina, cogollos super compactos y duros, en el día de mañana estaré generando una extracción para probar retorno, color y sabor, muy contento de haber cultivado esta magnifica joya del banco BSF Seeds, mega recomendado.
