What a world of difference a week can make when growing auto-flowers. I did a lot of maintenance on these girls the last couple of days. See pics and videos. Two of the plants have stretched out nicely. The other three are falling behind, but looking very nice. There is a strong citrus smell happening right now. Smells like I have a tent full of fresh lemons. Started using Big Bud and Bud Candy this past week. Tent 2as getting quite crowded, so I also moved the water reservoir on the outside of the tent. It was very hard to cut a lot of those beautiful buds off the plants, but I think it will pay off. I also got the new Vivosun Grow Cams, so far I like them, but I do have some feed back.

This was a beautiful strain to grow. With her flowers getting big towards the end of harvest as well as the purple colours! I would definitely recommend that you try grow this strain. The buds are super dense and very well formed. An absolute treat to smoke and look at.

Fantastic week. Lots has changed. Plants are stacking something fierce! I cut out the nitrogen completely this week, qnd that's how it will stay for the duration of the rest of the grow. I have found with autos, i have had the best luck when I push them hard with nitrogen up until this stage in growth. I then cut out the nitrogen completely and up the bloom nutes quite dramatically. For the rest of the grow I will feed every watering. Water at a 6.4 ph. Gro- 0ml per gal Micro- 10ml per gal Bloom- 15ml per gal Bug bud- 5ml per gal Very much looking forward to watching this batch swell!! This is the biggest plant in my grow at 27 inches tall so far! She may pick up an inch or two. Beautiful plant. And a mutant at that. 3 branches from each node instead of 2. Really cool. Great looking plant. Heavy stalk.

Just as difficult to grow as the first time I done Afghan kush but still managed to get some nice purple bud out of it!!!

16.4.25: I have retied the fabric ties again, as they're growing like crazy. Trying to open up the plant, to grow out as well as up. This will also create new colas. At this stage, I'm trying not to over fertilise like I did with the last grow. Focusing on Cal-Mag amino acids and Mega Crop Part A. The medium is my custom super soil, which is already fertilised with Ecothrive dry amendments. So I could just add water. However, as we've already run into deficiency, that would be careless. I find it easy to keep an eye on the plants and carefully inspect them daily to act quickly when issues arise. Learning how to determine the issue is what I'm still learning, which is the hard part 😅 It's all fun though, and I'm really enjoying this grow with all the toppings and FIMs. So far so good! 21.4.25: Hope everyone had a great 420! Northern lights is absolutely beautiful, great structure. I'm determining when to relax the LST as we are now in the beginning of week 3 flower. I do have height. However, I'd like to keep it reasonable. You never know when they will stop growing. I'm not really adjusting any ties since the last time, but I have added an LST clips as one of the middle tops was much talker than the others. I am trying very hard to exercise some much necessary self restraint here! 😅 it is becoming increasingly difficult! I have also noticed that there are signs of Nitrogen excess. Maybe 2 leaves have very thin overlapping blades. Instead of Mega Crop Part A and Cal-Mag amino acids, I will use Bud explosion PK booster with the Cal-Mag. This will make the N5 the only Nitrogen being given. It still may be too much, but will monitor closely to see the effect this change will make, if any. Balancing the nutrients is very important for me to learn, and it's going to be an ongoing process. I watered today with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with the following nutrients: ♡ 1/2 Tsp of Bud Explosion PK booster by Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients 23.4.25: Plant seemed to be drinking heavily, so I watered again with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with;- ♡ 2.5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients, and ♡ Ecothrive Biosys 1/8 tsp. I removed the plant ties and retied the plant after watering. Less ties are necessary as the plant has moulded and stayed in that structure. 25.4.25: Northern Lights was much overdue for a retie of the fabric ties. After this session of LST, the plant is absolutely huge. I really could easily fill the tent with just her. The fact that this plant could fill out a 4ft² space absolutely proves that autoflowering strains can outdo photoperiods. Yeesh, what a ball drop Circuit Breaker kept tripping. Using 3 450w, co2, exhaust fan, 3 fans. I unplugged the Co2 after 3 days of troubleshooting. Vpd got totally screwed, plants didnt get watered and messed up the steer. Irrigation system clogged(probably from stagnating) Reservoir has buildup of organic material. Think it was caused from Kelp, and microbes being added to the tank A bubbler didn’t help, covering it didn’t help. I did not try “hydrogaurd” I will stop adding organic nutes. I am now watering by dubbing a bucket into the tank and gand waterin Also, no more than 1000w of lighting in a room. I prefer to use a full quality setup with less plants. No Co2 is ridiculous. Each test ive done has shown that co2 gets me heavier yields.

In Woche 4 der Blüte gebe ich den Ladys die zweite Ladung Greenhouse Feeding BioBloom je 2.5g/L vom Topf. Dazu gebe ich per Gießwasser ab jetzt alle 2 Wochen 1g/L den BioEnhancer von Greenhouse Feeding und bei jedem Gießgang den Greenhouse Feeding Booster 0.2g/L. Die Ladys wurden auch großzügig entlaubt. jetzt Konzentrieren sie sich auf die Produktion der Blüten.

added trellis netting this week to start SCROG. two layers close to eachother so I don't have to wait for entire square of growth to tuck under higher growth to keep flat even canopy. also minimizes my need for zip tie and garden ties needinf adjustment. I'm happy with veg growth thus far, and once the screen fills up with more green in a week or two these two ladies will both be ready to flip to flower. waiting on lower nodes to develop a bit more and get best use I can from a big(ish) 315 w LEC light. the girls are getting foliar every 3 or 4 days. using heavy 16 foliar only at the moment but will follow their foliar mix as grow progresses. smell has gotten much heavier, especially in nemo, the more blueberry pheno of the two, looking at the fan leafs I think V is more haze pheno with super thin sativa leaf structure.
